Dirty and awfully maintained restaurant, server was overwhelmed with too may tables. Took over 30 minutes to get drinks for entire table, even longer for straws and napkins. Burgers were over done while bacon ranch quesadillas were undercooked. Best part was two chocolate milks served with curdled milk with the servers fingers inside the cups. Stopped here during a road trip from Zion to Las Vegas. I haven't been to a Chili's in many years, but was pleasantly surprised by my experience. There is a fantastic 3 for $25 deal (app, two entrees, and dessert) and 2 for $10 (soup and entree) deal that was a ton of great food and quite the deal! We ordered the Texas cheese fries, bacon burger, mango chicken, steak, potato soup, and best of all, the cookie skillet! It was more than enough for my family of four, a 3 course meal for us all, less than $10/person, and everything tasted great! Service was fast and frequently came back to check up on us and respond to missing items as well (which is expected for a Chili's haha). Recommend! read more

Ok so to start this off THANK GOD i didnt eat from here i just went to pick up my besties food....She ordered through the app and I curbside picked it up...It was made in a proper time frame and they sent out a cute lil thang to hand it to me...The only reason i dropped 3 stars was simply because i had to go back because they forgot the MAIN DAMN DISH! I had to come back down the hill walk in and the lil joint see me and say "Omg did we forget your pasta"..... YOU KNOW DAMN WELL YALL DID! She grabbed it and handed it over...I have this working theory that she lowkey knew i was gunna come back n she just wanted to see me again but was shy to ask me to return or she just a dummy either way wasted my time so i took 2 stars hostage until my next visit! read more

The cute little old lady waitress deserves a retirement bonus. Wow, everyone come to Chilis and visit her for the best dinner of your life. Please tip her and ask to be seated in her section. I ordered a to go order two weeks before my pick up time. I placed the order online. When I arrived to pick up the order, at the promised time, I was told that they were not doing party platters that night despite the fact that I had an order already placed and people waiting to eat. Upon hearing this, I asked to speak with the manager who identified himself as Ryan. I explained that we had an order already placed and he said, "Yeah, I cancelled all party platters for tonight". We never got a cancellation, a phone call, e-mail nothing. When I told the manager that we never received any confirmation, his response was "I don't care." I am quitting tomorrow and I just don't care. He then turned and walked away and would not come out and talk with us again. It was the worst customer experience that I have had at any business, ever. This person has no business working in a customer service oriented business. We were left with no options but to find food elsewhere at the last minute which was not easy. My friend and I decided to have lunch here while visiting St. George, Utah. Sadly, we were both very disappointed with our server, Justin. When he came to the table he was wearing a face masked but as soon as he walked away to another table he pulled his mask down below his chin and had a long conversation with a couple (also not wearing masks) about how he hated wearing a mask and bragged that he had worked a 14 hour shift the day before and didn't wear a masked the whole shift. He said he had gotten in trouble with his manager before for not wearing a mask. Both my friend and I found his conversation and attitude disrespectful and upsetting. When he came back to our table we told him how his conversation made us fill and he wasn't very apologetic and got a little defensive. He made us wonder if the kitchen staff was wearing masks. He told us they were, but we had our doubts. After our conversation with him, he never came back to our table and had another server bring us our bill. Rest assured, neither of us will eat at the Chili's in St. George, Utah again. Justin, you should wear your mask no matter what to protect others and show respect to the 400,000 plus that have lost their lives to this horrible disease. read more

