The food was just luke warm and the service was ok. Kinda seemed like the food was sitting for a long time before we finally got it.

I was at this place at the Quarry recently. It has problems with old food. The food is not being properly watched and is old. I was very sick almost immediately when I went to the parking lot to my car. I was violently ill that early a.m. after dining at Chili's. I was in fact ill for several days after with very bad stomach pains. I would stay away from this place for good. We will not go back. It's a dump. Again the food has no standards and their management could care less about the quality and inspection of their food. read more

Man I kinda feel bad about giving this review. However it's gotta be done because no one else should have to deal with this. My wife and I stopped by and tried the 2 for 35 meal. It's supposed to come with 2 top shelf margaritas. Well....as I poured my margarita out a dead fruit fly came out along with the drink. I let the staff know and they took it back. No telling where the fruit fly came from, the server told the bar tender, and he proceeded to make another margarita. No telling where the fly came from the mix or the liquor, I just wasn't interested in a margarita that could potentially be infiltrated by fruit flies. The bar tender didn't check or the manager, so I asked for a beer. No big D but a beer isn't on the same value of a a top shelf margarita. They still charged me for it. The server also lacked knowledge on the menu. I asked him if I could order a certain plate on the 2 for 35 and he confidently said yes. Turns out it's not possible to have ribs with the 2 for 35 so they let us know 15 minutes later.....in other words I had to order a new item. Soooooooo we had to wait that much longer. We sat there for almost 30 mins before I food came out so they could serve both our plates at the same time. I feel like a jerk for leaving this review. But the reality of this is my wife and I haven't been out on a date/lunch for a long time since we had our son, this just didn't meet expectations. We walked in for a nice leisurely lunch and were told to sit at the bar area. Guess they were a little short on service as I noted later. I ordered Chili... Thinking this should be good at a place named Chili's. I was so wrong. Chili from a can would be better. Oh wait if I had known the hostess I could have gotten a table. I'm disappointed. As Chili's is usually a safe place to go for decent food, this weekend I ventured out to a new location at the Quarry. I ordered my favorite Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta and it do not pass a certain health code. There was one ingredient that was not common, a piece of MEDAL!!! This medal was just staring at me and I was just thinking, "I don't think this is supposed to be here". I told the manager and he got me a new plate. I gave this place three stars based on the great menu. Although, it seems like they rearrange the menu everytime I go. The service was good except for one thing. When we asked the waitress which soup she would recommend she responded with "I don't eat anything here"... Not exactly what you want to hear from your server. + Quick seating during lunch After spending some time at the shooting range, a couple friends and I browsed around the Quarry to look for a place to eat and came here since it was near walking distance from where we parked. We were greeted with an enthusiastic hostest and promptly seated. I ordered chicken crispers (the only item I have tried after the 3 times I've been to Chilis my whole life) and asked for light seasoned corn with no butter. Usually they dump a load of seasoning, salt, and butter on the corn which is distasteful. I would have to drink a gallon of water to dilute the salt. The food tasted just fine as expected. The chicken was fully cooked and slightly dry, fries were stiff and tough to chew, and the corn (without the overload of butter and seasoning) tasted like, well, corn. Nothing to spectacular. On the plus side, the waitress was very friendly and the service was quick. I wouldn't mind coming back here. read more

