Went to have late lunch at 1pm. Two of us were seated immediately as there were empty seats all around. Shortly there after we ordered our salads. After new diners were seated all around us, after they all were served their HOT meals and bar drinks and after we had waited an HOUR for our COLD salads, we were finally served! We were told that our salad was made wrong and had to be remade. REALLY, does it take an HOUR to remake a COLD salad? We will not be back to this restaurant any time soon! I do not recommend eating here if you want to get served in a reasonable amount of time. read more

So I see a bunch of bad review's on here and to be honest I keep coming back because I always receive great service. This time around we had Sam as our server, he was very attentive and made sure we needed the time to decide what we wanted. Drink came out quick and let us know he was in the middle of training someone. He was very quick and had a great attitude. Why the low rating?? I went here twice and had a great meal with fabulous service each time! I mean, you can't expect it to be like foodie central at Chilis, but the food is really flavorful and they have something for everyone. I really enjoy their lower calorie menu because it's not just a bunch of salads. We have a newborn baby and they do so much to accommodate him and us, which is really nice. As new parents, going out can be stressful!! Jillian, who has been our server both times, is sooo nice and helpful. She even offered to cut my chicken for me because I had to hold my little one! I tend to avoid chains after living in a city for awhile but sometimes, when I'm feeling too tired to cook and to lazy to drive to one of my favorite local restaurants (I live a good distance away from all of them). I go to Chili's. The one thing that I can say about them is that they are consistent (and having worked for a chain I can tell you all about the training that gets them there). It might not be the best but at least the food is decent, usually well prepared and the service is usually pretty good. One thing I can say that I love...the top shelf margaritas. I have eaten at a Chili's many times and like the food every time. Unfortunately, I have to say this visit makes me wonder if I would ever eat here again. We started off with an appetizer plate which consists of boneless buffalo wings, honey Chipotle chicken tenders and fried pickles. My main dish came with a dinner salad and I chose the Cajun chicken pasta. My favorite part was the tiny dinner salad, everything else was overly salty. The food alone was very disappointing. Extremely disappointed to see how far down hill this location has gone. Upon walking up to the building with my wife they were missing a door handle, which might as well have been a warning. Once we entered the restaurant there was no hostess there to greet us, after waiting for about 3 min we decided to just seat ourselves in the bar. The place wasn't too busy for it being 6:30pm and now I understand why. It took about 10 min for our server to come take our order, during this time it all felt extremely rushed. She did not ask me how I wanted my burger to be cooked but managed to ask my wife if she would like extras. We waited about an hour to receive our burger and fajitas. Meanwhile a couple who sat down about 20 min after us received their food 10 min before we did. Once our food was brought to us our server did not check in with us for about 15 min. I had an issue with the burger and needed a new bottom bun. We had to flag down another server to bring me another bun because we could not locate ours. While I was waiting I tried the fries, cold as ice. Once I finally got the bun and was able to take a bite into my burger I was further disappointed. The meat was 70% cooked and 30% raw. It was as if they only seared half the patty to the grill. There was no apology given by the waitress and later on when she came by to check on us we let her know that we were missing the "extra" beans and rice for the fajitas. Once again we received no apology and not even an offer to go and grab them. My wife spoke up and let her know to just take them off the bill and the waitress responded with "Oh yeah, that's what I was going to do" The service was terrible. One of my favorite restaurants, however service at this one was not good today. There was 4 in my party, we ordered soup and salad on the lunch menu and after 30 min only 2 of us had received one bowl of soup and one salad. A party of 4 that came in after us received there meals of burgers before we had gotten really any of our meals. When we told them we were leaving because of it they just said ok. After posting my review, Chili's reaches out to me to apologize for the experience. That was appreciated. read more

