Typically with chain restaurants you know what to expect. Last night I was totally caught off guard. Poor food and service was not what I expected. I have eaten here before with no issue. Perhaps they have a new manager that has let the standard drop. I ordered a ribs and brisket combo. The brisket was about the size of three strips of bacon and rubbery. The ribs lacked flavor and texture. It was almost like they boiled them then put them on a grill to char them. The server was not into her job and was totally disconnected from us. She never stopped by to see how our food was and I had to order a refill on my drink from the hostess. The manager on duty spent about 20 minutes talking to the people in the booth next to us. Never looked our way once just rambled on about what she liked and didn't like on the menu. The table had a server so I'm guessing she knew the people. On the floor next to our booth were paper napkins. They where there when we got there and still there when we left. We watched as the staff walked over the trash throughout our meal. Bad, Bad, Bad! We used to love Chili's, but now we're just chilled. This was our first time at this location (and last). Arriving for lunch at 1:30, the place was empty, only 2 people over in the bar. And the restaurant stunk like an old, dirty bar. We should have taken the hint and fled, but no! We started with Buffalo Wings, specifically requesting well done and crispy. They arrived raw. Raw! And no attentive server to talk to! Raw! The entrees were almost inedible, and we couldn't finish either. I can't say more or I might get sick. And, finally, their new idiotic billing feature at each table malfunctioned and we'll probably be charged twice! Next time, In 'n Out Burger is just down the street. I'll see you there. read more

Zero should be an option. Came at 1:15 on Friday 7/17. Our waiter, Omar, was training a waitress and "team serving us". We ordered right away, got drinks - ordered messed up, and then sat there for over 1/2 hour waiting for chicken strips and a burger. No one came by our table. We finally left without getting our food. No one said a word as we left. As I type this review, I am enjoying a delicious cheeseburger next door at Cronies'. What a difference. read more

No one ever chooses to go to Chili's; you just kinda end up at Chili's. We got done with a night hike on Father's day about 930 and realized nothing was really open at that time on a Sunday. Since Chili's was open late and we were hungry we ended up here. The food was just okay nothing fantastic but not terrible. The only thing that annoyed us was when we got there no one greeted us. I'm not being a queen or anything I mean like no one was there to seat us; we could see a few people seated around and a few busboy's but no one else. We then started checking for the time hours of operation (which was not posted I might add) thinking we had read the hours wrong. After about 5 minutes, my dad finally asked a bus boy who found someone to seat us. It was all a very weird disappointing experience. read more

Horrible management skills. Pre-school fundraiser, planed and expected. Hosted was overwhelmed, alone and needed help. Pre-school children wanted to sit and visit. 10 tables and booths open and unable to sit guests and take names alone. Brought to mangers attention, no care no relation. Only cared about bar crowd drinking and watching game. Business more concerned about adults buying beer and wings than a family moment to raise some funds for local children. Great food come for take it order at least 2 times a month. Only downfall I have is that too go order is never ready when they say it will be and you are left standing there waiting for an employee to talk to you or find your order. As long as you are not in a hurry great spot read more

One of my favorite eating place.... It's cheap and food was always good.... Skillet mashed potatoes, chicken quesadilla, loaded boneless chicken wings, Texas cheese fries and molten chocolate cake are the best items here.... read more

I love Chili's. Something about those yummy appetizers keeps me coming back over and over. Every store is pretty much the same, which is a good thing. I can hit any Chili's in Cali and have the same delicious food. I have yet to be totally wowed though. The service is usually decent. I don't have to wait long for refills. But there just seems to be something missing to get to five stars. I can't quite put my finger on it. I kind of feel like just another dollar when I walk in, not a welcomed guest. I'm not sure how to fix this, and it's not terrible. It does keep me from wanting to give five stars though. I will keep coming back. I am a life long fan of chilis. Love there classic nachos and black bean burger. I am NOT a fan of the service in this location. Consistently horrible unless I get a server named Candice. She's always nice and on top of the orders. Today had probably the worst service ever. Ordered a salad VEGGIES only. It came loaded with cheese and croutons so I sent back. Friends turkey sandwich was incorrect also. I lifted my soup bowl up to take my last spoonful and Anna our waitress snatched my plate away that my soup was sitting on. Did not ask just took. The bill was brought before the complete was brought out to us. This Chilis really needs to step up their training of servers. read more