What can I say other then I will never ever again go back to this location. At first we were really happy with our waiter, we let him know that my 9 year olds soda tasted like soap. He apologized and brought us new ones. However when our food arrived the order was wrong, the girl who brought it out (I BELIVE is like a lead or something) said she would bring us the missing sauce . We waited about 15 mins then asked our waiter, he said he would bring it. We waited another 10 mins . We then told the Manager who brought out the cold sauce . Smh everyone had already finished at our table and my food was cold and hard. No accommodations were offered other then a new order that I would have to wait for or the sauce. $55.00 down the drain I would have rather ate McDonald's (I hate McDonald's) and save 1/2 the money on that food instead of this food. Where do I even start? The service and food here was horrible. Three girls working were constantly standing and chilling when help was needed, checking their phones, and giving faces. My side of salad had brown lettuce and the cookie that we got with ice cream was very badly burnt that it wasn't even good at all. Cocktail/Bar Review Only: Simply put, my Patron Margarita consisted of what tasted purely like the sugary pre-mixed bottle stuff. I would have been willing to forgo the lack of real lime juice if there was a dribble of alcohol mixed in. I am disappointed to report that all I felt was a headache and possible cavity after ingesting so much liquid sugar. I went to the Quarry location and I ordered the triple dipper with the chicken strips. When I received my plate the strips looked really light in color so I was ify about eating them. I cut into the chicken and they were RAW!! It took a few minutes before I was able to flag down a waitress. She took it back and I waited. My daughter had already finished her meal when I finally received my plate again. This time the chicken looked over cooked. The manager asked if I would cut open the strips and check them. At this point I was already very hungry I told him they were ok. I finally ate which I picked at the chicken by this time. Got the bill and didnt even get a discount of any kind. I did complain but paid anyways. Today I received a coupon for a free appetizer. Which sucks because I always get free chips and salsa or queso anyways. And i have to use it by this weekend. Everything was good the service and food. Up until we had to pay, my friends and I all had different checks. 2 of my friends paid using the little machine, but only one of them gave tip. This was because they wanted to tip in cash but paid in card. Since I paid in cash I waited for the waiter to come, and when he did he immediately said " only one person has tipped, the other person is going to tip too right ???" in a rude manner. Nevertheless you shouldn't ask for tip, it is all based off your service I was really shocked. When he came back with my change he didn't even give me all of it be basically rounded it to the nearest dollar. Very LGBT-friendly. On weeknights, the bar area is full of LGBT folk. Karen in the bar area is one of the best servers I've ever had. This is the worst Chilis I have ever been to. The service was ok but the food quality was awful. The chicken fried steak was fried so hard it felt like eating rocks and it was so salty. They were out of 3 different options on the limited kids menu. The restrooms were filthy and out of papertowels as well. Absolutely horrible. Chicken "crispers" were soggy, and our server, Phillip was terrible. He practically begged for a tip, saying "don't forget to tip me!" after serving us, and constantly looked back at our table to see if we were leaving a tip (we were gonna tip him either way). He even accused us of being cheap, saying we weren't gonna tip him since he served us before, when none of us even knew this location existed! (two of us are from California and I live in Austin). The server didn't give my sister's card back and none of the managers or workers even helped us look for it. When my cousin confronted the server, about it, Phillip asked him to step outside, making threatening gestures. None of the managers or workers cared to help us, even the customers sitting in the other booths were more helpful. Overall the staff seemed to not care, and now my sisters debit card is who knows where... Highly recommend against going to this location, especially if you get Phillip as your server. read more

I rarely go out and eat. Especially to big establishments like Chili's. However, I received a gift card and so my girlfriend and I decided to make a fun day of it. We had plans to get some delicious food and order a few drinks from the bar. However, as soon as we were seated at The Quarry #497, it took close to 15 minutes before our server, Selene, came by to take our drink order. It then took her an additional 10 minutes before she came back with our waters and take our order. She was quick to take our orders and kept cutting me off when trying to explain how I wanted my sandwich made. We then sat for 30 minutes before our food was brought out to us. During this time, our server never came to check on us or refill our water. Although, the restaurant didn't look busy, I do understand that it may have been understaffed at the time. However, we were never told even told anything or given any sort of apologies for things taking so long. Even if it wasn't understaffed, I would have at least appreciated being lied to. Once our food was brought to us, our server just put our food on the table and walked away. She did not ask us if we needed anything else and still did not refill our waters. Needless to say, my sandwich wasn't prepared the way I had asked. Luckily, another server walking by saw that our drinks needed refilling and he graciously refilled our waters. I feel bad for not getting his name, because he was very kind for doing so. After we were done eating and given our bill, our server said that we could just pay on their tabletop kiosk and walked away. We tried swiping our gift card in the device and it gave us an error. We then had to wait an additional 10 minutes before we could grab her to tell her it was not working. She then said, "Ugh... I guess I'll just do it myself". Once she came back, we left. I have came to this location before but that night I left disappointed. I went on a Friday night after work with a friend and we ordered the two for $35 special. We quickly ordered our drinks and appetizer. Our waitress took over ten minutes in getting both things being that it was a Friday night. I ordered the 6 ounce sirloin with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. Once we ordered our food we munched down on our chips and salsa. It took almost 20-30 minutes to serve our food. In between that time we barely saw our waiter to check on us or even letting us know when our food was coming out. Once it did I was very surprised by how small the steak was. There was lots of broccoli and mash but not enough meat?! Hmmph! Even Cheddars steak meal is better than that! The Presidente margarita had too much alcohol it wasn't mixed right. Be very careful! Once dinner was over we got our Oreo molten chocolate desert and it was so good! I enjoyed every morsel of it. When it got to paying our bill it took over ten minutes just to get it cleared.
