The general Tso's chicken is balls of chicken not much sauce not tasty . Fried rice no vegetables looked like brown rice ..Boneless spare ribs were like jerky no taste . I happened to check on Yelp for any new nearby places and saw the lower stars for China 1... and promptly felt the need to add my own review. There are at least 5 Chinese food restaurants around this area and THIS one is my go-to. And there is a reason for this. Unlike all of the other places (sorry but it's the truth) the staff is actually friendly, the portions are very good, the prices seem to be about standard compared to what I have seen elsewhere, and... frankly I like their taste the best. Don't even ask me how many times I have wanted to return meals from 2 other nearby Chinese restaurants, including 1 that is half a block from my house. If you don't clean your fryers, we can TASTE it in our food, people! Forget that the others overcook, forget items, don't listen when you ask for something to be left out of it (cause, you know, ALLERGIES are a thing). The one nearby me gets enough business that I start to wonder WHY, since I have yet (and I have been there half dozen times) to have rice that doesn't taste old, or wontons, crab rangoons, eggrolls, or sweet and sour chicken that are not flat out overcooked. As in: "Honey I can't even bite this, do you want it? No? Crap, we need to throw it out then." Know the ONE place I have never had that issue with? China 1. Their soup is excellent (love their wonton soup) and we do their lunch specials often so that we can try new things. We always get crab rangoons then use the coupon to get an extra for free (cause we will battle over those lol). Their egg foo young is tender and chocked full, their rice is consistently good - no dry hard pieces unlike the other place near me. Their lo meins are flavorful (and LOTS of meat), excellent chop sueys, there spicy items are flavorful and tasty, and... Well after writing this I am thinking to call and order a wonton soup and a Pupu platter now lol. No, I don't intend to share unless my partner catches me eating it and guilts me. Just sayin'. I have never been here before. The general tso chicken tasted like it had been sitting around since yesterday. It was bland, and even the rice was bland as well. It tasted like frozen chicken was used and then a tiny bit of sauce was in the tray and not in the chicken. The service was great and speedy. The employees are very nice. I ordered a bourbon chicken combo meal. I also ordered the krab rangoon. I don't normally order from them but, I used the Uber app and mistakenly placed an order with them instead of my normal Chinese restaurant. I will not make that mistake again. The chicken in the bourbon chicken was hard and dried out and there was very little bourbon sauce to flavor the chicken. The egg roll tasted like it had been heated in the oven from a frozen box or bag of egg rolls. The krab rangoon was a triangle of the wonton wrapper that had a very little filling in 5 out of the 8 in the order and the other 3 had no filling. These also tasted like they were baked from a frozen bag. I was completely disappointed with the food in my order and will make certain never to order from them again. I am not a generally critical person but, this food was so bad that I wanted to make others aware of what they could expect if ordering from China 1. First if all. My order was cold. I got a qt Of pork fried rice, 2 egg rolls, a qt. Egg drop soup. I called in the order. I asked for an extra bag of noodles that cost 75 cents which I don't think I should've paid for since I only got one bag with my order. When I got home, my egg drop soup and fried rice was cold and the bag of noodles I bought was half the size as the one I got with my order must've been5 months old and stale. No Spoons or Forks. I am speechless. The food taste great. My drink was nice and cold. But to make a delivery and no utensils. The reason given, when we deliver to homes we expect them to have spoons and forks. Well that makes complete sense. My issue is I told you I work outside and this is not my residence. A solid 3 stars. We called our order in and had it delivered. The delivery time was accurate and the food was hot and fresh. Neither of us could finish our dinner with plenty leftover for lunch tomorrow. The customer service was nice as it is hard to really get a true feel of the place with a delivery order. I give 1 star for bad customer service. We ordered on the phone they got the order wrong and didn't give us a quart of fried rice like we asked for and no receipt. We brought the food back and they charged us for there mess up for the fried rice we didn't get. I recommend if your going to order dont do it by phone because they dont pay attention and have zero customer service skills. Definitely take-out only. There is NO silverware, only very cheap plastic utinsels. Imagine eating Hot and Sour soup with a small plastic spoon with a sharp edge. I cut my upper lip on both sides after just three spoons. The order girl got my order wrong and I was brought WonTon soup after 10 minutes. They took it back and brought the Hot and Sour in another 5 minutes. The Kung Po was very average, with virtually no pork in the rice and no hot peppers. I'm not sure if they serve water and tea, and if they do most likely in a paper cup. Food is served on a cafeteria tray with no napkins, salt, pepper, soy, etc. on the tables. There is no music and no ambiance. There are much better choices in Titusville. read more

I know they are Fairly new.....so I gave them two stars instead of one in the hopes the issues get resolved. My wife and I were really excited for a new Chinese place it titusvile as we are not happy with any of the others. Well....China 1 did not impress:( Crab Rangoons were so bland, duck sauce...no flavor, which of course made the shrimp fried rice boring......fried crab tasted like imitation crab. Boneless spare ribs were the only saving grace for our meal. I'm not saying it was horrible.....everything was just super bland, and for my family, if your duck sauce and Rangoons aren't good.....you lose our vote. will try again in a month or two....hopefully I can change my review. Recommend it 100%. Placing an order was fast and easy. Delivery was within 30 minutes. Food was delicious and all special orders were fulfilled. I asked for no scallions in chicken noodle soup, extra pork in sweet and sour soup. And a lots of sauce on the side. Everything was delivered according to it which is really surprising. If I lived in the area I would order from them all the time. Delicious and easy to order because they have American girls working there. I am not a racist. This place just opened and it's definitely the best in town now.The other chinese food restaurants in Titusville are pretty disappointing and half of them don't deliver.
