If I could give it zero stars I would. Since Covid-19 I rarely come out, decided to go to Chili's last night to just get out the house and enjoy my family. Horrible experience. So we were sat down at a table and after about 25 min of sitting know one ever came to the table and asked us a question. So we noticed 3 family's had been seated 25 min after we were seated. Looked up and the waitress had took all of their orders so I saw a guy his name was Jake and I said excuse me is this your section he replied no and we told him the situation and he apologize and took our order. Jake was a really nice guy, well mannered and great customer service, so time went by forever and the servers was bringing out food left and right and after 30 more minutes we were like where is our food. So we waited and waited and then Jake came back by out of his area because he just saw us once again sitting there and he went and got our food and yes of course it was cold. So we just bagged it up to leave. I asked to speak to a manager and the General Manager came out and I explained the situation of poor service and his response was; I think I am going to talk to my staff about closing half the restaurant down so we can be able to serve our customers in a timely manner. really.... guess who will never get my $$$$ again. The point was we were there 25 minutes seated and 3 family's came got seated and served while we were still waiting and he did not see an apology or a problem.... It's chili's. Great prices. Always busy...our waiter would not stop coming by and say "okay I'm going to 'catch up' I'll be back." That was weird like not rude or anything he just said it a lot. A couple drinks and an order of guac, salsa and chips helped pass the half hour to wait before meeting up w the rest of us. The chips were thin and light, not grease-laden. I'm stationed at Beale, AFB which is about a 25 minute drive from this Chili's. For some ungodly reason everyone always picks Chili's to have office/going away luncheons at. I've ate here probably 10+ times in the past year, none by choice. The only food item I've ever ordered that I thoroughly enjoyed was the Texas Cheese Fries, which are extremely delicious. Whenever I am forced to go there, I just get a half order of these babies and eat them as my main course meal. It's only an appetizer but at least it stops me from overpaying for a half assed entree that tastes just like that, half an ass. You know your restaurant sucks when it's right next to an In n Out and every time a customer leaves(well at least me) they are wishing they got In n Out instead. The food is overpriced for it's quality. The overall Chili's experience is a let down. Don't waste your time or your money. read more

I was surprisingly impressed with this Chilis...y'all know I don't frequent chain restaurants due to the fact that they lack in originality and always taste really bad. I went here on a double date with my boyfriend, and an airmen buddy and his wife, and we all received quite the service. We constantly got refills on our beverages and was always asked if we needed anything. Our waitress didn't seem to mind that we were all busy talking to decide what we wanted. I was very much impressed with how polite she was. Now for the food, I don't really know how to judge this in that I just stick with the normal salads when I am at a chain restaurant because its very easy to not screw it up. However my boyfriend got the grilled salmon and he said it was prepared very well. So perhaps get the salmon? read more

About five of us came here for an afternoon lunch and drinks recently. We all ordered a different entree, but all of the food was equally bad. Dry burgers, parched ribs and unflattering drinks. Good news is that it was pretty affordable and service was responsive and quick. So, two stars for the great employees and ambiance. The food was bad though, and I generally enjoy chain-type restaurants like this. And by bad, I mean frozen, then heated up in a microwave bad. I've never had a problem at chilis, in fact it's my go to place most times. My sister and I went to get apps before our movie, our waiter was rude and our food took 30 mins to get there we ended up asking for Togo containers that took another ten minutes to get there. Today 3/1/19 I ordered my dinner online for curb side pick up. My chips were hard,among other things. But what got me most was my spinach queso dip. I would have given this review 3 stars but I cannot get past the bad service. My food, a salad was good. I came in on a Sunday evening and sat at the bar. The bartender saw me but proceeded to have a conversation with a gentleman. She then texted on her phone, got some drinks for waitresses and about 12 mins later decided to acknowledge me by throwing a menu you at me. About 10 mins later she took my order and that was the extent of our interaction. She was certainly friendly to all the male patrons at the bar. When my food arrived someone else delivered it. She never checked on me, the manager came behind the bar at some point, saw her texting and never said a word. Apparently he thinks poor customer service is ok. read more

