The area was understandably busy with most people centered at Chuy's. I found parking at one of the nearby apartment complexes and walked over. There was a bit of a wait but nothing too excessive. The inside was quite lively. We were seated outside where it was also a nice atmosphere. Of note, there was a woman who had collapsed outside. Not sure if it was the heat, alcohol, underlying medical problem, or a mix of the three but shoutout to Fort Worth EMS for the timely response! Anyways, our server was quick and attentive throughout the meal despite how busy it was. Started off with the mango flavored rocks. Nice and strong, it was definitely enough to be my only drink for the evening. For others in our group, it wasn't enough. Though, as mentioned, our served was always on top of it which was greatly appreciated. Then I got the baja shrimp tacos. They were pretty good. A nice amount of shrimp, good savory flavor with some spice from the jalapeno sauce and some crunch from the cabbage. The rice and beans were standard, solid additions to the meal. I would certainly come back for some solid Tex-Mex!
