I never thought to do a review of Chili's because it's somewhere I go to often to meet up up with friends for drinks but my daughter and I came for lunch today so I figure I'd share my opinion. First of all..we all know that everything is more expensive in Hawaii so the 3 for $10 deal is 3 for $15 here. We went in to order this. They didn't have a menu that listed the choices for this special so the server ( who by the way seemed to be in a rush to make us order) told me to look in my Chili's App. She stood over us and waited for me to download the app, then scroll to find where I could see the choices....I finally asked her to leave and give us a few minutes. She came back and my daughter ordered her drink, appetizer (baked potato soup) and entree ( chicken tenders) I ordered my drink, appetizer (house salad) and entree ( bacon cheeseburger because it was a selection on the app) She then came back to say that my burger was not a "Hawaii" item ‍‍‍ so I ordered a regular cheeseburger. Food came pretty quick. Needless to say the appetizers were better than the entrees. So from now on I will just stick to the monthly margaritas and get together a with my friends. No food for me. (Sometimes I think they try to trick you and hope you forget.) It's been way too long since my last visit here. This is my chill and relaxed getaway to have my margaritas with my wifey. This time it was with my family which was suppose to be just pupus and margarita but since my husband came to join us it became our dinner. Wasn't my choice to come here, but if I had a choice this wouldn't be an option... located in the lower half of Waikele Premium Outlets where the McD's is... Layout of the place is similar to others locations and have the same menu as other locations... my kids for some reason love to come here... My opinion of the food here is like going to the frozen section of a grocery store, heating up the food, plating and then serving! My kids said they liked what they had and couldn't finish all and made a doggie bag for the rest to take home. As for my plate of their version of the Rib Eye with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes... the meat was a little tougher than it looked and the seasoning was very heavy and salty! Even the broccoli was so salty that I couldn't eat all of them... the only item that was decent was the mash potatoes and that's pretty sad for a Rib Eye dish! That or I'm too spoiled with tender meat that doesn't feel like rubber in my mouth as I chew :/ Service was okay... my kids were giving him a hard time so I can understand he didn't wanna come around as often... we didn't run out of water but he did take his take to clear our tab because the tablet on our table wasn't working... After a super long day of work... co workers and I went for a bite because I was starving and they were "thirsty" .... JOSIAH the rockstar served us and was amazing as always. Came in for lunch with my office and was actually surprised by the new lunch combos - there are actually a lot more options than before *thumbs up chili's! After perusing the vast menu I opted for the spicy shrimp taco combo which comes with 2 tacos & loaded with shrimp and coleslaw YUM. It also includes a side of chips/salsa but I asked my server if I could sub with fries instead and got the ok, YES! =D also added the mini molten cake to my combo for an additional $5 (I think lol). Come here every once in a while to catch their $8.08 happy hour. Got the Loaded Curly Fries, Classic Nachos and the Presidente Margaritas. Food and drinks were great as always. Our server was great also. My one disappointment is that, we come to find out that all Hawaii Chilis locations will no longer accept the Chilis Rewards. For example, we had a "Free Dessert" reward for my birthday. We ordered and when the bill came, we asked our server to use this reward and she said they can no longer accept the rewards. We had noticed that the usual tablets on the tables were no longer there, but didn't think anything of it u til our waitress started to explain the change that happened. Located in Waikele shopping center with free ample parking. We came for dinner at 6pm and there was no wait at all on a Friday night. The host and server were very friendly and seated us promptly. We had a party of 7 and our server was very patient, esp since we had 3 kids with us. They brought out the free chips n salsa and even gave us a free chili/cheese dip bc we made our server laugh:). I got the appetizer (forget the name) where you could choose from 3 diff items for $16. I got the burger bites (sliders), buffalo wings, and southwestern egg rolls. All three items were delicious and came with more than enough food that I wasn't able to finish it. My husband got the full rack of ribs ($25) with fries and loaded corn on the cob, similar to an elote for all you Californians lol. The ribs were tasty, juicy, and not dry at all. I also got their $7 1800 martini which was huge (probably the size of 3 martinis). The martini was sweet, tasty, but very strong..leaving me tipsy off 1 drink, and I can usually handle my alcohol pretty well lol. Service was good for a busy Friday night. We got a table right away at about 530pm. When we were leaving, there was a wait around 630pm. I will say we did have to wait a couple minutes for a hostess, as did the person in front of us. The menu definitely had some new items on it. I was feeling something different, so I elected to get the chicken and waffles with spicy chicken strips, jalapenos and bacon. It was served with fries. There was alot of flavors going on here. Some sweet, and some spicy. I think it was a little too much going on although the presentation was really nice. The side of sauce that was served with it was more of a spicy glaze. The biggest disappointment in this meal was the quality of the chicken tenders. They were tough and lacking any crunch or crispiness from the breading. 