Gus and Madde were EXCELLENT servers. Very friendly and fast. My daughter and I ordered tortilla chips with salsa, guacamole and white queso spinach dip; southwestern egg rolls, yummy bacon sliders, fried cheese, macaroni and cheese, and spinach. Everything was delicious. Tre first booth where the hostess tried to seat us was dirty, so we changed. The bathroom want super clean either. We got right in for an early dinner in a Wednesday. We were asked to wait when the restaurant wasn't even close to full or busy. There were many dirty tables that sat dirty the entire time we were there. Our food came out cold and I saw at least two other tables send their food back. My wife and I usually have great experiences when visiting a Chili's, but tonight we were let down. The wait time was understandable, given the current state of everything, so that wasn't a big deal. Once we were seated we were given one menu, again not a huge deal, just part of the environment. We had both ordered steaks with loaded mashed potatoes as our sides, part of the 2 dine for $25 deal they have. After about ten minutes they said they ran out of the loaded mashed potatoes so we substituted with salads and fries. The salad came after we had gotten our steaks, which was kind of weird to us, but we ate them anyways. About 15 minutes after we had finished our meal, my wife and I were just chatting, the server came up and asked if we had our method of payment ready, so we scrambled and pulled out our debit card. At that point we were waiting for our dessert that came with the meal deal we paid for. Not surprisingly, we waited another 15 minutes and never got our dessert. So we just got up and left a very minimal tip. While walking out, our server, who was just sitting at an empty table bundling silverware asked if we had gotten our dessert, which I bluntly said no, and said it wasn't worth "looking into it", since we thought she was supposed to be on top of it from the get go. Now don't get me wrong I get restaurants are getting re-acclimated to having guests dine in, but I just feel they really dropped the ball overall. I usually always have amazing and great service but I can not say the same for today. My boyfriend and I always come in to chilis after our shift with the time being around 45-30 min before they are closing and always get seated right away. We got there at 10:20 and waited up until 10:37 weren't acknowledged nor talked to which wouldn't be a big deal except there were five people that walked out from the back to come and sing happy birthday to a table made eye contact with us and didn't have the decency to come and seat or talk to us and just ran back into the kitchen. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in this situation especially for how often I come here. read more

If your website says that you can join an online waitlist, it would be super helpful if an online waitlist was available. I thought it was just that my phone wasn't working but I called and apparently you can't get on a waitlist at all before you get there. Chili's food is consistent, although I do not like their new paired down menu as some of my favorite options are gone, but this review is about the service at this particular location. Our waitress, to be fair, was attentive...but they put us by ourselves over by the windows away from any other patrons and where staff could be heard having kitchen conversations and were prepping for later service. It was the kitchen conversations and being seated away from other patrons that annoyed me. I don't understand why eating with a kid means you should be ostracized! read more

Yet another casualty of COVID-19! After several years of travel through St George Utah and stopping here for a burger and a beer the eminent demise of this establishment is near. The staffing shortage and lack of training was unbelievable! I am surprised they can open even with the abbreviated hours they are using. Our server and busser did all they could to give us al least a pleasurable experience. Our server was at our table in good time and took our order promptly. As we waited and waited for our dinner to arrive we watched two different tables send their food back to the kitchen. We watched 2 tables get up and leave as no one had greeted them. We then watched 3 tables that had arrived after we had placed our order receive their food. Again our server was the only bright point in our experience! He kept us up to date and apologized for our food taking so along. Now the food, a "famous Chili's chili burger", and their "Big Mouth Bites" (4 sliders). The bun was cold, the burger was cooked correctly, and as far as the chili, is was cold and almost nonexistent. Now the sliders, or as we called them "approaching hockey puck status." Severely overcooked and very very dry. A ton of Mayo and ketchup made them somewhat edible. The buns must have set out quite a while as they were dry and crusty on the outside. Oh yeah, the fries were nice and hot and cooked well. Obviously the kitchen is in need of some serious help if this place is to survive. With all of the issues the hospitality industry is facing our expectations we're not high, just a good burger and a beer. It just didn't happen. Oh..the beer was very good. read more

