Came here with the family for some tacos. The place inside looked nice and like the design of it. The lady at the front was patient and nice enough to give us time and recommendations when we asked. We did order a good amount of food and sent the order in for us quickly. We did have to wait a little longer than expected but eventually got our food. We had it to go and it was nice of them to label everything so can separate it faster. The tacos overall i felt were too expensive for what we ordered and when we received them, they were not really hot/warm. The democrats taco was a barbacoa taco but was very greasy. The tortilla was slimy because of it and broke apart easy. The republican taco was alright did find it a bit overwhelming with the ingredients thrown in there or too much I felt. I did put salsa in it and did help for flavor. We did order chips and cheese too which were decent. Other tacos my family ate said we're alright. Overall the food was OK but not sure if I would go out of my way for it again in the near future. Maybe an off day. read more

In this case, the juice was not worth the squeeze. I feel like the tacos are really small and they were not probably prepared. For the steak it was OK but the salmon was overcooked. Additionally, for the first time, I did not enjoy my chips and queso. The chips were so salty. I was not able to eat them at all and the gas stove did not feel fresh. Additionally, it took a long time to get my pick up order even though the restaurant wasn't busy and nobody paused to communicate with me. I will not be returning to this location. read more

This location is a little bit of a trainwreck not gonna lie. Employees are super hit or miss. Some are very nice and you can tell are hustling to go the extra mile for the guests, while others are rude, slow, and don't get your order correct. Was the marg good - yes. Was the $2 off happy hour on all classic menu drinks a good deal - for sure. But was my order made quickly and correctly - no. I have come to this location over 5 times int he past & they are consistently slow. I place a mobile order at 1pm. It says it'll be ready at 1:12pm. I go into the store at 1:20. I'm waiting until 1:40 to receive.... A salad. Save your time & money and choose another location or just grab burger boy since they are right next door. Also, I ordered the Democrat - all I got was a Taco with a lot of meat, two pieces of Avocado each half the size of a fingernail, very little grated cheese, a little bit of onion and nothing else. Stopped by torchy's tacos for happy hour. Their drinks are two dollars off. I had the Tini. It was a mixture of margarita mix and olive juice. Not a bad combination. I also ordered their half size queso, and chips and the Mr. orange. The queso is always delicious there. It can be a little bit spicy. The half size is perfect for one or two people. The orange taco is a taco with salmon. I got it on a corn tortilla. The taco is big and fills you up. It was tasty and had a little kick of spice to it. The restaurant is big and has plenty of seating. They have inside and outside seating. Parking is available, but shared with the other businesses. The girl taking the order wasn't the friendliest. She looked like she hated her job. Otherwise, the other staff members were super nice. The bartender brought out my drink was nice enough to also go back and get us cups for water. I liked that you ordered up front, sat down and a server would deliver the goods once ready. Because this was my first time I went a little overboard with what I got compared to what I could actually eat BUT leftovers are fantastic so I went for it. 3 tacos- green chile pork, the democrat, and the tipsy chick. First two were on a corn tortilla, chick was on a flour. First two, loved. The tender flavorful meat, tasty filings, great size. The tipsy chick was good, but I wasn't in love, the bacon bourbon marmalade was a little too sweet for me but I had already poured it all over and maybe if the spinach was chopped up a little could have helped. My friend got 3 tacos too, she loved the tipsy chick. Of hers, I tried the Baja shrimp she got and it was damn good (definitely would get this one next time) , and Mr . Great customer service. But these tacos are not the Torchy's tacos I have come to love. I only tasted salt and the breaded part of the shrimp. The coleslaw and cilantro looked like it was from the day before. It was already browning. Even the limes were pretty dried and didn't produce much juice. We had varieties of tacos like the texas trail, fried avocado and the seasonal one. I need to double check the name but those are the tacos we had. Their quezo was fine not so interesting but their chips was really good. Service to this place is kind of not organized that makes the first timer to get confused but when you surpassed that the experience was really nice. The staff helped us to get the most recommended and it's nice that they were able assist. The place was cool enough and good for Family or friends bonding. Ordered online for pickup. Specified my preferences via the online check boxes. Even the receipt says "No guacamole, No diablo sauce" on my queso. I did not get what I asked for and my queso included the guac and diablo sauce. I ordered a beef fajita taco, it was gross. The veggies were al dente slimed in oil as was the meat which was tough and chewy like an accordion. There was so much melted fat and oil that the corn tortilla was soggy and broke. Cannot recommend this place. Serious quality control issues and neglectful attitude. It is a shame because it looks nice inside and the hillside view from the patio is a nice draw. read more

Came in on the spur of the moment. Been here before, but it's been a hot minute. Only 8 draft beer choices but they're good ones. I had the SA Hefe. The food was spot on. My wife got the Baja shrimp (grilled shrimp) and I got the Brushfire. It is grilled jerk chicken with Jalapeños, mango, sour cream and cilantro. Your choice of corn or flour tortilla. I also added the Diablo sauce for some extra spice. Amanda was behind the bar and was AMAZING!! She is attentive but not overly. She is always cleaning, which I found to be very refreshing. Based on a misunderstanding we could not get our food before we had to leave and Katie was so gracious that she said you've already paid, after your appointment come back and we'll complete your order.
