Horrible service when i visited on 6/1/15 while visiting Houston form Dallas. Ordered take out and 30 min later order wasn't ready. But the party I was with's order was ready (with missing items). Every time they would check on it and say it's coming up but never could tell me how much longer. This happened twice. I finally asked for my money back. The waiter told the manager. Another 5 minutes passed by. I asked to see the manager. He finally came out and handed me a receipt for my refund. No apologies, neither did he offer to rectify the situation. Just gave me the receipt and said here is your refund. MOST restaurants would have compensated me by giving my food free, especially since it was already prepared. read more

We went to Chili's, first visit for lunch today. We were greeted promptly and shown to our table. Our server came to take our drink order and deliver a hard menu. I used the scanned menu. Hubs used the hard menu. Server was very courteous. Unfortunately I didn't get her name, we were seated in the bar area. She had a long dark ponytail, slim and I forgot your name, I'm sorry. Your pleasing personality was the best part of our lunch. She was happy to wait on us! I ordered the $8 lunch with soup or salad selection and sandwich selection. Ordered the loaded potato soup that she recommended. Great choice! And the small burger with fries. Hubs ordered the OldTimer burger and fries. Food arrived nice and hot. Our server asked if we would like other dipping sauces such as honey mustard or ranch. We took her up on her suggestion and asked for ranch which we received immediately. The food was good. The bathrooms were recently cleaned and in good order. Plenty of soap and toweling. Upon leaving our server asked if she could fix to go drinks for us! She was so kind and happy! We had dinner here, and the entire experience was terrible. The waitress was nice but when I ordered boneless buffalo wings, she looked at me as if I was speaking another language. I had to explain to her what I was talking about. Maybe nobody calls them that anymore, but she was so confused. Walking past the kitchen to the restroom I was appalled at the condition of the kitchen floor. There were chips among other things all over the floor. We ordered chips and queso, and the queso was cold. The food arrived in a timely manner and the order was completed correctly, but as we were eating our dinner someone in the kitchen continually kept dropping the f bomb. Wow! Worst experience ever at Chili's. We were there an hour and a half. Waitress made an error inputting our order and it was never sent to the kitchen. She would have known this if she had came by our table the next twenty or so minutes after the order. Another waiter refilled the chips and salsa. Another one had refilled our drinks before we ordered food. To me the worst part was never having the manager come over and apologize. Food was okay. They did make another one but it took more than 15 minutes and in the meantime my food was cold because I didnt want to eat all my food while my wife watched. I am a regular here because I love their chocolate cake. I have always ordered to go and tonight was my first time dining here. We were seated right away but when our server came to our table he did not even introduce himself. He was very rude, did not greet or smile and pretty much there the menu on the table and walked away. My wife and I have come to this chili's for years. Every time we leave I tell her it was my last time. She keeps convincing me to go back and try again. Every time we have a problem with the service and nearly every time we have a problem with the food. Today was the last straw. We got seated and told a waitress would be by in a second. I am trying to put this the right way. The waitress seemed nice but not very attentive. We asked for plates and got two for a table of 5. We asked for napkins still have not seen any finally went to the counter and grabbed them myself. No manager in sight for a Saturday night . I could care less anymore if they close this place. I am thirsty but afraid to drink the rest of my drink in fear of not getting another one before my dinner comes. Today, my husband suggested we go to Chili's to eat. We had eaten there many times before and had always ordered their old timer burger. Today was no different, we ordered our usual old timer and ice tea with lots of lemons, and I replaced the fries with the onion blossoms. When we finally received our food, I had no dipping sauce for the onions and my husband needed mustard. As soon as he told her, she took off like a fire was behind her. And I was waiting to let her know that I did not have a fork. But she was gone and she never did ask if there was anything else we needed before she ran off. Much later she returned with a fresh glass of tea and again left before we could ask for anything. Well on to the food, the ground beef for the burgers was overcooked and dry, it was actually crunchy. My onions were some burnt. My glass of tea was never refilled until just prior to leaving when I requested more tea with lemons. This was the next to the worst customer service, no attention to her customers. And I must say it was not busy. We left a tip proportioned to the level of service. We never saw a manager come around to inquire about everything. read more

