I mean, it's Chili's. If you're coming here you probably already know what to expect. The service is hit or miss. Your waiter is either going to be attentive or impossible to find. There is no in between. The drink menu is terrible. If you're not a fan of margarita's then you'd better like standard bar drinks that you can get elsewhere for half the price. Once upon a time they had a drink menu that included more than 6 margarita's but that was replaced when they first redid the menu. Most of the food is decent, standard Tex-Mex. The appetizers are pretty pricey for what you get, especially the nachos, but otherwise everything is pretty fairly priced. Not sure why this place is listed as a Mexican restaurant though. After my past experience of waiting an hour and 40 minutes for chili's to-go at Shelton a few months ago (not even joking), I thought I would try one more time with Chili's to go. Huge mistake. I showed up at the exact time I was supposed to according to my online order. I waited over an hour than the estimated completion time. Stood for 40 minutes straight at the to-go counter. Was then told multiple times halfway through that my "order was being packaged up". I didn't know it took 25 minutes to package someones food??? I thought that's how long my original eta was! During the 40 minutes I was standing there, I could see how slow to-go orders were being put together. It was primarily one person (a few others occasionally helped, but mostly them) that was putting them together, and one order was being completed every 6-8 minutes. They were going so slow it took everything in me not to go back there and package the orders myself! The whole time, the phone being ignored as it was ringing off the hook, and online orders printing out of the receipt printer. You need twice as many staff during busy times, and ones that can keep up with the demand. Several other customers were waiting the same amount of time as me. For example, one customer's food was sitting at the counter for over 30 minutes to the point where that customer came in stating they had called over 20 minutes ago that they arrived at curbside and there food was just sitting there. AND they had three items missing! The most important part of all, don't have your online app tell someone to show up 20 minutes after ordering if it's going to take over 1 hour and 20 minutes to prepare their food. At least give me an accurate time then lying to me about my order progress the whole time I'm standing there, when I'm facing the counter where you're packaging the to-go orders. I saw when my order was actually packaged and labeled and it was minutes before it was handed to me, not the 25 minutes ago when they told me. Curbside delivery awful service and food result terrible, twice. I will not be here again. I ordered two burgers and a quesadila, waited 20 minutes past the time is was suppose to be ready. Called from car - no answer. I went inside and gave my name along with 6 or 7 others waiting. I could tell they were understaffed and unorganized. The phone was ringing and they were ignoring it. I went back to my car and waited another 20 minutes, still nothing. I went back inside and they finally "found my order". The food was cold, I mean really cold burgers and fries. Obviously it was sitting around for 20+ minutes and they didn't bother to bring it out. I had a very similar issue waiting the week before, however the food was edible then. This time it wasn't. I am not a person that complains but this was really, really bad service and I will not be back there again. They have a serious management problem and I don't think it's the kitchen. read more

Chili's is my all time favorite restaurant, however I had never been to this location until yesterday, 2/14/19 and it was awful. I had ordered my food on the app (which I love doing) and got the 2 for 25, got the chicken fajitas, chicken quesadillas, the half order of Texas cheese fries and cheesecake for dessert. The chicken for h fajitas tasted completely microwaved and rubbery. It was awful, later that night I discover I had food poisoning and was sick all night. Great food & prices! Service was okay, a little slow, but saw waitress was busy with other tables and that was why. I had steak fajitas while my wife had shrimp tacos. Steak fajitas were very good and good portion size. The shrimp tacos had too much coleslaw which was overpowering. Then we split a molten chocolate cake which was delicious! read more

Decided to go to chilli's in Milford a no kids night just my wife and I . I was going to have the too for twenty but instead I tried there new short rib faijitas very disappointing they were soggy and chewy the flavor was wasn't that great either the meal itself looked liked it was under the heat lamp way to long . it came out very dry looking although the service was quite good maybe next time I'll know better read more

I go to chillis alot and there Great. Food is great and the environment is awesome. Love there southwestern and buffalo wings.

