My expectations were not that high considering we are in the midst of a pandemic, and we had to sit outside. I was sooooo wrong!!! Wait time for us was about an hour and half, which is not that bad considering they only had maybe 10 tables?? And it was Friday, and it was 8pm. The hostess was very nice and apologetic for the wait, but I wasn't mad because of our timing and really they only had so many tables. The seating area was very nice and comfortable, very personal which was awesome. Our waiter Gabe was so nice, and he was amazing with my son. He even brought him extra fries at no charge. Our drinks were out in less than 5 min, I liked that our appetizer was next, and than maybe 10 min later our main dish was out. Perfecto!! I will definitely be back!! Terrible experience by far at this location. Ordered on 2/14 via online, the order said it would be ready at 9:05 we even took our time to get here we got here around 9:08. The girl took our name like 3xs finally she decided to write it down in a piece of paper. This has been very sad because they are usually on top for to go orders. We came in around 4p.m. because at happy hour they have chicken strip baskets that are a bargain. The server wasn't aware that they had chicken strip baskets and had to be informed by another server that what we wanted actually existed. I ordered honey Chipotle chicken strips with fries, bacon covered mashed potatoes and side sauces and my wife got a mushroom Swiss burger and bacon covered mashed potatoes. When the food came I realized portions were smaller than they used to be when I ate here a few years ago. The food was good but not great. Our server was not attending and disappeared for a while so we had to wait for her to reappear in order to get refills on our sodas. She disappeared again before we had a chance to ask for take home boxes. Our disatisfaction was reflected in the tip. This is my first review for Chili's. I've been there many times with my family and we always go back there since it's cheap. I always get the Chicken Enchilada or the Chicken Enchilada Soup which really tastes like chicken enchilada, but soup style. Both of them are good, but I like the Chicken Enchilada Soup better because it has less chicken and the Chicken Enchilada has too much chicken for my liking. I also get the free chips which are crispy and not too hard or too soft. Chips are just right. The guacamole is creamy. The atmosphere is wonderful and noisy since the customers are having conversations; they talk a lot. Their utensils are different because they come in a brown paper bag. There are multiple TV's that show sports. The service is really good, I like how the servers say their names. The one that I met today was very very friendly. My dad thinks that the price of the food is reasonable. I recommend this place to people who what a birthday celebration or people who wants to get together with other family members. read more

Updated review 6-1-19: I came here bc I wanted to have a beer. The wife and I ordered the guacamole and chips. Probably the best part of the meal. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger (without cheese) and with the black bean patty and my wife ordered the black bean veggie fajitas. First off my black bean patty looked dark and tasted burned. Initially I only got like 10 fries and had to ask our server if that was a typical serving size. Needless to say she went a brought out additional fries. The menu also says burgers come with pickles on the side which I had to ask for bc they forgot to add them. My wife's fajitas were missing the mushrooms and our server had to bring out an order. Not her fault, I blame the kitchen! Now Yelp I am not completely sure if the quality of food has always been so sub par and my taste buds were lacking or if the quality of food has just tanked big time! But the food itself was horrible! Horrible!!!! I don't blame the staff, they were friendly, attentive, and had great customer service. It was just literally the food... I am still confused about it. I mean were my taste buds really that bad before that I completely missed the shittiness of the food? Honestly I have been cooking more at home using real ingredients so I know my taste buds have evolved. Idk.. honestly I do not plan on stepping foot in this establishment ever again. The experience wasn't bad per day. We had great customer service. This review it literally just on the taste of the food itself. Horrible. Got a quick lunch and ordered the mozzarella bricks. The cheese was very runny and unenjoyable. The server was also bartending so she wasn't very attentive and we had to ask a different server for our tab. She didn't check on us until we asked to pay and someone different brought out both our food and drinks. They made my boyfriends pasta wrong and charged us an extra $7 because she took our order wrong. The pasta it self was on the drier side and left us wishing for more. Won't be coming back. read more

I stopped here with my girlfriend on our roadtrip from LA to Kings Canyon summer 2010. So why am I writing this review now, 6 months later? Because it is a cold day in Stuttgart, Germany and I want to remember the warmth of summer in California. To echo Isaac N.'s review, this Chili's is well above average. These guys are not just regurgitating the same stuff you get at Chilis all over the country, it's better, and delicious. I had a burger which was cooked to perfection, prefect juiciness and seasoning. And the fountain drinks had just the right amount of carbonation, served super cold, perfect for a summer day. I don't remember what she had, but this was definitely one of the better Chili's experiences either of us has had. A quick side-note: Mooney boulevard is one of the finest streets in America. No other cities I have been to sport those incredible "Cruising Prohibited" signs. It really shows you this town was built at a different time in our great history. I hope they never take those signs away. I know, I know, I'm giving a nationwide chain restaurant 4-stars. But I give credit where credit is due, and these guys deserve it. read more