Went here for the third time and had a long wait only to be greeted by a waiter with an attitude. First time he approached our table he forgot his notepad. Turned around and scratched his bum. When he returned is asked him if the food was going to take as long as it already had ( we were sitting about 15 minutes before he came over.) he said he didn't know but seemed bothered by us being there. I'm not into reviewing chains but I had a better than normal chili's experience and this place seems to lagging in the star category so I'm doing my part. I'm generic at Chili's. Chips and salsa to start and mushroom swiss burger (Always) with no salt on the fries or the burger. Its not hard but some places screw it up. The bun is buttered, so plenty of flavor, the mayo packs a punch of flavor but that is just because the fat reading is off the charts and the mushroom saute is salty in itself so I want the salt to bring out the flavor of the meat and mushroom not have me taste salt or spend the next 3 hrs drinking water to hydrate myself at the cellular level. This doesn't even speak for the chips and salsa that are fundamentally salty. To make a short story long, that's why I order no salt on my burger or fries...I get plenty every other way. The chips were super fresh as in the oil could have burnt my mouth. They were thin and tasty and salsa was spicier. Sometimes if you are lucky the salsa will be on the spicier side, no one can control the individual heat of a pepper so hopefully you get it hot. My burger was cooked perfect, I can't remember if they asked. I know in some locations chili's will only cook it medium well for liability reasons. Which means they dry it out to be safe. Mine was juicy and medium which again was perfect for me. My fries had salt on them but they brought me a whole side of ones without and she apologized numerous times. The server was always on top of things with drinks and even brought extra salsa when she saw us mowing through it. I feel like almost never do you get extra salsa unless you ask for it and equally never will you have two salsa bowls on the table...well we we're rocking 2 bowls. Going back to the host, he was legitimately friendly and not the Gap style "hi, how you doing?" He stayed and chatted at our table and came back and made a joke after awhile. All I can say is he had mushroom hair, it may make no sense until you see his helmet head!!!! read more

That was the worst service to round out oa mediocre meal. Avoiding eye contact with your customers, not offering refills or an additional drinks, cleaning and bussin empty tables rather than checking in with the table of two people who have already spent $60. And when it came time to pay, we had to flag you down, and then you pointed to the iPad on the table that we could do ourselves... And then when it didn't work and it said to contact the server, and wecouldn't find anybody. Yeah you lost your tip and a customer... I won't be back. Typical chilis. Never bad. Never memorable. But I come here just the same. The only downside here is that the kitchen doesn't seem to understand doneness. So if you ordered a particular level (e.g. well-done) be prepared to send it back to the kitchen or check it before you take it to go read more

The service was slow at the start and the waitress kept telling us she would be with us, it was about ten minutes before she finally got to us, she apologized for being busy. Once she started with us she was great, the service was very good and delivered properly, the food was good and she ended up being better than most of the wait people there. The main problem at the restaurant was the extremely loud music, and it would vary a lot from normal to blasting, it was so noisy that it was uncomfortable and probably destroyed my ear drums. I guess my only recourse is to send them the bill for my hearing aids. read more

I've come to town Friday night on a school bus with 45 high school debaters. I called hoping somehow I might be able to get them all fed. I thought for sure they would laugh at me; but instead the manager said, "Let's see what we can do, we want you to join us tonight." They were superbly accommodating and immediately jumped to support my large party and our special needs. With just a couple hours notice, we arranged a limited menu of five excellent choices; from healthy to comfort. Prices were perfect for my limited budget and the food was amazing. When we arrived, they quickly seated all 50 of us and started taking orders. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient and they remained attentive to our large party throughout the evening. My compliments to the kitchen for getting everything out in a timely fashion and pretty close to all 50 of us at the same time! Though last minute, it was an excellent experience. read more