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I ordered door dash from this Chili's yesterday and it was awful to say the least. The food tasted like it had been sitting out all day and they did't even bother to warm it before packaging it. The food arrived disheveled and cold and looked like it been thrown around. My cheese curds tasted chewy and gummy and was all breading and no cheese. The wings and sliders were totally cold and undercooked. And to top it off they just threw it all in one container and everything was combined, messy, and touching. We enjoy going to Chilies in Marana. We enjoy the food. The service is ok. And I mean that. If they are slow, your service will be good. But.... you let the place fill up with customers, and service slows down, and your food comes out cold to the touch and you will generally have to ask for your tableware. We enjoy going there to eat because even if we do get our dinner not so hot, and it took a little long. We can always depend on that good old molten dessert covered with chocolate and ice cream. My wife and I very rarely go out to eat, but we decided to celebrate a late mothers day, we would go out and get some "cheap drinks and appetizers" after having a steak dinner at home. Unfortunately we made the mistake of going here instead of one of the finer establishments in the area. In the end we ordered 2 appetizers and 3 drinks. First to come out were our appetizers, we ordered the Texas cheese fries and the southwestern egg rolls. The egg rolls were meh. They were good, but nothing I would buy again, they tended to be a little greasy. the cheese fries were probably the best thing we had from here, but its kinda hard to mess those up! then... came the drinks. the first to come out was the Tropical Sunrise Margarita for my wife, and if all the drinks were mixed this perfectly, we would not have had any problem. it was sweet but not too sweet, presented well, and left us wanting more. alas, the next drinks we got did not meet this par. i ordered a long island iced tea, and I have to say that is was probably the worst I ever had. it was extremely strong, and it was a labor even just to sip it down, and I like my drinks strong! We then thought we would have better luck with another margarita, so we ordered the Sparkling Pomegranate Margarita, but again when it was received, it was so strong we could not even taste any of the pomegranate. we grudgingly choked it down. As for the service, I had worse service, but I've also definitely had much better service. The servers asked if everything was okay about 3 different occasions, but even a refill of water took upwards of 5-10 minutes to be received. Then the kicker... the bill. when we received it I was shocked to see we we charged nearly 9 dollars per drink! our " cheap night of drinks and appetizers" cost us over 50 dollars! for that we could have had a nice meal nearly anywhere else! With the restaurant market in northwest Tucson as crowded as it is, this is one place that will not be getting a 2nd chance. read more

It's not a one time bad experience, it's multiple bad experiences over the course of years, and after a while I think maybe this time it will be better, but it never gets any better, only more disappointing. Every time I've gone in to this establishment I have been seated, and had to wait 20+ minutes while other tables around me are served and attended to, and I am ignored. Today, was no exception. Tables that were immediately seated were served within moments, and I continued to sit and wait, and never had a drink order taken. No one came over to say it would be a moment or otherwise. I ended up walking out. This isn't the first time this has happened, and the manager has been informed. Other times, I have received the wrong food order, never received things I ordered (appetizer), and received wrong drinks. Everything wrong with this place is largely service oriented, the food is actually decent when you receive what you actually ordered. Overall, don't go here. There's many other fantastic options nearby that offer a far more enjoyable experience. read more

Completely disappointed. We had our grandkids and they selected Chili's at AZ Pavillions for dinner. We were seated and the waiting began. We waited almost ten minutes before the manager brought us utensils. Then we waited for another person for about five more minutes before we received our drinks. Then we waited another ten to fifteen minutes and my husband got up to find someone. When the host came around we asked for the manager who was the person who gave us our utensils and told her that our order was never taken. She did apologize but by this time we felt it best to leave as the children were very hungry. We offered to pay for our drinks. Told the manager that this was incredibly bad service and she said "I know". We left and went to Barrows across the street where our pizza was done in the amount of time we waited at Chili's to get anything. We will not be returning. read more

