Sorry to all the kind people that work here, this 'review' has nothing to do with you all. But, I just don't feel safe going here anymore. When I pulled into the parking lot this evening there was a big pickup truck trying to play chicken with me, and I had to drive around to their left as though I was driving in London. After I park and go and sit down and order a drink, he comes in and proceeds to go off on me in front of everyone, telling ME I need to 'watch it'. I asked if he was threatening me and he told me I need to be careful. I even held out my hand and told him I don't know why he's so upset and told him I have no problem with him... then he walked out. He looked like he was drunk, and someone else at the bar even told me "I saw the whole thing".. One of the servers even apologized.. But damn, now I've gotta watch my back when I go here?!? I guess that means his business is more important than mine because I totally enjoyed coming here, and now will never be back. It was my chance to get out of the house, and sometimes I'd come here like 3 times in a week even! Everyone that works here has always been super nice. And it will finish cooking on my way home... That isn't true bc I always order this & it has never looked like this. All the food was cold & I only live 8 mins away. I was early to pick up my order also so how is the food cold & the meat also... I never have to tell them what temp to cook the steak either. Small piece of plastic on the second sip of the diet coke, not off to a great start. Margarita chicken came much to quickly, only 1/2 way done with the baked potato soup when it arrived. It was cooked, but cold. Concluded that it was not cooked fresh, but was previously cooked and poorly reheated. I expect better, even for the $10 pick three deal. The replacement plate was properly prepared and gave enough time to finish the soup. The old fashioned cheeseburger was ok, but was cooked a little less than medium well. It was too medium for me but I did not want to wait to have it redone. All-in-all, not a great night at Chili's; not nearly as good as they once were (years ago.). Somebody save this restaurant chain. I can't believe how bad it has gotten. I used to come here frequently because of the chicken crispers. For some reason, over the last 10-15 years, every Chili's forgot how to cook them. Now I go about once a year to see if the chicken crispers are good again and am disappointed every time. They should just revise the menu to call them chicken soggers because the ones I ordered the other day had the texture of a used condom. They also managed to make the french fries soggy somehow and you get about half as much as you used to. To top it all off, they give you a thimble of honey mustard to dip it in. Chili's continues to suffer from the same problems many chains have these days, they nickel and dime you so hard that you can't enjoy yourself. I'm sure management thinks that nobody will be bothered by the fried chicken that gets left under a lamp in a tepid pool of its own grease for 3 hours, or that the fries get pulled 2 minutes early from the fryer, or they can save $0.05 by reducing the condiment portions again. Well, people are gonna notice when you package it all together. Just raise the prices so the food can taste good again. Additionally, please wipe the menus down every few weeks so they aren't so greasy and sticky. Lastly, clean the previous slob's food off of the seat before you give us the table. read more

So, tonight I picked up a to-go order from this Chili's location. Part of the order was for a bottomless bowl of soup and a bottomless salad, which is supposed to include chips and salsa. However the person working the to-go counter clearly wasn't trained adequately on the menu. I asked her 3 times if she was sure that chips and salsa were extra, and she emphatically indicated that they were. When I got home I called and spoke to the manager because it bothered me. Mike's response was less than sufficient, in my opinion. In addition to the error regarding the free chips, they did not include salad dressing or dipping sauce for one of the entrees. There are few things more disappointing than getting home with a foulled up take out order and a canned service recovery response to it. We will think long and hard before we give this place another chance. read more

I've always loved Chili's but I'll never go back to this one. Probably the worst service I've had a national chain restaurant. The place was dead when we got there so we sat at the bar, I got a drink and my wife got water. 5-10 minutes later my wife decided on a cocktail and pushed the "contact server" button on their stupid table top tablet things. We were ignored for well over 10 minutes. We finally had to yell "excuse me!" at the bartender to get her attention. I repeat, the place was dead so there was no reason to wait that long. I ordered another drink and my empty glass from my first drink was never taken away the whole time we were there, yet our two unused appetizer plates were taken away before we even finished our app. I know that's not a huge deal but it's principal. We had to ask for EVERYTHING. Never did the bartender ask if we wanted to order food, or if we needed a refill. We weren't even given plates or napkins or silverware. Again, we had to ask for all of that stuff. That's day 1 stuff for any server. It took at least 5 minutes and one reminder from me every time I ordered another drink. I asked for a side of cheese and hot sauce, and got a side of lettuce. The bartender dumped our fries before we could get them in our to-go box. Oh yeah, then as we were leaving the bartender had the nerve to say something to the extent of "thanks for being patient, we're crazy busy". No, she was just lazy. Just flat out, horrible service. I don't expect to be treated like a celebrity, but with countless other places we could go and spend money, why would we want to go back after being treated so poorly? BONUS - Two guys that looked about our age sat down next to us and ordered beers, and the bartender said she had to have the manager check their I.D.'s. She was the one to check ours, that seemed odd... A few minutes later some old, mouth-breathing guy slowly lumbers over to them. If I could give this location zero stars I would. Stopped in for an appetizer on 5/1/21 and a few drinks. We sat at the bar ordered an appetizer found the chicken crispers were not done let the bar tender know, she replaced them with under cooked chicken crispers a second time. I ordered a second drink after being ignored for an extended period of time. Only to not receive the second drink requested and was asked "are they pink?" No they