My husband and I were served ROTTEN food. It smelled ok and tasted ok while in the building. But within 30 minutes of leaving, we were vomiting and having diarrhea non-stop ! I called the Yuba City location and spoke to the Mgr. Jeanette. She said she would look into the kitchen, etc. We're sick and feel horrible from their new Big Smash burger; we both had the 3 for $10.99 meal and ate the burgers there. I gave her our contact info. They haven't told us anything about a refund for our meal. Eating out is SO expensive and then to have this happen is awful. Family wanted to come here for a Labor Day Monday lunch. We've been here many time before but today was probably our best experience. Perhaps it was due to us getting here right when they opened. We were quickly seated at a booth in the bar area. Drinks came even quicker. Service today was exceptional. Food took a little bit but the chips and salsa kept us occupied. I have been going to Chili's in Yuba City for last month or so and with my husband and sometimes my sons and their families. It has been enjoyable each and everytime! Every single waitress has been so nice and friendly. They wait on you very efficiently. The food menu is great. The hamburgers and chicken sandwiches are excellent. The prices are great. The restaurant is clean and everyone looks happy. I would say about a year ago we were in Chili's saying that we would not return. I'm glad to say that we gave it another try. The manager comes around and checks to see if you are happy with your food. I think she has done an awesome job turning Chili's into a great place to eat again. We love eating here. Servers are always very friendly and helpful. The food at times is a hit or miss. The place is generally well cleaned and sanitary. If you do online order pick ups, make sure to check your bags before you leave because almost always there is at least 1 item missing from it, even when your receipt shows it's been checked. I got a draft beer and wife got the coconut margarita both were good. She ordered the bacon burger and I got a rack of ribs with house bbq sauce. But when the food came out the fries were cold, and we were halfway done before we got new ones. Burger was ok, ribs were very moist and kind of fatty and the house bbq sauce was tasteless. We spent $100, including a $10 tip, for food we did not eat and an experience not worth that amount of money. Although the harsh lighting was hard to adjust to, we tried to make the best of it, and at the least our server was sweet. The food was so bland. We could not tell the difference between the shrimp and the quesadilla. We tried to let this go, but after 3 days, thinking about the food here and how much we paid still leaves a pit in our stomach. Our server moved to the other side of our large party's table to take their orders and staff was already bringing salads that were just ordered to the opposite side. The food is unlike what we expected from our Chili's experiences of 5-10 years ago. It was flavorful, fresh, and interesting. The honey chipotle crispers are excellent. Add waffles with syrup and the texture and taste profiles pop. I finally had their original barbecue ribs after having their restaurant's "Chili's baby back ribs" song stuck in my head several hundred times over the years. I wasn't very impressed with the flavor but the ribs were cooked perfectly. I would try another sauce next time. Everyone enjoyed their food. Ordered the Triple appetizer I got the original crispers the sliders and the southwest egg Rolls triple appetizer which contained the original chicken crispers, sliders, and the southwest egg Rolls. None of it was crispy at all. I was actually early for my pick up so you can't blame it on the timing. The chicken crispers were very salty. The only reason I came here was because my husband orders the boneless chicken wings which he likes. I think next time I'll go to a "wing" place as it's not worth it. I have not been here for a few months. I decided to phone in an order instead of doing online. The order process was very easy and went smoothly. I ordered the 6 oz. steak medium, but they were out of asparagus so I got the coleslaw instead. It took about 20 minutes to get the order ready. Well, I got home and started eating the steak but it was very tough and I would say it was over cooked. But what really had me peeved was the amount of coleslaw I received. It barely filled half the container, come on it's just coleslaw how expensive is that? I paid 12.99 plus I gave them a 18% tip. If order the same thing next time I will check before I leave and ask for the container to be filled to the top. Totally disappointed with my dinner, next time no tip whatsoever. read more

When my goddaughter and I walked in, we were greeted promptly by a friendly hostess. Likewise, the staff who waited on us. I started off with a Premium Long Island Iced Tea for myself. My goddaughter had water only. My iced tea was cold and refreshing, especially on a hot afternoon. I ordered the Tripple Dipper (Big Mouth Bites, Southwestern Eggrolls and Spinach & Artichoke Dip), and my goddaughter had the Boneless Buffalo Chicken Salad. We had a great time at this location. My goddaughter, however, is more generous in her ratings because she tends to rate her experience with 5 stars. Maybe because she's enjoying her time with me. Hmm... The Rating Reasoning Chilis has a vegetarian menu. Yup, an entire menu, which is basically a version of all their dishes veggie style usually subbing a veggie meat or tofu for the meat on the dish. To be honest, I'm not even sure who or how to be upset at the situation my husband and I encountered last night. We decided to grab dinner after the movies and chose to come here because I like how they cook their steak. Anyhow, we were directed to a booth and were sitting next to another couple. Immediately we can tell they were obnoxious and definitely needy and rude. As the female was using profanity and attitude to place her order with the waiter. The waiter asked a question and the female responded with "Can you fu--ken speak English instead of Chinese" while laughing. The waitress was a Caucasian lady, by the way and I can tell she was shocked but gave the crazy lady a weak smile. Moments later, the same waitress brings out the crazy lady's food and then before leaving asked her if she needed anything else. Crazy lady asked for chopsticks to eat her dinner. Her pathetic boyfriend laughs and she laughs, looked at me, eye to eye and said Hi. The waitress smiled again and walked away. 3rd strike is when I totally flipped and went to ask a worker if we can sit somewhere else. My husband is sitting where is back is facing them. All of a sudden he gets up and starts yelling at them. The crazy couple is literally laughing their heads off and are pointing fingers at each other. I asked my husband what happened, and he said they threw some rice at my back. I got up looked at his seat and sure enough saw rice. I was livid. I thought about throwing my wings at the crazy boyfriend but knew it would only get worse if I do. So I decided to just ask if we can be moved to a different table. Our waiter came and apologized and asked what happened. I explained to her what happened and she apologized and said their manager has been notified of the situation.