1 star for the chicken. Our food arrived very fast and service was good. My wife's meal came out with the wrong meat. She ordered a pick 3 bbq combo meal. They sent out bbq chicken vice the brisket that was ordered. It was quickly corrected. I tried my wife's chicken to compare it to the chicken that I had received and I found the same thing. It was flavourless, soggy, tough and the breading lacked crispiness. I had low expectations for the barbecue brisket and unfortunately it lived up to that. It was tender enough but not much flavor and the overall quality was poor. Also you did not get very much. The ribs however were decent. In the future, I will stick to their burgers, fajitas and other Chllis staples. As a tip, check in on Yelp to get chips and queso for free, an 8.99 value. My Go - To Restaurant up the street from my house. I always come here if other food places are busy. The Waikele area, how ever has a small parking for people who comes during the busy hours. This Chili's restaurant, just recent renovated their seats & their counters. It's very uniformed & more cleaner environment. One big tip for Chilis, all over the island is the FREE Queso when you check in! I always forget to check in but I always show the waiters the Yelp account. Nothing wrong with free food right?! :D I highly recommend triple dipper & their quesadillas are good! I love how they have refills on the lemonades. I prefer the Strawberry Lemonade the BEST! After a round of golf out at the hot and sunny Ewa Plains, our foursome planned to head back East to enjoy a lunch together and commiserate, er, rehash the highs and lows of our round. Unfortunately, because there had been a six car accident on the H-1 East we all got caught in gridlock. This site has a lot of parking and can accommodate the crowds from the nearby Premium Outlet Mall as well as several other smaller establishments. There was a waitlist of 20 minutes which seemed reasonable since we noticed all of the tables in the dining room were full. The hostess offered to seat us in the empty bar area where we could watch television, grab ourselves some cold beverages and probably be waited on right away. While we waited for a server, the hostess began seating more people in the bar area along with us. A friendly server came, introduced herself as the bartender and took our beverage order. She returned quickly with our order and asked if we were ready to order. We weren't quite ready, so understandably, she went onto the other tables. It wasn't until after she had taken food orders for the other tables, most of which were large parties, that she returned to check on us and to take our order. The food was decent and eventually another worker came to assist the bartender by refilling our beverages and delivering our dishes. We all had ordered their "Big Mouth Burgers" with fries. Each of our burgers was nicely presented, flavorful and done to our liking. Sorry to say but we felt sorry for the poor gal as she was getting overwhelmed. I know that she had no control over the amount of people coming in to dine but, the shift leader should have at least seen to getting more help into the bar area. My bf and I love the baby back ribs. I love the memphris rub, he goes for the original sauce. I usually get corn and broccoli for the sides, but there are other choices such as sweet potato fries, cole slaw, rice, and mash potato. A Must Have dessert is the Oreo Molten. Half white/half chocolate cake with a creamy (not sure what kind of creme, tastes like melted ice cream) center, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. The cake portion is heated, making it a delight to the senses. Service is not the fastest here, but usually very pleasant staff. We usually wait about 10-15 minutes for a seat at dinner time, about the same to put in an order, and then about 30 minutes for the food to come. Not a place to come to if you are in a rush or need to get to an early movie. Great to come to relax, they even serve alcoholic beverages. Lava flow ftw! read more

She was gracious, smiling the whole time, attentive, and caring. She took our drink orders almost immediately, kept the glasses full, took my 'free' order of queso and chips (compliments of checking in on YELP!) with no problem, and made recommendations off the menu. Tonight my family and I went to this location for dinner. We had a server named Kelly that took our order. When we were done for our food she took the little tablet and made it seem like she had to change the battery on it but we think she took it so we couldn't pay for our bill on the tablet with our cards. Once given the bill my sister asked if we could split the check but she had an attitude and said you never asked before but she didn't even give us the option to split it. Then we noticed we were automatically charged a 20% gratuity which she stated was a new thing they were doing for parties 6 and up. My sister ended up calling the MOD and he stated that they only automatically charge gratuity for 8 and up parties and it's only 18%. So basically Kelly lied to us. And charged us $40 for a tip. We were very upset that she lied to us so she could get a bigger tip. Make sure to check your bill if you ever get this lady because she might be scamming you guys.
