Why aren't negative stars an option?? We went in on Super bowl Sunday and again a few days later (after being reassured by the manager) that the HORRIBLE Sunday visit was a fluke. Sad to say no it wasn't. This place severely lacks direction from the management down to the wait staff. I've had bad service before but this place definitely has HORRIBLE service. I don't recommend going here unless you like waiting forever, having to ask multiple times for simple things like silverware and oh ya having the food taste like it was prepared 3 days ago. read more

We waited a 1/2 an hour for soup & salad... If you have loads of time this might be a place to hang

No one bothered to greet us and we waited about fifteen minutes so we went and sat in the bar area. Took the waiter twenty minutes to get our drink order, and another twenty to get our drinks, which were incorrect. Chicken was undercooked and greasy. Salad was limpy. Service was extremely slow, they tried to soothe us over with free queso dip but that itself took forever. We were in a large party so I understand things taking longer but the whole dinner took about 3 hours which is unacceptable. The food was good though, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. read more

Now I know why I don't go to Chili's, food is sub-par, but the service is good. Ordered the steakhouse combo with ribs, which was $2 extra. Ribs were so dry and over cooked, it was like eating jerky on a bone. That's why they give you 2 tubs of bbq sauce, to drown it in. Jalapeño and cheese sausage had no heat at all. Corn on the cob was warm on the ends but cold in the middle. My wife ordered the Cajun chicken pasta. She said it tasted like a frozen dinner. read more

We come to this Chili's often. We've always received great, friendly service and always feel welcomed! My favorites are their Tex-Amex Tacos, I've tried many of their other great menu options including ribs, burgers, enchilada-style burritos and more! Saturday August 27th 2016 8:20pm Horrible service. I'm a very patient person & I was enjoying the conversation with my girlfriend so I didn't mind the wait... at first. We were "assured" by the staff speeding by us that someone would be right with us. After a while a gentleman, who I assume was the manager, stopped at our table to take our drink orders. We told him we'd be having the $35 dollar dinner for 2 which included margaritas. 10 minutes later no drinks. We asked an employee walking by for water and 10 minutes later we got our water but still no margaritas. At this point we figured that if we left we could go somewhere else and have dinner before we'd even get to the point of ordering our meal here. We stood up and proceeded to leave, walking by the hostess stand where the manager and two other employees were standing around talking amongst themselves. The manager saw us walking out and made a sad attempt to keep us from leaving. No wonder why this Chili's has such bad reviews on here. read more

This place is the worst, I have been waiting here for food for over an hour. I have diabetes and almost went into a coma because of the wait. Ate here on Father's Day, 2018. Expected a long wait, but the booth we wanted was available, and we were promptly seated. Ordered, with the drinks, an appetizer. Wait staff (name preserved so that possibly that person may improve their customer service without being devastated) took a look at me (the person ordering the appetizer) and asked whether that would be an appetizer or my entree(!). I can't say as I have ever been asked that question before, and if indeed, it were to be an entree, what business would it be of theirs? After recovering from that misstep, the drinks arrived. Mine had been ordered with a wedge of lemon. The 'wedge' turned out to be 1/2 the size an actual wedge should be. Oh, well... Their menu now includes the entrees they started their restaurant with back in 1975 (background music is approximately that era, as well). They have chili tacos, etc., on that menu. I ordered a healthy dish, their grilled mango chicken. It comes with broccoli and mexican rice. I asked if I could have something other than broccoli. Oh, yeah. I can have any of the other side dishes listed (some with an additional charge, like the grilled asparagus for an extra $1.00--I'm worth it) so I went for that. The appetizer arrived approx. 15 mins. after the drinks, and the entrees 10 min. after that. Not perfect timing, but I've seen worse. My entree was very delicious, loved it! The tacos were definitely with chili and, along with all of the other toppings, were difficult to eat without them falling apart. Chips were as expected from Chilis: greasy and improperly cooked. The other food was A-OK, and that is the only reason this place gets 3 stars. The service was spotty, at best. When it came time for payment, the wait staff suggested paying wirelessly (cause the manager wants them to get the customers to do it that way). Really?? I don't think so! I know I'm old school, but wireless connections are not the same as hardwired and may easily be hacked. "No, I don't think so," I replied. I'd rather pay the traditional way. Well, that caused some consternation and rather insulting words, suggesting an uneducated customer didn't really know what they were talking about. Will I return to this location? As we sat down next to the kitchen I heard someone yell "why you sticking me with all the two tops tonight" and the server walked right over basically in mid-yell to great us. I am a server and understand the kitchen talk but yeah... not a great first impression... slow to get food, and never saw him again... luckily the manager came over by the time we needed a box. read more