As much as it hurts to leave this review I think it is necessary. I've been going to this chillin for almost 4 years already and let me tell you I've ordered the same thing every time I went and that would be the full rack of ribs. Well like I said as much as it hurts the quality of the ribs is just not the same no more I went the other night and changed up my order and only got a 1/2 rack of ribs. To my surprise that 1/2 rack of ribs looked more like a 1/4 rack of ribs. Very disappointing. read more

Natalie was a wonderful waitress. One of the best I've seen who truly made this evening wonderful. Attentive and alert along with a great personality. It was her attitude along with the good food (had the sirloin steak with shrimp, Just bacon burger and the to die for Texas cheese fries) that made the experience overall quite wonderful. Terrible customer service. Nothing like an 18 year old host on a power trip. We checked in through a yelp reservation list that can only be added to the site by the restaurant. The app said the wait would be 15 min max. However, when we arrived the hostess said we would have to wait 20-30 min and talked down to us about how the app "isn't that working and we can't remove it." What?!?! My daughter is a vegetarian 7 1/2 years and we were in there yesterday, we asked if there was meat in the egg rolls because the menu did not say and the employee told us no. Turns out after being sick and looking online there was chicken in it. She is very upset and sick. Finally, a staff member came up with a scowl on his face and checked a seating chart for a minute, gave us a pained smile and walked back to were the manager and one other server were standing. They talked long enough for us to question wether or not to stay. The waiter came back with a little better smile and asked how many. He said just a minute and went and checked tables. While he was gone the one who appeared to be a manager came up and checked the seating chart but did not acknowledge us. Frustrated, someone in our party said hello to him in a questioning tone. He replied hello and that he thought someone else had already greeted us. I work in a customer service position and everyone says hello when we encounter persons at the desk wether someone else already has or not. What kind of manager doesn't know the basics of good customer service? We were the walked to a booth next to the kitchen entry with many booths still open elsewhere. I spoke up at this as we had a hearing impaired person in our party. Finally, the staff became attentive and service after that was good with the exception of not re-filling water glasses and the waiter rushing our payment by asking for credit card and running the table machine himself. System timed or something? To the cooks... you saved this experience with really good food or this would have been a one star visit. There are too many great restaurant options near here for management to allow even one experience like this whatever the drama behind the scenes was. read more

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat but lately every time I order anything ToGo, they get it wrong, but we usually don't see that it is wrong til after we receive we get home and it's just not worth driving all the way back to fix it. Not necessarily a fan of chilis in general but after tonights visit, i totally changed my opinion. The husband chose to eat here for dinner and i reluctantly agreed. We sat in the bar area with self seating and was greeted by the greastest server on the planet "Tara". We started with tableside guacamole, chips and salsa. We devoured it all. For our entrees i chose the chipolte crispers and waffles. Very different but super tasty. My husband got the honey chipolte sirloin and shrimp. I tried a bite of his steak and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Tara was hustling like a pro as well so we never waited long for anything. Our water glasses were never empty and she checked in without hovering. Great food and even better prices here. We will come back soon. read more

I will never return to this restaurant again. Time after time after time, I have a horrible experience with this location. Having moved from a bigger city and having enjoyed Chili's before, this place is terrible. The staff is rude, doesn't listen and have attitudes. One time I came in with my wife and my 2 kids a my niece, we had to find someone to seat us. Then when we were seated, another couple was seated after us. The other couple had their drinks and order taken before anyone ever came to ask us if we needed drinks. (Don't want to say racist, but we are black and Hispanic and they were white.) I placed an order for Pick up, for a party up to 3 weeks in advanced and even double checked a week before and the day before. When I arrived at the time I requested, the staff looked stunned. I was eventually told that they made it yesterday, and they would get on it right away. Needless to say, I wasn't comped anything and I was 1.5 hrs late with people waiting. The last time , wife and I ducked in for a quick bite. Wasn't very busy. Hostess asks if we wanted Bar or dining room. We said Bar, saw a table we wanted and when we asked if she could clean it, rolled her eyes with an attitude. Table now cleared, but not wiped. Asked wait staff if they could wipe it off, again attitude. Finally able to order food, placed order at 5:20, noticed fork had food on it and asked wait staff for a clean one. He returned stating that they were all out and handed me a plastic fork. (REALLY). Food finally arrived at 6:15. As he brought the food I had to ask for a box because we had to go now. Everyone here needs to be fired and then rehire people who want to work and can be friendly no matter what and make sure the customers are happy. I'll drive the extra 15 mins to Tulare if I'm going to Chili's. This location is a joke. read more
