The restaurant was freezing cold, so cold that my family and I all had our jackets on and still yet were cold. Thankfully, we had blankets in the car, so we paired them with the jackets. The entire waiting staff could see how miserable we were, huddled up together. Yet, despite us asking, they wouldn't turn up the temperature. I witnessed another family also complaining about the cold, they were accommodated and moved. I usually love chilis, my family and I go to the Mililani one frequently. I chose Big Swell by Kona Brewing, an IPA. I don't usually drink IPAs but this one was pretty good. When it was time to eat I couldn't figure out what to eat: burger? Salad? Ribs? We decided to eat the Grilled chicken Santa Fe salad, chicken enchilada soup and curly fries. The salad was a good portion and very hardy. The enchilada soup was tasty and pleased. Curly fries. What more can one say? Who doesn't like curly fries? We sat at the bar waiting for a table. When our table was ready, we decided to stay at the bar and watch the Lakers game (not a Labron fan but they did win). After 3 pints and a full belly, I was done. Chili's restaurant in mililani. Is a nice casual place to get some good food. It's more Tex-Mex. I personally like the barbecue burger, salads and their barbecue combos. They have the best nachos super thin and crispy. But their Pico is over blended and saucy I would like it more chunky so you can see what you're eating. Ambience is nice but sometimes the service is slow. If you're in a rush you should go somewhere else. Pricing is moderate you should expect to spend for two people about 40 to $60. When I can't think of something I want to eat chili's never disappoints. Mililani in my opinion is great the wait isn't very long, the staff are amazing especially our server Liz. We had lunch and our food arrived quick, hot and fresh. There have been times at other locations that our chips are either hard or under cooked. They have always brought new fresh chips if I'd say something but I try not to. My normal triple dipper was yummy and the portions were large enough for me to take home to eat for dinner. This is my first time eating here in several years and I got the fajitas with half chicken and half steak. Although the steak had great seasoning and a smoky taste, it was so chewy that my jaw started hurting by my second taco. The meat was very tough and not something I'd get again, though everything else was good. For the price of the fajitas, I would say it's not worth it for 4 tortillas and some sides. Stopped in for a fast drink but decided to have an early dinner. Lot's of free parking in the lot. The staff greeted us and made as wait 10 minutes until they disinfected our booth. Although there were many open tables, they complied to Covid standards. All staff wore gloves and masks. They had hand sanitizer's by the entrance. Mask was required upon entering. We started off with the endless Salsa & Chips. We had a pitcher of beer along side. Wish they came more often tho, to refill the chips and salsa. We also had a Classic and Smokehouse Burger with French Fries. I also got sliced jalapeños on the side. It upgrades the burger. Burgers were just okay, a little sloppy but I think it's probably just me. They pierced a steak knife through the burger to hold it in place. As we departed the waiting line was getting longer. I'm writing to share a recent experience my two friends and I had at your restaurant that left us uncomfortable. For context, we are three teenage girls who just graduated high school, and we always make a point to be respectful toward food service workers and others in general. When we arrived, I let the hostess know we were a party of three and were seated by an older woman named Cece. From the moment we sat down, she seemed to have a hostile tone, which made us feel uneasy right away. We placed our drink and food orders and waited at our table. While waiting, we were wondering if the chips and salsa were free, as they often are when we dine at Chili's. I saw our server walk by holding plates in her arm which is completely understandable when you're busy, and although I was loud enough, she completely ignored us and continued to keep walking when I politely said, "Excuse me." She then stopped and rolled her eyes at us, which really shocked me, and my friends we all looked at each other in disbelief. I asked, "Do we get chips or do we have to pay for them?" I admit it may not have been the perfect wording, but her response felt unnecessarily rude. She replied, "Well, you guys didn't order chips--they're $9.99," with an attitude. I declined the chips and decided not to ask for anything else afterward because I didn't feel comfortable. Although the food itself was good and she seemed to calm down after that, the discomfort from our earlier interaction stuck with me. I paid for my meal, and on the way out, I said "have a better day" it may not have been necessary, but I felt compelled to say something after she treated us with poor service. I wasn't expecting her to respond, but she did. she followed us outside and asked, "What? What did you say? Were you guys talking to me?" We told her we didn't say anything just to end the interaction. I found it unprofessional and weird that a server would follow guests out of the restaurant. I didn't appreciate her rolling her eyes at me just for simply asking a question. I thought it was a really really uncomfortable dining experience, and no we did not feel the service deserved a tip. But, literally right across from us (family of 3) was being served by him as well & the whole time he was talking to them more, checking up on them more but did not have the same energy towards us. My wife had a late night nacho chips craving (trying to be a good husband) I tried to figure out where I could get some delicious, priced-fairly nachos. The best I could think of was her favorite chips and salsa from Chili's. Normally, we always have an enjoyable time at Chili's but this last visit was a little disappointing. I tried to order via the Chili's app, but it stated that orders with $0 charge must be charged at the location. We had a very large party, three different families and our server allowed us to split our check three ways. The food was delicious as usual. I apologize I really wish I knew our servers name she was so sweet. Upon arrival, you'll have to fill out a piece of paper with your information on it and may have to wait for 15 minutes to 35 minutes. Depending on how busy they're. Due to COVID, they're only allowing a certain amount of people to dine in at a time, everyone is spaced out 6 feet apart (or more) you can also sit at the bar. They ask that you please keep your face mask on until your drinks or food arrive. Our server Samantha had excellent customer service!