Beyond terrible! We went in for lunch, & waited so long, ended up eating dinner. And it was terrible! My soup was Luke warm, my salad had frozen tomatoes, my husbands burger was raw in the middle, my fathers salad had cold fried chicken, we waited an hour for our food! The only thing they didn't screw up was the chips & salsa. Last time we were here we had a similar bad experience, but I thought we'd try it again. What a waste of money. Hubby and I went here the other night and we were completely inundated by salt on our chips and salsa. The margaritas were okay as always. The Reese's lava cake thing was delicious. Our waitress was very funny and nice. However, only 3 stars because of the excessive salt and they have these new kiosks that take up a lot of room on a two person table. It is nice so you can order drinks and dessert without waiting for your waitress which is convenient if you remember, but not when it is taking up precious table space. read more

Jennifer was a terrible sever. She came to our table maybe 3 times. Wasn't aware when we were out of water and it was obvious she didn't care about giving good service. When this was brought to her attention she became even more rude. We had 2 checks and on 1 we requested change. She brought the change back in all coins. Worst Service in Decades....Walked out. Thought about going here all day long for a quiet nice meal with a margarita. Went early for 5pm on a Monday yet. Fought the traffic. Got seated immediately as there weren't many people. Noted the loud music - the best part of it was the silence between songs. There was a waiter for about 15 tables and there was only one other table besides myself. I was starved and wanted to place my order for the drink as well as the entree. The waiter never acknowledged me, came by, etc. After 15 mins or so, I gave up, handled my menu to the hostess and told her why I was leaving. I went back to my hotel room and warmed up a previous Mediterranean dinner that I had had at a really good restaurant. Unfortunately, I have a gift card (about 3 years old now) and I will either have to give it away, throw it away, or maybe find a Chili's that knows how to treat customers, service, etc. Hopefully, that wouldn't be asking too much. Do not waste your time in this location. Food was horrible. My daughter had a black hair in her mashed potatoes and the manager apologized but did nothing about it but remove her meal. Service was mediocre and we had to ask a couple times for the same items. Food was overall greasy and not cooked the way we ordered it. We will not return. read more

Service is the worst ever. Waiters pretend they don't hear you . When you change something they get upset ?! What kind of service is this? worse service i have ever had at a chili's, we went about a month or so ago. our waitress was a grouchy old hag that acted like she was pissed because she had to work. our food was half ass warm, she never came back to check on us for chips and salsa or got us another drink. management was no where to be found. this was at like 3-4 in the afternoon and there was like a total of 4 people there and not busy as all. i was like WTF is wrong with this place! avoid this place at all cost! read more

Pleasantly surprised with Chili's as I am a food snob and don't frequent chains too often. They custom made my margaritas with no sweet and sour (at no upcharge). Also when they realized they had overcooked my steak they quickly offered to recook it to perfection and brought me a whole new plate. The manager seems to really care. read more

