Went for lunch today (Friday at 2). Lots of ppl due to the Memorial Day weekend (I assume) yet there were still a lot of tables left but we had to wait for about 10min to be seated. Fast forward, sat and ordered our food. 50 mins went by- no acknowledgment or apologies from the waiter. Ppl next to us got there before us and they were waiting for their food also. Asked the host if she could find out how much more we'd have to wait bc the waiter just kept walking by without a word. She said 5-10min. Who knows if that becomes 20-30mins. So we asked to just pay for the soda we ordered and leave. Paid $10 but the waiter didn't return the remaining balance. So when he finally apologized for the wait, we were puzzled bc we didn't get our money back. Then, he came back frustrated and gave our $10 back saying "no need. The service suck!!! We came for a quick drink at about 845 pm. We sat at the bar and the bartender walked around without acknowledging us - we waited there for like 10 minutes without being acknowledged. - I already knew the service was going to bad so I made sure to order everything before he runs off and never returns hhahaha. And I was right !!! The service was lacking big time - it actually just plain sucked. At the end the night they end up making you pay on the computer thing - he gave me the total 39 bucks - I was ready to pay and he says oh sorry , and gives me a receipt which was 50 bucks and stated that he forgot to add on a drink - geez, your mistake - eat it and keep your customer happy. We were so hungry so we decided to grab some lunch before hitting the stores. We moved tables because my mom was uncomfortable with the higher seats. We sat at a table by the bar and Amber was our server. She was quite busy but super nice. We ordered the chips and queso to begin with and then the shrimp Cesar salad and lunch portion fajitas. The salad was delicious! That should never be taken off the menu, lots of shrimp and the dressing was good. The fajitas were tasty and fresh and my mom enjoyed them. The reason why it wasn't a 5 from me was that our server did forget to bring us utensils, delayed in the refills, and took a bit to take our order. The visit began rather awkwardly with the revelation that they no longer accept their rewards program when we tried ordering the free chips and salsa. This was not a deal-breaker in and of itself and as the premium dips are only marginally more, we began to debate between white queso and the fresh guacamole. While we were deciding, the waitress said she'd give us time to decide then left. When she returned, she brought a bowl of chips and salsa, which we hadn't ordered. When we tried clarifying if it was part of either the queso or the guac, she said they were separate, despite the menu stating that the dips come with bottomless chips and salsa. While trying to clarify this confusion, she vehemently insisted they came separately and that the dip did not come with any chips. While doing so she was quite forceful, and dare I say rude. We had a Chili's gift card for a long time, and finally decided to use it yesterday. The wife and I split a smokehouse combo. We chose the Brisket and Crispy Chicken Crisper entrees; and french fries and roasted corn sides. It also came with garlic toast, pickles, and a free order of chips/salsa. Hmmm, where do I start. Okay, the chicken crispers were pretty good. A lot of breading and a bit on the saltier side (which I like). Some parts were junky meat that was chewy/crunchy but overall it was a good dish. I was a bit disappointed though that they gave us BBQ dipping sauce when we selected ranch. The toast and fries were also really good with a lot of flavor. My wife also enjoyed the corn. On the other hand, the brisket was pretty damn bad. The texture was more similar to beef jerky and it lacked flavor. The chips and salsa were also pretty bad. Those are some uniquely thin chips, that had no flavor. And the salsa was bland and had a watery texture. Overall, I went with 3 stars because although the taste wasn't the best, it was what I expected for the price and quantity/variety. read more

This chili's seems to always have a wait. I'm giving it a two for the following reasons. -we had no silverware until 10 mins after our food was given to us. -my queso wasn't hot at all. More like Luke warm -my ribeye wasn't very tender -shrimp tasted like Cajun - my boyfriend was given the wrong meal -we asked for straws and never received them Overall, I was disappointed in the service we received last night. I recently visited Chili's on a Wed evening with my parents. We were greeted by a nice host who sat us right away. Waited about 15 mins for our server to get to our table. We saw a bunch of families with little kids, so we didn't mind. A family across from us was very upset at their service. The mother leaded over and advised service was bad. My parents and I been in the service industry, so we gave the server the benefit of the doubt. Our server finally came to us and asked if we were ready. We ordered our food and waited. We were looking around and noticed that a lot of the families' children didn't get their food. Now this is where it went downhill. We waited about 45 mins for our food. My mom ordered a salad and bowl of chili, my dad and I ordered burgers. My mom's salad came out hot and her chili was ice cold. Our triple dipper was cold and burgers were luke warm. We waited awhile before we were able to wave down our server, she looked at the chili and didn't say a word. She brought it back and said be careful it's hot. They microwaved the bowl and all! We ate our food then my noticed that the chili was extremely salty. Again our waitress was nowhere to be found. So we waved down the host if we could talk to the manager. Branson came to our table and asked what was wrong. He advised him that our food was cold and salad was hot. Also that the chili was extremely salty. He kept say o I know that the chili is salty, they make it from a bag. Instead of apologizing about service and food. He became confrontational and trying to defend himself. We just told him we wanted the check. He came back pointing out that he took off the chili and salad. I don't know, I used to love going to chili's for burgers and drinks. Did not know that Chilis in Pearlridge closed. That WAS the best one. Was waiting outside at 10:58am because they open at 11:00. At 11:09am, we realized something was off. It's kind of a hit or miss with this place. The salad was meh. Chicken was dry for whatever reason it is. Service was ok but I believe they were short staffed when I was there. When you get to the door the host puts you on the wait list and takes contact info. The wait time isn't too long in my case, about 15-20 mins. The waitress was busy that night with so many large tables. Food came out at an okay speed and the taste is good. The portion is large for the price, so we had to take some leftovers home. This was so much better then I was expecting! We were seated right away and ordered quickly. The food came out in about 10 min and everything was hot and fresh. Our server Sam was super pleasant and totally on it. My friend had the shrimp tacos which she absolutely loved with corn on the cob and broccoli. I don't know how they cook their broccoli but it's delicious. I had the three chicken enchiladas with black beans and Mexican rice. I decided to come back to this location because the service was great from the waiter I had prior. I was fooled haha the service here is horrible, this group of workers seemed like they didn't want to be there, some was chilling talking by the bathroom, even the manager herself needs to be retrained because she see's us waiting and didn't bother to say hi or check in on us. We asked to not be seated by the door, that's the left side first booth and their response was we rotate the tables and the wait would be 30mins to a hr mind you it's 11:06am and only 3 tables was seated they just opened so explain why I'm waiting 30mins plus when the whole place empty. Management needs to be more strict and be less of a friend to the workers, not once did the lady walk by and ask us for help or say we will be getting you seated shortly all she did was look from a distance and talk to the other workers quietly. Hire more people to be on the floor instead of being cheap and only have 2 people taking orders, that's more stress on the waiter themselves. I've been to this location a few times before, but my visit on 9/23 was by far the best experience. Our server, Inny, was so kind and friendly. I was with a group of friends and he was very patient with us and our indecisiveness, and played along with some of our jokes. We had a wonderful experience here. We checked in and there was hand sanitizer at the entrance. They took our name and number and text us when our table was ready. We didn't have to wait long. The tables are spaced out with tables blocked off to keep our distance. Our waiter (Thomas) asked us if we have ruby rewards? If you log in on the kiosk, you get free salsa and chips. We didn't know what we were doing so he assisted us. He was very accommodating, friendly and efficient. He kept our glasses filled and kept checking on us to ensure we got everything we needed.