weren't pink. They were under cooked, chewy, and had a milky appearance which is not cooked properly. I have been to numerous restaurants ordered chicken, chicken strips, or chicken tenders which have never been "chewy", glistening and under cooked. We requested to speak with the manager who indicated the chicken crispers can be chewy. This indicates to me they do not prepare your food fresh and precook the food placing the food into a warmer and serving the food as ordered like a fast food restaurant. I didn't even eat them I spilt it opened only to find they were not done a second time. The bar tender continued to ignore us and give us an attitude, as if she did not want us to sit at the bar or it was an inconvenience for additional patrons to be seated in her area. We had to request to speak to a manager, who of course received the brunt of me being upset about the fact our food was not cooked correctly and being upset at the aspect that we were treated like shit. I typically will tip more than 15% because of the current pandemic, Covid-19, and the fact that servers are not treated well all around. But this time I gave zero tip and although the manager didn't charge us for the appetizer we ordered I will never return to this location as we were treated like crap, the service was terrible, the food was less than acceptable, and I felt like as a patron to this business we were an inconvenience to be served. I recommend anyone who is looking for an appetizer or quick drink to go across the street to Buffalo Wild Wings the servers there really care about the patrons and make sure the food is properly cooked. I would recommend going anywhere else that will treat a customer like they should be treated. This isn't the first time recently that we have been to this location and treated like crap with terrible food quality. I will never return to this location due to the poor service lack of fresh cooked food and overall terrible conditions. The staff was more concerned with serving the usual patrons then making sure someone has edible food and a good experience, especially after being told the food was not cooked. Please spare yourself from going to this restaurant because you will be treated terribly and the food quality is terrible. I would have thought with everything going on the staff would be happy to be working and making money, not here they don't care about you, your family, or the experience you may or may not have. I will never return to another Chillis location again. I would rather starve than eat crappy under cooked food and be treated like shit than go to another Chillis location. Had the steak fajitas and the steak was like chewing rubber. I called and explained to the manager Kevin, who was very nice what the problem was and I told him I would bring back the rest of the uneaten meal but not that particular day. Really bad experience. This is my best friend and I's spot, we come here all the time but the service was really bad from our server. We were just told to sit down and we came up to us like "are you good" or something for us to order. We had ordered, got chips and salsa, and my friend got a soup. I am actually sad about this review. We were off to dinner on a Friday night and Buffalo Wild Wings was our first choice. We got there.. it was packed, young kids working were slow and disrespectful so we walked out. I said "Let's do Chili's! I peaked my head in the kitchen area and what looked like a manager came right out to wipe it.. ok.. it'll still be fine.. but, once we order drinks, my husband asks for a fruit water which is pictured on the menu.. the guy comes back with our drinks and leaves is with one straw to share between us.. once my husband gets to taste it.. it was some sort of sugary fruit drink. He asked the waiter about it, and his response was "oh.. I couldn't find that stuff.. so this Minute Maid was the closest thing" we order chips and salsa .. some chicken, and a salad.. after the chips are gone he brings some more and says "foods almost ready"... ONE HOUR after we ordered (chicken and a salad) the food comes.. he drops it on the table and leaves.. (without silverware) we try and stop another waiter but he was busy with his tables. Finally we get ! I ask if I can also get some avocados because the menu states they were on the salad.. finally he brings me the brownest avocado I ever saw.. and quickly walks away.. This Chili's has gone from amazing, to awful, to good since this restaurant as opened up years ago. I went to this location a few nights ago with two of my friends. The service was great. Our waiter was amazing and helped us with all of our questions we had about the food. Not once it seemed like we were on their nerves. I have consumed many dishes from the this location and the burgers have ranked supreme for the time being. An adult meal with a tall Blue Moon was around 19 bucks. To me that is a good price for this food quality. So why is it not a 5 star review? Because the management has changed a lot over the years and sometimes you can have a bad experience. Togo orders backed up 2+ hours after the time when they should have been available. Traffic backing up into the street by a very busy intersection, I almost got into an accident trying to enter the parking lot. It's 40° outside and some people have been standing outside waiting for hours. I understand the Mother's Day rush but I don't understand how this location is being so mismanaged. The only option I was given was to either cancel my order (this was my moms Mother's Day dinner) or wait. I chose to wait and when I asked an approximation of how long I would be waiting they didn't have any sort of a solid answer basically up in the air could be 1-2 hours or more. If the restaurant is this backed up why tell us our order will be ready in 30 minutes; instead they should be upfront and realistic to avoid this exact situation. I won't be coming back to this location and by the looks of all the angry customers canceling their order in a rage, I don't think they will be back either. Now is not the time for business to act all high and mighty. They have been closed up due to COVID-19 (IL) you would think they would be trying to get as many order out and satisfied customers as possible. So instead of this restaurant next time place an order at one of our many fabulous local family owned establishments. Like other reviewers, I must state the obvious in that the service is just awful. Our dishes were never bussed from the table and every drink refill required us to ask specifically for it. Ordered cheese fries with no jalapeño; fries came with jalapeño and even when this error was pointed out, no apology was offered.