We live nearby, and thus often visit this establishment, but after too many bad experiences, I must share my concerns. While the food is not stellar (it is what it is), the service is absolutely terrible. Every time. The restaurant is clearly understaffed and not trained adequately. Here's the typical dinner here: we often show up and have to try to hunt down a hostess. Since they usually have 2-3, I don't get why this is so hard. We are seated at a dirty table. The hostess says our server will be by shortly. We wait for almost 10 minutes and then get the five-star question "have you been helped yet?" They apparently don't know if they have helped us? The server asks for our drink order, and also mentions that they assign TWO waitresses per table. That's their thing here. Be prepared to repeat yourself to two people every time. Shortly after, server #2 comes by and asks for our drinks. We say we already ordered. Server #1 does not come back with the drinks. Server #2 asks if we are ready to order. Where are the drinks? Server #2 doesn't know and wants to re-take the drink order. Server #1 then comes back with the drinks. The same trend continues with appetizers and entrees. At the end of the night, we have to correct almost every item on the bill. This is not a one-off at all; we have a similar experience each time. The food itself is pretty mediocre. Their fajitas are OK, but the rest of their "Southwestern" fare is pretty underwhelming. This is Tucson after all. Who are they appealing to? The entrees are riddled with mistakes: burnt food, mixing up chicken and shrimp, leaving off sides, shorting on the number of tacos... We usually have so many bad experiences in a night, that the manager often comps our entire meal! Probably at least four times now. Maybe that's why we come back. read more

Pass this place up. I've eaten at a Chili's before, a few years ago, and it was OK then. Recently went to this one and bartender said Chili's was famous for their fajitas. I always thought they were famous for the ribs but anyway I decided to order the fajitas. It took a bit of time to get our food and when it arrived the skillet wasn't even warm. You could put your hand on it and you wouldn't be harmed. I have always seen fajitas arrive on a sizzling skillet. Then the guy brings out the sides to put in the tortillas and the guacamole was brown like it had been sitting out for a long while. Strike 2 and I was not happy and told him why he should never bring guacamole out when it's brown - why I have to train wait-staff is beyond me. Anyway, he brought out another bowl of sides and the guacamole was still brown. I informed him (a nice way of putting it) that avocados are green and he should never ever bring brown guacamole to another customer. At that point everything was no unappetizing. So I just sent it all back and the bartender took it off our bill. I think the bartender was new because the drinks weren't all that great but I tolerated that because I figure as time goes on he'll get better. Anyway, 2 people, 1 entre and 4 cocktails still came to $65 before tip. That's pricey for a crappy experience. You can find the same food elsewhere and I'm sure it will taste better. read more

2 stars for the waiter, he was very attentive to us, which was excellent, and that is the only reason for 2 stars, the food we ordered, was basically inedible, my husband ordered the salmon and chicken combo, and added on a side of seared shrimp, the shrimp was raw, you could still see through it, which was sitting on top of the chicken, making that contaminated as well, his salmon was overcooked and dried out but he ate that anyway, my son ordered a bacon cheeseburger, that was overcooked and dry, with French fries that were cold. I ordered the southwest chicken bowl, the avacodo was brown, lettuce was warm and wilted, rice was cold, and it was overly spiced with cumin making it entirely to spicy to eat, and I eat ghost peppers alone, so if I can't eat it, it's bad. I ordered a Daiquiri andnit was served in a water glass? Who does that? The manager offered to comp my husband's entire meal, and only took 1/3 of it off, at the point of paying we were just over it and paid and left. Like I said hadn't not been for our waiter, I would have game the minimal 1 required star. read more

Food was great, as usual. Service could use improvement. Wanted to take our leftovers home and asked the waiter for a couple of plates and some utensils. Was told that they didn't have any plates, but he showed up with utensils. I walked around to the GO door in the back of the restaurant and got two plates. My wife and I decided to order food in for the night. We placed an order online and I picked it up. The staff was friendly; however, the food was horrible. I requested my burger medium well but when I bit into it, it was medium at best closer to rare. I had to warm up the patty in the microwave. My wife had the chicken sandwich, which was falling apart because the bun was soggy. Our kids didn't seem to mind their food; a pizza and mini burger. I would have taken the food back but didn't feel like driving 15 minutes there and another 15 home. Maybe the food is better prepared it your eat at the restaurant instead of getting it to go. read more
