This is so far the worst experience I have had at an chili's outlet. It took them forever to get us a table and once we were walked to our table, the silver ware and plates provide were only for 3 people and we were a group of 6. The plates and silverware were taken fresh out of dishwasher and were still dripping with water. When the time came to order our appetizer they mixed up our order. And this was just the beginning of a night that I wish I never wasted on chili's. Our drinks were mixed up, our food was mixed up. I have never been this disappointed with chili's. I stopped here with my girlfriend on our roadtrip from LA to Kings Canyon summer 2010. So why am I writing this review now, 6 months later? Because it is a cold day in Stuttgart, Germany and I want to remember the warmth of summer in California. To echo Isaac N.'s review, this Chili's is well above average. These guys are not just regurgitating the same stuff you get at Chilis all over the country, it's better, and delicious. I had a burger which was cooked to perfection, prefect juiciness and seasoning. And the fountain drinks had just the right amount of carbonation, served super cold, perfect for a summer day. I don't remember what she had, but this was definitely one of the better Chili's experiences either of us has had. A quick side-note: Mooney boulevard is one of the finest streets in America. No other cities I have been to sport those incredible "Cruising Prohibited" signs. It really shows you this town was built at a different time in our great history. I hope they never take those signs away. I know, I know, I'm giving a nationwide chain restaurant 4-stars. But I give credit where credit is due, and these guys deserve it. read more

Jamie was one of the most amazing waitresses I've ever had. So sweet and had great customer service. I usually am not a huge fan of Chili's, but this visit was exceptional. The food was good and came out in a timely manner, especially for how busy they were. My grandfather wanted hot cocoa, but they didn't sell it. So what did Jamie do? Took forever to get food, drink refills, etc. ordered 2 apps and a triple dipper, and chips and salsa. We have Chili's rewards that should have covered our chips and salsa. The kiosk at our table was broken and it turns out they sent our bill to another table who paid it. But they said it was okay because we would pay less and it should all be good. Instead of taking off the chips and salsa took off a soda which costs less. Gave up trying to get it straightened out. We just wanted to leave. Do not go to this location. So disappointed with chili's today. It was a Lazy day at home, so We decided to splurge. Ordered online, and my husband brought the food home. I was so disappointed. My steak was tiny and asparagus was raw. My daughters chicken strips were burnt and dry and the honey chipotle crispers had no sauce on them. the nachos tasted old and the beans were so dry, they crumbled. And I know this sounds petty but they didn't even give me ranch and I bought extra! I'm usually not a complainer but for a $50 meal, I would at least like it do be good. We have visited chili's many times. Throughout these times it has been good. Loved it when they had older servers. Once the very young waiters came it was awful. We had an incident where we could hear the waiters didn't want to serve us because it was almost time for their shift to end and they weRe all meeting to go out later. We waited 35 min to get a drink order and then our drinks never arrived. We askeD who our assigned server was and she went to go get them and you could hear the server say oh no I don't Want to serve them I'm almost off. Finally I called for the manager and he came out and didn't understand why we weren't getting served. I had to tell him the plan about how all the servers were getting together and going out and if you noticed no one is out taking orders. I said listen and watch. Sure enough he caught on to the plan. He called a huge meeting leaving the restaurant for a few minutes without waiters. He came and apologized and gave us gift cards. Now the pLace seems better and more organized. I do enjoy chili's but sometimes service can be a lil sketchy. read more

So the last time I walked out was for a reason. 2 years later I decide to give it a try and again, it fails. I walked in and asked for a booth for two people. Mind you the place wasn't packed and no one was waiting. The girl at the front, who must be low paid and untrained, so there were no booths available. I said yes there are I see lots of empty ones. She said those were not available because the next waiter doesn't come in till 4 pm and those booths are assigned to that waiter! Wow, what have a business if you don't plan to make money, just say your closed. Or train your staff to make money not lose money, cuz I walked out. How stupid does it sound to say a booth is not available because of someone's shift? What does that have to do with me? WhAt is chili's motto ? Mission statement! They made my food wrong, the server was average at best (and was telling us she had been there for a year) we waited an extra 20 minutes for a discount to be taken off because the manager was too busy.
