Mr Chin helped move us from a 3 bedroom 2 bath home in San Gabriel Valley to a two story home in Orange County. He came with 3 other movers, and charged a flat rate that was a couple hundred dollars lower than the average quote I received. I reached out to at least 10 different moving companies. I read through some of the bad reviews, and they are mostly for customer service. Well, Mr Chin was early, communicative, and just a pleasure to work with. They were able to move everything without any scuffs or damage to our newly remodeled home. They also did this quicker than anticipated. THE BEST MOVERS. Mr. Chin and the 3 movers that came with him were extremely professional. They packed our 2 story home securely, quickly, and carefully. The process was flawless, from booking to moving. We were worried about some of our furnitures being damaged and all the movers were super careful. They even knew how to dismantle our bed frames and put it back together (we did not even know they could do that!). These guys have so many skills and they were strong and reliable. Wow! What a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Mr Chin said he would take care of everything, that's his job, and he did. We moved my still quite able 90 year old parents from California to Utah, after months of down sizing a lifetime of stuff in their home of 54 years. Mr. Chin, Gipper, and crew proved to be a true blessing to us! Anyone who has experienced this sort of move might know how emotional and stressful it can get at times. We actually got through the downsizing and packing pretty well, no drama. Thanking the good Lord for that! It was bittersweet saying goodbye to their many longtime church and neighborhood friends. The nightmare began when I started trying to hire a reputable mover. Mr. Chin had been referred to us but was initially unavailable. These guys were amazing! They worked for two days straight, hustling hard until the very end of each day. They not only moved us, they helped pack boxes and shelves that we did not even have ready. They also helped reassemble furniture in our new house. They took extra care of fragile items, and they hauled items to storage and trash to the donation center. Chin moving was recommended to us by our realtors, and it was the right move. We moved into 4200 square foot house that is three stories, and Chin moving was so fast and helpful. It was the largest and easiest move we've ever had. We didn't have to remove drawers as they were able to plastic wrap everything, and they were able to haul off junk we were going to get rid of. They even offered to help to get things off of the top of our garage having to go up a ladder. We started our move at 10am and we were all done by 3pm (with the half hour commute to the new house). My husband and I were downsizing from a 2 bedroom condo to a one bedroom apartment and there were many things that needed to go to storage and then on to our new place. He also made sure there was plenty of room for us to get to items we would need and placed those items for easier access. Mr. Chin made moving from a 4-bedroom single story house to a 5-bedroom two-story house (with a 2 and 5 year old) incredibly easy. He was recommended by my mother-in-law, who works with several families that have used his services in the past, and he was able to come give us a moving quote quickly. We booked him 2 weeks before we moved, and he did everything he promised he would do AND MORE. We expected him to show up with one or two other people to move all of our furniture and a good portion of our heavy/cumbersome boxes. He showed up with a crew of 4 strong men (I think it was 4...they honestly never stopped moving so it was hard to keep track), a large truck, moving blankets, packing tape, extra boxes (in case we needed a few extra-which we did), and some kind of seran-wrap looking stuff that they used to wrap every piece of furniture. Not only did he help us pack some last minute stuff, but he managed his crew seamlessly as they quickly loaded and unloaded all of our stuff. Never in my life have I imagined there could be a crew of movers that seemed to care as much about your belongings, door frames, ceilings, and floors as these guys. They took such care not to bump boxes and furniture into walls and doors. That means a lot when you just finished doing a bunch of work on your new home. There's no review that could accurately describe what a great operation he runs. His crew is so kind and helpful, and they work extremely hard and in a professional manner. You can tell that they all feel appreciated, respected, and grateful. We asked Mr. Chin a few times if we could provide water or food for his crew, but he said that he already takes care of that. I asked one of the men what was for lunch, and he said they never know until lunch because Mr. Chin's wife prepares home-cooked meals for all of them. I mean, really? They are all such wonderful people. If you end up hiring Mr. Chin, make sure you have some extra cash on hand to tip his crew. They typically do 2 moves per day (if local), and with such affordable prices, they deserve anything extra you can throw their way. We tried to scramble to find extra cash during the move because we were so impressed, but since we don't keep cash in the house, I promised to help spread the word about his great service in addition to the cash we were able to dig out of pockets and wallets.