The staff is friendly and there is usually no wait. The food is decent but it is entirely too greasy. I had to use 10+ napkins for a burger and fries. I would definitely recommend you eat in and not do take out though. The quality goes down if you get take out simply because it gets cold and soggy because of all the grease. I usually love going to Chili's . However today I did not like my experience . I am an Army service member and went in with my family . When seated I wasn't asked if anyone was a veteran and didn't receive the menu . My waiter came over about 15 minutes later and asked if we were ready to order however I didn't have the menu . I then asked if i can have the entrée menú for veterans . I was looking at the menu and referencing it with the Chili's menu when another waitress came over and tried to take the veterans menu then asked if i was using it . I told her yes and she walked away with an attitude . When the waiter came back over we were ordering . A person at the table wanted the 3 meat fajitas and the waiter told him that takes a long time to cook try something else . So we had to choose something different because he didn't want to have us order what we wanted . Meanwhile a table next to us got that same thing and it came out quickly mind you they came about 30 minutes after us . After taking the order my menus were still at the table and not taken . When we asked to add something he walked away and said I have to give my table their drinks . We had empty glasses on our table until we had to ask for soemthing else to drink . When we ordered our drinks he asked for ID and told one of us that his ID was fake and wasn't him because his picture was many years old ( his ID expires next year )... of course someone's appearance is going to change after 2009 .... Each time he came over i was trying to eat and he was asking me questions while I had food in my mouth . Then i was reviewing the bill at the table and the waiter came over asking if I wanted to pay already . I told him no and asked if i can have to go boxes and was told they only have 2 containers left .... Overall not happy about today's visit . Expecially for Veterans day . The wait staff and hostesses were very polite and accommodating to myself and the party of 4 accompanying me. The appetizer I would rate a 5 out of 10. The chips and queso dip were fine, but it seemed as if we had bottom of the bag chips that were all smashed and misshapen. Our order was taken relatively quickly, but our food took forever to reach us. It took 30-45 minutes for 4 of our orders to reach the table, one of our orders almost hit the floor, and our last order did not reach the table because our waitress forgot to put the order in. So we waited another 10 minutes for that. The food was alright but the wait time was unacceptable. And for that, they earned the one star that they have. read more

Service at the bar sucks.Michelle came and asked me what I wanted to drink. I said iced tea and ordered chips & salsa. Got the iced tea quick but then no chips. She came back and asked if I was ready to order. Said I'd like the chips first and would decide. 10 minutes later no chips. People who came in after me had their meal. She stopped by again to see if I was ready to order, I asked if she put in the order for the chips and she said she gets it... wtf I said close me out for the iced tea I'll go next door to Longhorn Steakhouse.. The tortilla chips are WAY TOO SALTY!!! When we asked for unsalted chips or lightly salted, we were informed that they just come pre packaged like that. Bummer. I like salt but it was ridiculous. DO NOT even bother to come here. After reading the other reviews for this place, I have to offer my negative review. My husband and I arrived on a Tiesday night at 7:30 and sat at the bar for a quick dinner. Got our drinks and ordered. A couple sat next to us about 10 minutes later, got their drinks, appetizers AND dinner while we were still waiting for our meal. We did not order appetizers. We spoke to the waitress and she checked in the kitchen. She told us it would be out in two minutes. They may have over-cooked the steak, she wasn't sure, but she would send the manager right over. We gave her five minutes and when no manager and no food arrived, we left. Obviously by the other reviews, this Chili's is so busy anyway that they really don't care if the service is good or not, and their manager can't be bothered. Maybe there is no manager! The waitress/bartender seemed overworked or just tired of being there. We will never go to this place again. read more

We were seated quickly and we waited longer than we would have liked to place our order/drinks. The drinks took at least 20 minutes (water and soda). Meanwhile other tables behind us were complaining to a manager that they had been waiting 30 minutes for appetizers. We ordered chips to hold our young kids (3 and 10 months) over and it was 30 minutes and still no sign of chips. CHIPS! By the time we got any food on the table, it was 50 minutes (we canceled the chip order after the 30 minute mark) and our 10 month old had had enough of sitting still. We overheard new customers coming into the restaurant asking about a wait and they were told 10 minutes rather than the truth of "the kitchen is taking longer than normal tonight so add another hour to that before you eat". And they substituted a side on my plate with something I would not have chosen and didn't inform me. The waitress and manager kept apologizing to the several upset tables but didn't rectify anything. I don't want things for free - i only want a bowl of tortilla chips to keep my hungry kids happy. We didn't have crazy expectations since it is Chilis after all, but this was the worst dining out experience we've had in years. read more

I'm a regular at Chili's so know the food is usually pretty good. I ordered green chicken enchaladas, having had it in the past. After taking my first bite I looked at the meat and it looked like no chicken I'd ever seen. I asked my companion what it looked like to her and after tasting it, agreed it was pork and not chicken. I called the waitress over to say that I think my order is wrong as it was pork and I ordered chicken, she replied "that is what our chicken looks like", not even apologizing or offering to correct the order. I wrote to Chili;s corporate headquarters stating what had happened and that I thought the customer service regarding this incident was lousy. A month has gone by and still no response from Chili's. I guess they don't care if they lose regular customers or not. Don't get me wrong, this was just one incident but it could cost Chili's customers if they don't correct this type of behavior from their wait staff. read more