The kid's meal was missing. I called and spoke to a To Go girl and she was hard to understand because she coughed incessantly and said she was choking on some food. She told me that I had to return to pick up the missing item if I wanted. I told her since it was Chili's fault, they should deliver the item to my home. She said they didn't have anyone available and I would have to call Door Dash and pay them to deliver it. REALLY???? So very unprofessional. No offer of anything else. No care that the meal was ruined by the missing item. The fajita dinner was not hot, beans and rice were cold. I tried calling again to speak to a manager and put on hold. No one answered, so I finally hung up. I'm not used to being treated without care when I'm a paying customer. There are a lot more restaurants in St. George and Washington that will love my business! We get here at at 6:45pm and are told it's a 30 minute wait. It's a Saturday so it's expected to be busy. We wait 30 minutes all the while there are at least 7 tables open that you can see from the front area. We wait the full 30 mins and check with the hostess to check the status and we are apparently still 4th in line. We then were told by the hostess that "the manger just told us to tell everyone it's going to be an additional 30 minute wait for everyone who is already in line." Still 7 tables open if not more at this point. Just as "Bill W" said in another review, be honest and add 30 minutes to whatever they tell you. read more

This place was clean and the service was attentive. However even though the portions of food were large, one could only wish that they concentrate more on the quality and taste than the quantity. Waited over an hour for a party of 11 when I went in to check on what was happening I was told that we were going to be seated as soon as a table was done eating and they hadn't even got there food yet. Haven't eaten here in maybe a decade so when my husband suggested it, I was hesitant . I was very pleasantly surprised with the Alex's hamburger and side of perfectly steamed broccoli. As well, my husbands shrimp tacos and steamed asparagus were delicious . Only suggestion...less salt & pepper on the asparagus . Otherwise really good food. Chili's menu is somewhat limited, but I a glad they have the "Guiltless" healthy options--saves enough calories to have a beer! I was a bit surprised and concerned that they scan your driver's license when ordering alcohol. So they now have my driver's license #, address, DOB, and credit card! Pretty much one of the few corporate Tex Mex chains that serves good food. They generally have good service and value propositions. Just be sure to call ahead if considering peak times. They make a good rib eye, fajitas, and ribs. Ther is more than that --- these are just the ones we are aware of. People like the chocolate chip cookie served in a cast iron pan with a big scoop of ice cream too. read more

Wow. I had no idea I would be writing this good of a review of a local chili's, yet here I am. Our experience at this chili's was probably the best we've had in a long time. Not only was our server, Gus, amazing, bringing us various lemonades to try and never forgetting to refill our drinks, the food that came out was fresh and straight out of the window. What I got was boiled ribs, that had been thrown on the grill or sat long enough to have turned into essentially pork jerky, a very minimal amount of sauce that was runny and flavorless, and corn on the cob that had obviously been boiling in the pot for at least 12 hours, mushy and flavorless. However at least the french fries were okay. Not bad for 20 bucks, not!!! While taking our order, the server (she) stood there yawning. 5 of us at the table all looked at each other like... are you seeing what I'm seeing? She never came by to check on drinks. We ordered some chips and salsa. Her comment was, " we don't have any". Didn't try to offer an alternative or anything. The food at Chili's is usually pretty consistent across the US, but this was awful. My wife's salad had chicken which was all grizzle. She couldn't even eat it. College kids... hey they didn't care if their food was bad, they were just happy someone else was paying. I won't even take the time to talk about the Margarita I ordered. Love this spot the margaritas are excellent and the food is awesome great atmosphere and awesome service our server was a great guy however there was a helper that was just to high and seriously confused and disruptive our server was great but he and manager should have sent the kid/helper home and should not have let him out on the floor with customers to engage with or even see him in that condition it was ridiculous but still one of my favorite spots in town just hope I don't have to deal with that helper again and no one should like I said the place is a great spot service is even great just that helper was ridiculous and made no sense that he was allowed to be there let alone out on the floor with customers what an idiot read more

I usually use St. George as my base for visiting various state and national parks in Utah. This Chili's location has a ton of parking which is always a plus. Plus, I find that their takeout is one of the best I've ever experienced with a Chili's chain. read more