We were seated immediately, but it took a while for our server to greet us and take our order. Our food came out pretty quickly, but that was about the last good part of our dining experience. I asked for no meat and no beans on my meal, it came back loaded with meat. It took about 20 minutes to even get our servers attention to correct my meal. The server then goes on to say he comped my first meal since it was his fault (so I would only be paying for my meal once instead of twice). That should be industry standards. I would never expect to pay for a meal taken back to the kitchen and then for the meal they remade when they messed it up in the first place. It then took about another 20 minutes to get my food while everyone else in my group was done eating. We were waiting for refills, and the manager walked by to take our empty plates and did not notice we needed refills. After that were never checked on again, but saw the server attending to other tables multiple times. Poor service all around. read more

Took my wife to Chilis this afternoon for lunch. We haven't been in a very long time and were in the area so decided to give it a go. We got there 11:10. The place was empty. The only person to be seen was the bartender. She came and greeted us, asked where we would like to sit, and sat us. She was friendly and on top of her game. She was the only one we saw working. She greeted about 5 other groups of people and sat them, in the 30 minutes we were there. She was also taking all their orders, checking back on these tables, stocking/ cleaning her bar and running food and re filling drinks. She was great! I didn't get her name but she was the best part of our experience. The food on the other hand was mediocre. We got some appetizers and a turkey sandwich. Queso Skillet is always awesome! read more

Zero stars!!!! We got food poisoning from this Chili's!! My boyfriend and I decided to stop in on our way home from the beach. We ordered an app to share and a full rack of baby back ribs. We ate the app first and I was fortunate enough not to be very hungry afterwards. Unfortunately for my date, he ate half of the rack. As soon as he tried them he said, "these taste reheated." I tired one bite for taste. They were very fatty but we didn't think anything of it because they are ribs and it is a chain restaurant. A couple hours later he was BRUTALLY sick. Full force flu symptoms. I later got some of the same symptoms from one bite!! Do not eat here and whatever you do, do not eat any meat from this location!! read more

Yikes, where do we begin. The food here is usually decent WHEN it comes out right, but the service is horrendous. The employees who work in the bar are actually pretty nice, and they do their jobs very well, but in my experience, the employees who work on the other side of the restaurant are awful. A few weeks back on a Tuesday night, they sat us near the kitchen upon our request since they had originally sat us at a tiny table that seemed to have been made for a hobbit, while there were many booths available. We asked for a booth, and they put us at one right outside the kitchen, which would have been great, if it were not for being able to hear our waitress bad mouthing customers, cursing, and texting on her phone constantly (there's a mirror outside the kitchen and you can see what is going on inside). The manager of the restaurant was sitting having her dinner right next to us, and she must have seen, or heard her employee's behavior, but just sat there doing nothing! On top of this, our waitress didn't bring the appetizer we ordered, and NEVER came back over to check on us. Someone else brought the food, and he ran away so quickly we didn't have a chance to mention the missing appetizer. We never saw our waitress, or anyone else again. We paid our bill, and tipped 50 cents to hopefully make a point to the waitress. She was awful, and we've had her several times, and she has always been awful. Last night, our waitress was great, but our food came out wrong, and when we sent it back it was apparent that they simply scraped the unwanted chicken off my husband's nachos and gave them back to him. The chips were mushy, and broken into pieces. My food was good, no complaints there. I had a hamburger, and I enjoyed it very much. My husband usually loves the classic nachos, but they were so cold, and mushy by the time they took the meat off, he only ate two and was no longer very hungry. We have had issues here countless times, and I will not go through each story, but just know that if you go here you will either get the wrong order, wait a ridiculously long time to order and/or get your food, or you may never see your waitress after ordering (so if you need a refill, a box, or anything else, you should be prepared to be very disappointed), you may actually experience all of the above in one trip! We are done with this place, it is terrible. One last story....I can not remember which waitress it was, but one time not long ago, we saw the waitress take a sip of her customers drink from the bar before she brought it to the table! She and the bartender were giggling about it as she took a sip and the bartender refilled the drink! I could not believe my eyes.... read more
