If you come for the soft serve margaritas they are GREAT! Strong and delicious. Since they are having many orders for them we did wait about 20 minutes for them but they are def worth it. Disclaimer- they will separate if you let them sit. The food here was delicious but the service wasn't great we had long waits for food, drink, ordering, closing out, just about everything. If they are struggling with popularity I wish they had more preparation for the crowds, but it's understandable. If the service and speed of things improved I would love to give a better review.

    Frozen strawberry and mango margaritas

One of the best Mexican food we've had in San Antonio. Everyone fully enjoyed their food and the margaritas were delicious! Our server was amazing and patient as we couldn't decide what to order. There are plenty of menu items to choose from and I'm sure they are all delicious! The restaurant is clean, fun and a great place to meet friends or have the family!

Wanted to try the famous soft serve margarita, it was a mango/strawberry mix and came with a little spoon too. It was soooo good!! Loved the garnishes, made it look extra cute and even those tasted good! Got the beef fajita plate and added some shrimp, all delicious! Tried the bean and cheese chalupas too and even loved those! The place has a fun vibe, feels like a party with good music. Service was good, food was out fast. Can't wait to go back to try other plates!

Place was so awesome! Food was aamazing. Had a few servers check on me and my boyfriend throughout our dinner. Excellent!

These Chilaquiles with green salsa are amazing and for 6.99 with 2 tortillas of your choice not bad!

We are always looking for a great value when it comes to causal dinning on the go. This place is a perfect spot to have breakfast at a very reasonable cost. We came in for breakfast and they had amazing breakfast specials. 3 breakfast tocos for under $4. They had 2 full breakfast plates for under $7. I personally had the chilaquiles with green salsa and two over easy eggs. It was super fresh and delicious. The plate came with 2 fluffy non greasy flour tortillas baked to perfection. The coffee was surprisingly fresh and had a kick. The staff is super friendly, and this was a very nice causal breakfast exp. Would highly recommend if you are in the Leon Valley area.

Absolutely worth checking out. I came after a recommendation from a neighbor and am so happy we did. Ordered the molcajete and it was so big I shared it with my husband. It was full of flavor and spice, the meat was great quality. I don't usually get tender steak in fajita meat, but this steak had great flavor and texture. The corn tortillas also had great flavor. For the price, you cannot beat it. We visited during lunch so it was very quiet, our server was friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience and definitely recommend.

    Pina colada

Service was the only thing good here. The food was just ok, but never had I seen a band play in such a small place that it felt cramped. I have had pina colada drinks and as beautiful as this looked, never had I seem one with the core still inside and tasted like too much sour mix. I didn't take a picture of the Blue Hawaiian because I returned it, it was not good. Plus I had everyone in our table try it. We didn't get all our food and drinks out at the same time. Our parrillada, the meat could have been sliced better, the beans and rice were good.

Mango margarita with chamoy tajin rim.

The food is always fresh, made to order. The margaritas are customizable with top shelf. Always on point.

Great, homey Tex-Mex restaurant atmosphere, service was friendly if not particularly fast. The chicken burrito was good, though nothing to write home about. A tad bland, even with a dose of salsa to kick things up. Still, I'd give it a three or four out of five stars were it not for the state of the cutlery. I got a dirty knife (pictured) even though it was wrapped in a napkin. This was replaced but it did leave an impression. This place scores a 3 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.

This is real, authentic Mexican food done right. The customer service was excellent, and everything came out quickly. I ordered the mini taquitos with al pastor and asada, their torcas plate, and the quesabirria, everything was flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I was also really impressed with the portion sizes, they give you a great amount of food for what you pay. I actually ended up packing two to-go boxes to bring back home. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in San Antonio. Looking forward to trying more of their menu!

When the food comes out, I notice the ample portions of rice and beans. The rice has is nicely done and seasoned well as were the beans. Solid start. The enchiladas are soaked in a thicker chile sauce that is very flavorful. They are topped/stuffed with plenty of cheese and the added onions I requested came as ordered. Good job. Overall, i enjoyed Saritas as the staff was friendly and the food on point. I'll be back to try more of the menu.

Sarita's is a fairly large restaurant with a bar. We sat in a booth, and the background Tejano music was loud. I looked up and we were sitting beneath the speaker, but it looked like every couple of booths there were ceiling speakers all over the restaurant. I know they're trying to create an atmosphere, but I really just wanna eat lunch and I don't need background music. I ordered chicken Caldo and my husband ordered an enchilada plate. I like that we got chips and there was no extra charge as the other restaurant that we normally go to charges for chips if it's not dinner time. The waitress was very attentive and came to our table quickly. She took our order and the food didn't take long to come out. the chicken Caldo had generous pieces of chicken, a fairly large wing and a breast along with a couple of large pieces of carrots, celery half a red potato , and a lot of bell pepper. I noticed I didn't receive any rice and the waitress and she told me that rice did not come with the Caldo, but I could order some on the side which I decided not to do. Overall, it was really good although it probably had a total of two green peppers in it so that was a bit much and sort of an unusual veggie to put in the Caldo, but it was still good. My husband enjoyed his enchilada plate. He asked for Barracho beans and got refried beans, but he figured he wouldn't ask the waitress to change them. I used the restroom and the music was really really loud in there. There were a lot of rust marks on the floor and the walls because it looked like the bathroom doors and hardware had been moved. So it gave the appearance of looking sort of dirty . Overall good food, but wish that background music would be turned down.

I used to live in some apartments around the corner and whenever my sister and brother-in-law would visit, they had to visit this Las Palapas at LEAST once. He likes their Chilaquiles. I've since moved a little further, but it's still the closest Palapas to me. My mom was in town and my cousin wanted to treat us to breakfast so we picked this Las Palapas location to meet up. It was very dark inside the restaurant, and very empty (we were there around 8:30 AM). Despite the emptiness, service was very slow (there was only one waitress on the floor). It took maybe 10-15 minutes for our orders to even go in. The actual service itself was amazing. Our waitress was incredibly kind and helpful. Honestly, once the order was taken it was smooth sailing from then on. I ordered a Chorizo plate and a side of bacon. The plate came with chorizo and egg, refried beans, and potatoes. We were also given a choice of the flour or corn tortillas. I picked flour. With these components I was able to build one of my favorite tacos: chorizo and egg with bean and bacon, and it was delicious. I had a ton of leftovers though. But major props to Palapas for keeping me so full for most of the day that I survived the drive to Kingsville and back without needing to stop for food. I even had the leftovers for dinner (and made another taco!)
