This is my first visit to this Chili's. I actually haven't eaten at Chili's for quite awhile. We were shopping out at the outlet stores and decided to stop in for an early dinner. We were seated at the bar area for some reason. It was a bit loud with several TVs playing and multiple people at the bar. Our server, Jessica, was a very prompt and sweet. We ordered some ice tea for drinks, followed by the shrimp and steak fajitas for dinner. My daughter really enjoyed the fajitas. For dessert we had the chocolate molten lava cake. There is never anyone to greet you at check in booth unlike most other places I go to. This is the second Chilis location I visited in a week. This location seemed bigger. And clean. Am getting really frustrated with what was favorite place.... I wrote a review and post a picture of a waiter who was putting his hands down his pants in the front and back, tucking in his shirt 11 days ago, and then went onto serving food without even washing his hands first. Days later a "Mickey" contacted me and in a professional manner apologized followed by an offer to come back. He also asked that I email him to provide a chance to send me a few coupons to use for another visit that would allow his team to redeem themselves. I replied and after a week, there has yet to be a response from the manager who claimed improved and impressive service...... We're back on our stomping ground! We used to come here sooo much when we lived in Waipahu. Anyway, We were out shopping in Waikele and wanted to come to this chillis. We came at around 2ish and opted to seat by the bar. I had my usual triplet dipper and always enjoyed them. The lover had the ultimate cheeseburger and said that it was good. However, the service was lacking. Didn't even bother to check up on us and the bar wasn't even that busy. We had to flag both bartenders if we wanted something. My boyfriend also ordered a drink but it's obvious that the bartender forgot about it. We had to ask for it. Overall, liked this chillis hate the service. So far I have a been here twice. I usually eat at Chili's in Kahala. But at this chili's the service is great, the food is good, and the service is excellent. When the workers would bring out my plate, it looks presentable & it isn't dirty. What I mean by that is, there isn't fresh beans dripping down the bowl in to my plate. The location of this Chili's is great because there are many good shopping places nearby. There are also a few food trucks to choose from when you get hungry and crave a small snack. We had to wait about 5-10 minutes before we were seated. Our server was extremely friendly and positive from the get-go. I used the free Yelp coupon (if you "check-in" on Yelp) to get a free chips and queso. I always love Chili's chips because they are so thin and crispy. Unfortunately, some of the chips were really oily so they ended up being stale. They always give more chips, so it was easy to get a refill and forget about the sad, wet chips. The queso was delicious and unhealthy as usual. I've never really liked their salsa though... I ordered the chicken enchiladas. It came with three chicken enchiladas, Mexican rice, and beans. My dad ordered beef quesadillas while my mom got the prime rib tacos. All of it was delicious, and I only ate ONE chicken enchilada because I was so full! That must be a record for me (I eat a lot). My mom insisted that I try one of her prime rib tacos, and I will admit, it was delish. However, the juices that the prime rib was in was a little too salty for my liking. Ordered a delivery order through the app specially from this location since the Kapolei location forgets meals on our orders every time. Our food arrived with missing food again! This time the chili's called us asking if we received the missing items, so they must have caught it on their end. But no resolution was reached, they said they'd call us back after speaking with their manager. It's been 45 mins and no response yet. The food that we did receive was burned(bread) and the pasta was dry, hard and barely any sauce on it. We've been patient with them for the past year or so but it has only gotten worse. Me and some friends came to this location after a long day of work and to celebrate my birthday early on in the week. The restaurant was pretty empty and we were greeted by the manager as soon as we came inside and we were seated immediately. Let me just say, our server Xavion was nothing short of amazing!! He helped me choose a drink, was very attentive to us (even when he had three tables in his section), make sure our food and beverages were up to par and even cracked jokes with us. He really cheered me up, As work was quite stressful for the past few weeks. I was SO impressed with the service I asked to speak to his manager and made sure our words were spoken to celebrate him. Decent food, but amazing service. I came here on a Tuesday night (~8:30 pm) after a long workday. My friend and I were seated right away and were treated really well. I ordered my usual chicken crispers with corn and fries and it was served just the way I like it. Chili's is a place I don't go to regularly, but I am on their emailing list so I get marketing emails and was finally enticed to go when I got a "get a free molten lava cake" dessert coupon with purchase of adult entree! They had me at "free" and "cake"! Flipping through the menu, I didn't want anything heavy, so I opted for a Bacon Avocado Grilled Chicken Sandwich for $14. I called in the order for takeout so that it would be about ready when I got there. Apparently, for takeout orders, you go to the bar and wait by the "To Go" sign and someone will come and help you. I waited a few minutes, first time ordering takeout so I wasn't familiar with the procedures, was I supposed to be helped by the bartender? He was busy and didn't acknowledge my presence right away. Eventually, I was helped by the person who took my order. And shortly after, the bartender asked if I had been helped. So he made up for not seeing me right away. ;) When I got home and opened the takeout boxes, I was impressed. It's hard to tell the size of the sandwich on the website photo, so in reality, it's like having two sandwiches. This was large enough to share between two people. I was surprised by how big the chicken patty was and how moist and tender it tasted. The avocado slices were thin, but they didn't skimp on the bacon! I was also impressed with the way they packed the Molten Lava Cake dessert to go. The ice cream was in a separate insulated takeout container, the caramel sauce was also separate. We were too lazy to heat up the molten lava cake (usually served warm at the restaurant), would recommend to heat it up a slight bit. This dessert is also enough to share between two people So that was our meal between the two of us, the chicken sandwich and the dessert. It was just right! And all for $14! Chantelle was my waitress and she was extremely friendly and helpful. I needed to know how spicy the guacamole was and she accurately described it as not being spicy. It was so ono! And they give you a huge portion (see picture). She said they make them taste various dishes, vwhich is a great idea if your servers are going to be able to describe them to your customers. I had the plain old hamburger, but it was good and cooked to my liking and I was able to have corn instead of fries. I had the refillable tea and Chantelle was great about refilling my drink. The alcohol selection is good and they also have a full bar but this visit was sub par and I'm kind of disappointed. My girlfriend and I decided to try this place out since it was so great back in the day when we were in high school so we wanted to relive some nostalgia. We were seated promptly which was nice. Host was friendly so it was going great. It took a server around 10 mins to greet us as well as 10 minutes more to take orders. The menu design is beautiful but really flashy so it's hard to order since it just seems like things are everywhere. There are people who appreciate menus such as this but I prefer something a little more simple. The server we had was friendly and smiled often but the food took almost forever to come out. 30 minutes for the app and then a little over an hour for the entrees. The burger I got was dry and the country friend steak my girlfriend got was really really salty. This left is sad and disappointed. The app trio deal they have was delicious. Kind of wish we only got that because by the time everything else came out we were already full. I loved chili's in high school but this location has gone down hill. I haven't really been to chili's much but since the kiddos love eating here, this was the restaurant of choice. Since the Mililani restaurant is usually packed, I headed to the Waikele location for dinner. I didn't know this but you can call ahead to make a reservation. Luckily, the wait was only 15 minutes for a table. Once seated we were greeted by our server, whom became MIA when it was time to order. I must say, I was impressed with their menu as they added healthier menu options like quinoa, asparagus and expanded their lighter menu choices. I do love their drink menu.. coronita time for me! We decided on a flat bread pizza and fajitas. The flat bread pizza was delicious! However the fajitas were a fail. Very few pieces of meat and the veggies weren't cooked thoroughly. I always love my dinner company more than the food here. Since the kiddos love eating here, chili's will still be one of the dinner options for us.
