Everything was wrapped properly and nothing got broken, no hidden fees or charges.Unfortunately, some moving companies will not tell you about certain charges unless you ask (which of course is a red flag). You should ask if your estimate includes fuel, travel time, insurance, stairs and/or elevators and packing of your boxes if needed. All these items SHOULD be listed on your estimate that is in writing but if they are not be sure to ask about them. Had a great experience with our move yesterday. Joe, Steve and Larry were a great group of guys who worked really hard while also providing a laugh here and there. They were super careful with our furniture and our home. Even though the move went pretty late into the night and you could tell they were getting tired they still were super careful and professional. Leo and Lorenzo were very efficient, reliable, friendly, and helpful. They arrived right on the scheduled time frame. They were very careful on each piece of furniture. They disassembled my furniture and assembled it back just the way it is. All appliances and furnitures were padded and wrapped, made sure everything is well protected during the moving process. Even laid out floor pads when moving stuff so they don't scratch the wood floors. All work has been done as per request, even offered if any additional help is needed. This family own company responded to my call for a quote in one day. We had these guys move my mother-in-law's items from her house in Long Beach area to an assisted living apartment in the Los Angeles area. First of all, they were able to arrange for a quick local move - originally they said it could be done within 3 days, which was a huge selling point for us because some other companies said it could take 10 days to 2 weeks, which really wouldn't have worked for us. They actually ended up packing it one day and delivering it to her new apartment the following day, so it was really quick. They even set up her bed frame and mattress/box spring in the master bedroom, which is a first for my moves (I usually end up re-assembling the frame myself). They also set up my glass entertainment center (removable shelves), when in the past I've had to put the shelves back in myself. Now that I have had professionals who think about what they are doing and use their brains as much as their brawn, I will never go back.