The restaurant is never even 1/2 full however the past few times we've tried to have lunch there it takes 45 minutes to get our food. Then when it finally arrives it's never how it was ordered. We frequent this location about once month. Our last visit was sub-par. I'm hoping a regional manager reads this and makes some changes. We came on a Sunday afternoon and were seated immediately. It took 10min for our wait person to take our drink order (which the waiter got wrong) The menus had crayon markings all over all of them and were greasy. This location has been over run ever since the chilis in riverpark/greatwood area closed. The service is great but the food always takes forever. This of course isn't the servers fault, but management needs to hire more cooks to get plates out faster and while they're still hot. read more

Jeez Us, for a chain restaurant where all essential playbooks and menus are written for you this place finds a way to screw the experience up every single time. I like Chili's food, it's usually the same everywhere but the Rosenberg location fails miserably in its people and more so managers. Two times I've been here and they were out of regular replacement store items that doesn't allow them to make a certain dish, one time was avocados so I ask the waiter why NOONE goes to either store less than a mile away to remedy the situation to which they answered "I'm not sure". You will also wait at about an hour for food and don't plan on drink refills, it's just about the most atrocious service you can imagine and 2 last visits I had to go find said servers chatting it up in the kitchen. This falls on pitiful management that seems to not change here. I've given them 5 tries (call me a slow learner) and not once could they pull off a decent run. Frankly I'm amazed the Rosenberg location is still open, I know others that have the same experience. Sad, I enjoy the food but won't put up with all this to spend my money somewhere. read more

It's been many years since I had been to Chili's so I decided to stop by with my cousin for an appetizer and a drink. The guy who took our order was polite and all and got us our drinks pretty quick. Now the appetizer on the other hand took forever! Went to the men's room and it was filthy. A roll of toilet paper was unrolled on the floor and as I was going back to my seat I was looking about and seen paper napkins on the floor and two waitresses just standing around talking. Never again will I be going back! Update: Since my visit I was contacted by Chili's and they assured me that they would address my issues regarding my last visit so I reluctantly went back about a month later and yes my experience there was much better. But I will only give them a three star rating even though they corrected the issues and hopefully it will stay that way. read more

There is NO sense of urgency or customer service here. Bad experience would be a step up. There is no management or oversight. When you have a table of six or so guests and everyone's food is served at the same time, that's great. But when one guest who ordered a simple salad waits more than 20 minutes for service, that's an issue. Today, that issue was mine. I finally asked for someone to tell a manager to cancel my meal. It of course wasn't done, and then the Manager on Duty came to my table. I was NOT going to discuss my issue in front of my guests. I never saw him again. I did pay the bill but will NEVER return. Understand that you are in the HOSPITALITY BUSINESS. This isn't the case. This a corporate restaurant that may be adequate for the masses. It's not worth your money. This place is so gross. I walked in and immediately noticed the bar was COVRED with half eaten dishes. Then I was instantly sat down which is great! But then I noticed EVERYTHING is covered in food bits... the menses are colored on, and and full of nasty dried... idk junk, and the other open tables (all but mine and three or four others that were occupied) were fully overestimate in crumbs and piles of old food. You can tell they don't even dust because the tops of the seat backs and section dividers are dusty. It's smelled like... i don't wanna know. The music was a little too loud for me to be able to converse with anyone.. and it was good music, oldies... but a current song every now and then can't hurt people. Because not everyone listens to that. The food was decent, I ordered the Cajun chicken Alfredo... I, personally, would have put WAAAYY more seasonings because it was just like all cheese and a little chili powder. The Cajun get in NOLA and ... almost anywhere else, has a lot of flavor and a kick of spice! So one star for seating me quickly and getting my my water refill. read more

I feel like you know what you're getting when you go to a Chili's. Acceptable food and average service for a reasonable price are the drawing feature to this restaurant chain. This particular location, unfortunately, fails to meet the very attainable standard set by Chili's restaurants. We have come to this location on a few different occasions for a small late night bite to eat and a drink or two. The service is always questionable and the food and drink is never great, but it serves the purpose for which we are looking. What I would normally rate as a two or three star establishment dropped to a rare one star rated location yesterday. We walked in to try lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated quickly, but that's where the service stopped. We sat there for almost fifteen minutes and no one even came to acknowledge us. There was no drink order, no waters, or even a hello. More than three different servers and staff members made eye contact with us as we patiently waited, but nothing. Finally, in awe, we smiled, laughed it off, and stood up from our booth to walk out. On our way out the woman who had originally shown us to our seat glanced our way as we walked by and then continued to go about her business. We are never rude, regardless of the situation, and we were not this time either, but we did have to leave and walk to the McAllisters next door. read more