Oh I really liked the service and the food the waitress was very busy but still took the time for us to get the right choices for my guess and I as this was my first in a long time being in a chili's restaurant my lady friend had been there before with friends but never dad ordered on her own and was not fluent in tiff English language. So I and single salmon meal fir the two of and three piece appetizer and everything was perfect. Even the amount of time for our food to get to our table which great because my date was on her lunch break. The outing could not have been better. Chilis opened in Yuba City a few months ago. The first couple of times I went it was ok. Food was not as good as the one off of Truxell. Last visit there the waitress came back to our table three times to inform myself and another person that our food items we chose (Can choose three items/make your own sampler) were not available, and then when we got what we didn't want, it was cold! No empathy, no sympathy, but did get one meal comped. Waitress was extremely dingy, and was very offended when my friend complained to the manager. It was justified though! I mean, come on, she added 20+ minutes on to our wait time as a result of her lack of follow up. Not like the 40 minute wait outside wasn't long enough. Needless to say, no tip was left by any of us at the table. Very disappointing. I will stick to Red Robin. read more

My experience at Chili's was great! I had my usual soup and salad which is served all you can eat. It was just enough after consuming 2 bowls of soup, a salad and chips. The Southwestern Soup is flavorful and filling. I use Salsa for a salad dressing. It is low in calories, flavor packed, and more nutritious than regular salad dressings. The service was always wonderful because it was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was clean and cheerful. Chili's has been a favorite restaurants for mine for years. read more

This place is usually a hit and miss for me... Second to last time going there, I only went due to a Chili's gives back night, where a portion of the profits went to a local charity. When we went to pay, we showed our waitress the charity's flyer and she seemed a cross between confused and annoyed. My thought is, if your establishment teams up to do charity nights, at least make sure your wait staff understands beforehand and a little enthusiasm goes a long way, in my book. The food here has always been typical chain restaurant style, to me. Our last visit was on July 4th...hubby and I stopped for a quick bite to eat. The watermelon blueberry margarita was a disappointment...it seemed the large glass had a splash of margarita and enough ice to build an igloo. The waiter brought my husband a coke, when he actually ordered a tall beer on tap...The mistake was quickly taken care of. The chips and salsa, our usual go to, was good. Our entrees arrived in a slow amount of time, which was surprising because the place was not too busy. Our food was plentiful but the taste was just ordinary. The leftovers weren't even worth getting a doggy bag for. Overall, I'm sure I will be back to Chili's again and I will still leave wondering "why did I go here, again?" read more

Great food; great service! Came here today with some friends for a late lunch. It wasn't so crowed yet not dead either. I ordered the rack of Original baby back ribs. Delicious. They allowed me to substitute the fries with mashed potatoes and broccoli. All was tasty and served very quickly. Our server, Juan, was attentive and very much "on top of his game". He returned to our table numerous times to check in on us. He provided refills before even asking. Again, this is one of my pet peeves when they do not do this. So, he was awesome. This was a really nice trip for us! We are out of town and decided on Chili's; I'm so glad we did. The food was great and it seems like portions have actually gotten bigger since I last went. The customer service, however, is the reason for the 5-star review. Our server, Cindy, was great. She was attentive but not too attentive (always checking in to the point where it's annoying); it was just right. She was really nice and personable. You would be happy to have her as your server. The food is good. The inside is still usually pretty dirty. They have gotten better at getting everything right in your togo order. However, they will always tell you the wait time is 15-20 minutes even when it's super busy and you will end up sitting outside in your car for like 30+ minutes. When we first walked in there was no hostess to greet us but it took no more than a couple of minutes before one did. For someone who is the first point of contact, she did not seem very friendly, but our server made up for it. Our server, John, was quick and attentive to the table (also a rarity these days since the kiosks came into play, in my opinion). We ordered a long island iced tea ($7.55) and a classic margarita ($5.49). For our food options we decided to go with a promotion that they have that includes two Presidente margaritas, an appetizer (half order of texas cheese fries) and two full sized entrees (six oz. sirloin with broccoli and skillet mashed potatoes) and cajun chicken pasta) off of their "two for $20" menu, and a dessert to share (toffee skillet brownie with vanilla ice cream) ($35). Our daughter had a pepperoni pizza, corn kernels and milk from the kids' menu ($5.29). I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out a little more red than I anticipated. The server took the plate in no problem and had them sear it for just a bit more. The skillet mashed potatoes were very yummy. I hadn't been to Chili's in a while and was skeptical at first, but they turned out great. Broccoli was salty. The dessert was very rich, but I loved that it was included in the meal deal. It was more than enough to split between two people and a toddler. Our server was great the entire meal; he was very thorough and checked up on us frequently. There is nothing "unique" about Chili's; it's a mainstream eatery that most are familiar with. However, the four stars comes with decent food, great service (even with the steak hiccup) and an atmosphere where we could take a toddler (or as most parents may know them as ticking time bombs - no matter how well behaved the child is normally). read more
