All week long, I've been CRAVING a teriyaki chicken bowl. I tried a new place earlier in the week and was very disappointed. A few days later, I wanted to give China a Go Go a shot to see if their bowls are up to standard. Sure as heck, the bowl was everything my tastebuds wanted. REDEMPTION!! I've honestly never had a bad meal here. My family and I get this often and it always hits the spot and you get a ton of food for what you're shelling out. We always order the following: Mongolian beef, combination fried rice, combination chow mein, egg foo young, potstickers, salt and pepper shrimp, and then some random dish. We have also had their salads and chicken teriyaki bowls which are huge! The food is always delicious and made incredibly quickly. I would say their salads are a bit weird but the taste is there so it doesn't really bother me. It may be because I haven't been to too many Chinese places around town or it could be because their food is really good, either way, this is by far my favorite spot in town for some Chinese. read more

China Go Go serves a good lunch special up to 4 PM. Many times when I work an earlier shift, and could make it to China Go Go by 4 PM., I take advantage of the special. There is a variety of entrees. Unfortunately not chow mien or lo mien. Included is the soup of the day-usually Egg Drop, noodles, and fried rice. My favorite is shrimp chop suey. Their shrimp is tasty. Just like Panda Express a shrimp entree is slightly more money. With a beverage, I pay a little over $7 for good Chinese food. read more

Got the sliced BBQ pork/boneless spare ribs, and the Crab Rangoon appetizer. When I opened the box I was shocked usually at Chinese takeout places you only get fried rice, here they give rice AND noodles! Plenty of food and the pork was delicious. The portions were smaller than I'm used to getting at other places, but the flavor was the same. I had the orange chicken and can't say it was something special. I used to love this restaurant...and believe I wrote a great review in the past. I started going to another, similar restaurant closer to my home, so haven't been back to this one in about a year. I recently moved closer to this restaurant, so I ordered delivered food a couple of weeks ago and it was terrible. I mean, really bad. I had to throw most of it away. The hot and sour soup was inedible and the tofu in another meal was so tough I couldn't chew it. I decided to give it another chance, and invited a friend to have lunch in the restaurant a few days ago. Again, the food was almost inedible. The (usually - in the past tender) chicken was (instead) deep fried and so hard my friend spit it out. My food was also very poor. I was shocked. I have never left a Chinese restaurant without asking for a doggy bag to-go. My friend and I pushed the food away and couldn't wait to leave. What is going on with this (formerly) superb restaurant? Let's put it this way: I won't be going back there or ordering out from it. Also, it seems like it could be under a different management. I didn't recognize most of the staff. I don't like to write negative reviews. It's not my style. But honestly, I can't let other diners go there without a warning. Sorry. I have to give this place a specific shout out for the way the take call in orders and package food to go. My family and I have frequented this place for years and it is consistently good neighborhood Chinese food. During the week they have fantastic lunch specials (I believe from 11-4pm, M-F) and we called in an orders four potentially complicated entree combinations and the gentleman on the phone was so patient and thorough to include reading the order back at the end to ensure accuracy. My mom went to pick it up about 12 minutes later and everything was ready and packaged very well. They use the reusable plastic container and lid with separate compartments for chicken and chow mein/rice. Everything was fresh and tasty and just as important, exactly as we'd ordered. It can be so frustrating to get home only to discover your order being incorrect but this place is on the ball with proper methods in place to ensure that doesn't happen. Thank you! read more

The food here is fantastic!! I've yet to get a bad entree. This time we tried the combination fried rice, yummm!! It had loads of shrimp, pork and chicken. We always get the Mongolian beef, hot garlic shrimp, teriyaki chicken bowl and sweet and sour pork, then add a couple more that suit our fancy if the day. I'd give it 5 star, but a couple things drop it a notch. I always get take out, and they never put chopsticks in the bag. If I forget to ask, no chopsticks. I get if they are wanting to save a buck on giving them to people that don't use them, but ask at pick up if you'd like chopsticks! Also, the sitting area is a bit dingy. I know there is a lot of frying and cooking going in in there, but a good degreaser once a month in the lobby would be an asset!! So, I highly recommend take out from this place!! I appreciate the fast friendly service with delicious options on the extensive menu. It's convenient to get their great food for take out. China a Go Go also is a nice place to sit down and eat with friends, enjoy a family dinner or dine with colleagues for a business lunch. We recently moved to the area and we're grateful to find an amazing restaurant nearby. They were kind enough to give us streamed rice for 1 of our rescue dogs for her upset tummy. horrible service. I go often to China A Go Go, first time at this specific location. after ordering I seen a $2 charge for " EXTRA CHARGE" when asked what it's for I was told my request to have no veggies. I thought this was odd but accepted it and drove home. when I get home, I ordered 2 meals and received only one rice. I called the location and was hung up on when the clerk seemed to get frustrated. I went back to the location, to ask who hung up and to explain the order. while the cashier was explaining the female owner snatched the bag of food out my boyfriends had and threw it on the floor. at this point I requested my refund of $32.35 and she was refusing. so now I have no food or my original form of payment. the situation got so bad, Henderson police responded and advised she was in the wrong. the owner then began yelling at everyone, police included then walked up to me and shoved money in my hand . when I tried to give back proper change she yelled more and the police advised us to leave. don't think I'll be going to a China a Go Go anytime soon unfortunately. read more