I'm a health care professional (nurse) and my coworkers and I decided to go have a COUPLE of drinks after work, which is rare for us between work, kids, husbands, etc. Had a great time venting/socializing to each other until the check came and some of us were charged for an extra drink. Would have been fine if they would have just corrected the bills BUT we had to go through the waiter to a manager and then to another manager (MARIBEL) that had the audacity to say if they ordered extra drinks they would be sitting on the bar and there were no drinks on the bar. Pretty much calling us liars! She then went through the whole visit with us from round to round as if we were alcoholics trying to get free drinks! While trying to explain to Maribel over and over that we did not order/drink those extra drinks added to our ticket she rolled her eyes and said "It doesn't even matter" and finally fixed our check! We had a very unpleasant and embarrassing experience at Chilli's in Rosenberg - the caucasian lady at the bar would not serve us beer because a family member of mine did not have "US ID". I explained to her that he was in town from Mexico and the lady refused to serve him which embarrassed him and left a bad impression. We have never had this sort of problem with any establishment we've been to. He uses his Mexican ID everywhere without any problems. I cannot make of this. Especially because she first glanced at it and seamed like it was okay, then moments later told us we could not be served because of his ID. The restaurant was pretty dead and it looked like they could use the business. After my experience I will never return and neither with any of my family. I'll gladly take my money somewhere else, where I am wanted and respected. We felt like we were being discriminated against. To me, customer service goes a long way, I know this especially because I work in customer service so I know how people should be treated. Maybe she's in the wrong industry. I only hope she learns from her mistakes and hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. I'll eat at the Buffalo Wild Wings next door next time, they know how to treat people. My husband and I love chili's and we were so excited when we moved out here to see how close this one is, sadly it's horrible. We've ordered to go 3 times from there with the same result each time. When we got there we waited 20 minutes for our food to be ready, even though we went at the time they said it'd be ready. We've had to check out order before leaving the restaurant because each time they have left something we ordered out of the bag, the food is cold, not just a 5 minutes drive home cool, but cold when we pull it out of the bag, when we've gotten burgers the buns are ripped and they look thrown together, the salad looks disgusting and has wilted/brown lettuce. It's just a very poorly managed location. We've tried calling about the quality of the food once or twice but it doesn't do any good. We've also eaten inside twice thinking it was just the to go, it's not. The food and service is the same quality inside as it is in to go. It's worth the drive to go to another location, even the one 20 minutes from us, the food is still warm and put together by the time we get home. read more

I wish I could put 0 stars. Came here for drinks and watch Thursday night football. Basically planning on spending a few hundred dollars over the course of the evening. The restaurant side had 4 people. The bar had about 10. TV was good so I stood at one of the tall tables at the bar with 2 others. 2 more members of our party showed up (5 total) and we were advised we could not stand at the bar table because it was made for 4 people and only had 4 chairs, and having an extra body standing there was a fire hazard for the wait-staff to move between the restaurant. I looked around, the whole place was essentially empty so I asked if I could talk to the manager to try to accommodate our party. The waitress says "oh you sure can" in a sarcastic/rude way and leaves. The manager comes a few minutes later and we have the same conversation. I explain that ther bar is empty and I don't see why we could not just stand at the table. She says there's no exceptions. I was rather mad by that point, so I told them I could fix the problem by having zero people at the table, and B-dubs across the plaza was jammed packed because they treat their customers better than this. I wasn't going to beg to stay, so we paid for our first round and left. BTW...as we're leaving there's another party that advised me that they were put on a wait list to be seated, when there was no one there too...said they also had a "weird" experience at this place. read more

Always stellar service! Always good food. Occasionally slow because they're understaffed but that is not the service staffs fault. Tip the service staff but toast the tight wad manager.