Very disappointed. Our friend who's eating with us had two glasses of beer both with lipstick around the entire brim. I'm guessing they didn't change the first glass. Two plates from our other friends came out cold. They forgot my soda and my kids drinks. First visit service was sooo slow, but we thought it was a one time thing, so we tried again when my In-laws were in town, again soooo slow. I've been coming to this location for about 4 years and it's always been so hit or miss with the service and quality of food, but my last visit will be my last for a long time. It's just irritating to be sat, wait for 20 minutes without ordering drinks or have anyone talk to you, and watch 3 tables, one next to yours and one behind, all get their drinks and orders taken before you, even though they sat much after you. Just hand a quick lunch with my husband and kids. Ordered the 3 choice appetizer. Overall good experience. With very nice customer service. But once we received the order and I went to dip an onion ring blossom petal into the dipping sauce I found there was a piece of plastic in the dipping sauce. At first I was a little stunned but thought okay maybe it's a chip. I pulled it out and found it was plastic. We waited for the waiter to come back and I kindly asked him, what he thought this was. He quickly grabbed it from my fingers and said oh it's a chip. My husband and I kinda chuckled and said no that's not a chip that's plastic. He left and apologized. Before I continue I just want to explain that I am not upset but just concerned. If a simple piece of plastic got overlooked when it was obviously on the top of the sauce, what else may be over looked? Scary thought but something to think about. We eventually got seen by the manager who apologized and was very nice. Although she did try to explain they thought it was a chip as well. A little avoidant of the real concern. She seemed very nervous or uncomfortable working with such issues. We said thank you, it's okay we just want to make sure you remind your kitchen and serving staff to always double check. She agreed. I was not expecting much but that was it. Surprised me but thought I would share our experience. Most likely won't be back just because the fact of something so easily avoidable, wasn't. This was the worst Chili's I have ever been too. Slow non existent bartenders, disgusting food and just a dirty place. The bar had dirty plates and glasses all over it from the time we sat down to the time we left. Not busy, no excuse for that kind of service. I would of rather gone to IHOP or Mcdonalds. Never again will I visit this disgusting establishment. And the manager was made aware of these conditions and comped us 6 dollars off our meal that neither my sister or I ate. First let me begin by saying Allie was an EXCELLENT server. She wasn't wearing a name tag and the receipt said "Allie" on it, so I am assuming she was Allie lol. The server had a nose ring and she was a beautiful young girl. She was darker complexion but lemme say, shes so pretty (slay girl)!!!!!!! She was beautiful inside and out and her kindness just radiated throughout her expressions. We came after a down pour and we were informed the place had lost power so things were running slow. Allie offered us chips on the house because we were gonna have to wait. We received our food and she was just so nice. She didn't pull any of that fake waitress crap and never faked a smile. She SO genuine and came off so real. Her customer service was beyond excellent. My entire table of four people was astounded of just how pleasant she was. We left a note on our receipt just telling her how wonderful she was. I have never received such kind service from someone who was just so willing to do anything. She didn't use the usual "waitress voice" and she didn't come off rehearsed. She was totally herself and was just on the ball about letting us know what was going on. Our food was amazing. I am so glad we decided to eat there that day. I hope management sees this somehow. You definitely have a winner on your team... She will go far in life with her attitude!!!!! read more

Just left this location because we were served our meal on what appeared to be dirty plates. Waited 20 minutes for the meal to arrive. My wife's Short Rib Enchiladas entrée looked like it had been barfed onto the plate. The presentation was sloppy and the charger plate was filthy. My Dr. Pepper Back Back Ribs half rack with the skillet smoked potato wedges looked like it had been placed on a dirty plate, also. Both entrees looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. I found a manager but I did not get his name. He agreed with our server that this was far below Chili's standards and offered to re - make the entrees. We were disgusted and not willing to possibly wait another 20+ minutes for the newly prepared entrees to arrive. We ended up get simple burgers and fries from In 'n Out Burgers next door to the restaurant. It may be a long time before we attempt to eat at this or any other Chili's restaurant again. Although I pride myself on not eating at chains as often as I can avoid, I would come here or Olive Garden first. Normally wouldn't write a review about a chain restaurant. Location is close to my house so I come here quite often. The food is average. I mean come on, it's Chilis. The reason for the one star today is solely for the service. The restaurant wasn't very busy and we were seated right away. Our server was standing at a table next to us talking with her friends. It took about five minutes to acknowledge us to take our drink order. At its time another table was seated across from us. After she took our meal order she came back to her friends table and continued her conversation. It took her almost 10 minutes to get that other tables drink order. Server greeted us and said there were 2 people covering us, never saw the second, drinks were not refilled without asking (several times), but there was a table 3 behind us where a group of about 4-5 employees were mingling (while one folded silverware into napkins). Arrived at 6:33 pm on Sunday, 6/26/17 and were promptly seated, we then waited 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge us (my wife, 4 month old grandson and myself). So she waited another 9 minutes while the kitchen remade her salad without cheese. The Manager Jay/Jeff (?) brought our her remade salad without an apology. When I informed him of the items listed above, his body language really screamed " yeah, what do you want me to do about it?" Then he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Oh by the way, I was at this same location LAST SUNDAY with a friend of mine from Iowa, we stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner after playing golf at The Quarry Pines Golf Club just up the road. Same kinda of situation, promptly seated then waited, waited and waited for a server to acknowledge us. My friend ordered a burger Medium rare, it was served medium WELL. Do yourself a favor, avoid slow service, incorrectly prepared meals by going somewhere else! You'll be glad you did. The Chili's on Oracle Road in Oro Valley is AWESOME! Absolutely Embarrassing! Horrible everything and I'm easy going as can be. Had a party of 9, 15 mins before anyone spoke to us once sat. 20 mins before we got drinks. Margs had no booze in them, I had to go find a random server to finally help us... Went and spoke to the manager regarding our drinks... Took 25 mins to get new ones. Food was horrible. Undercooked chicken. We finally skipped the desert included in our meal because we were there for 2 1/2 hours. They never even took them off our bill. After we complained twice manager never came over. Easy going family, over priced and it was a joke... Will have to write to corporate as I want a full refund. read more
