My dad and mom live down the street and always come here for their large shrimp fried rice( 2+ at a time $24) they switched from their regular shrimp fried rice place because it was further but honestly they should just go back to Rice to Go because they give them free chili oil- and a lot of it. this place is stingy with chili oil sauce- we are buying 2 large rices and get no chili oil sauce, the cashier told me she could give me "1" free FOR TWO RICES? How does that make sense I am feeding multiple people. She had to charge me for the extra 3 I ordered. Terrible. They need to fix that or are losing $24 weekly. read more

I have had great experiences at other locations. This location didn't measure up. The place is dirty, soy sauce bottles mostly empty and customer service doesn't come with a smile, a hello or helpful suggestion. My order was fine. My companion's food, combo chow mein, all the proteins were cold. You want your beef, shrimp and chicken hot, period. No stops by the table to see how the food is or if we need a to go container. While the food was hot when we picked it up and it smelled delicious, we were very disappointed when we got it home the egg foo Young which normally is round with pork and everything in it looked like a zucchini bread in squares with no flavor at all the general tso chicken was the worst. It looked like overcooked chicken that had very little sauce on it and overcooked. Nothing on the pieces, barely at all. The crab Rangoons were good so I give it credit there. The beef fried rice had big pieces of beef in it, which was a little strange to me, but that was fine and the Mongolian beef looked good Just could use a little more flavor as well. Nobody really wanted to eat it because it was all so bland so to me. It was a waste of $61. I think they should get a new Cook if they want to stay in business and don't serve somebody's old chicken that has been reheated up.Very disappointed in the place read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this location considering other China A Go Gos that I have visited. This is a typical Chinese American take-out restaurant; however, they do have a nice small dining room for eating in. This location is in a strip mall by the Smith's at Flamingo and Fort Apache. I thought it would be wise that I do not shop at Smith's while I was starving. Always a good idea not to shop hungry. There are booths and tables available and is very clean. This location has a nice lunch menu that includes a bowl of soup when you dine in, and the entree portion was generous. I ordered beef and broccoli, and it was very tasty. The side dishes offered were fried rice/noodles or steamed white rice. They are very accommodating. The service was good considering I expected to be called to the counter when my order was ready, but surprisingly my lunch was brought to me while I waited. I will be returning as I want to try their versions of my favorite dishes. read more

I rarely use Uber Eats , but they had a Special and I wasn't feeling motivated enough to leave the house to get food which is rare for me. Anyway , I've heard about China A Go Go before and decided to try it. I love Chinese and Thai Food. My go to is General Tso's Chicken , so I ordered that with the Refried Rice and an order of Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings. I got my order pretty quickly since I don't live very far and I guess they weren't that busy last week. Okay here we go. The portions of my General Tso's Chicken and Fried Rice were large. Good start right. Well the taste was not really up to par. First thing I noticed was there was no Bell Peppers , but instead a good amount of Broccoli. Some places do put Broccoli in their General Tso's Chicken , but usually there is a generous amount of Green Bell Peppers and Pineapple. This did have some Pineapple , but not a lot. The Broccoli overpowered the taste of the Chicken so much and I did ask for Hot which it was a little but it just tasted funny. The Fried Rice was old tasting and not very good. It was Regular not Chicken , Pork , or Combination. It was an upgraded from the White Rice. I should have just stuck with the White Rice. The Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings were the winner. They were meaty and tasted pretty good and they had a little shredded green flakes on it maybe green onions and tiny sliced jalapenos. I ate almost half of everything since I was hungry , but threw away the General Tso's Chicken and the Fried Rice. I usually would save to eat the next day. I did keep a couple of the Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings to eat the next day. All in all this was not a good experience. I cannot recommend and won't be returning which is unfortunate since it is close to where I live. We ordered from Uber eats. We started with the Chicken and Vegetable Lettuce Wraps. You have a choice of Chicken, Veggie or Combo. We chose the Combo. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the combo had shrimp in it. The portion of the filling was enormous. It was enough to fill 4 times the amount of lettuce they gave us. It was tasty too. The sauce was not the normal runny sauce I'm used to getting with Lettuce Wraps. It was like a hoisin sauce which made the Lettuce Wraps taste like Moo Shu chicken with lettuce instead of wraps. I ate the leftover filling over rice for lunch the next day. We received bogo Egg rolls that my husband said tasted good but they made a mistake that so many restaurants do with fried foods. They don't poke air holes in the containers to let the steam escape thus preventing soggy fried foods. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was great. We got a half order for free. The Hot and Sour Soup was the best that I have had in a longtime. It had the right amount of spice and sour without too much of either. The Salt and Pepper Pork Chops were Fabulous they were flavorful and tender. They gave a very generous portion as well. We also got Thai Iced Tea and Brown Sugar Milk Boba. Both were Yummy and bogo. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would. But since I couldn't I decided to round up because of the specials and bogo offers they gave. Be nice to ones that are nice. read more

Horrible experience and will not go back. This is our second time ordering from this location. First time was good so we went back. Different experience this time. Soup and egg rolls were good. However Hong Kong noodle lacked flavor but was at least edible. The cashew chicken was horrible two bites were taken and the rest went into the garbage. It was so sweet almost like salt was misplaced with sugar. I order cashew chicken all the time and it is never sweet. We called the restaurant to let them know about the dish and the manager provided the worst customer service. He wanted me to drive back across town with the dish or he wouldn't do anything. I don't care for the local Chinese take out places around me in Spring Valley. I even live fairly close to Chinatown but refuse to go there with all the Dirty Dining reports. When I got a flyer announcing China A Go Go opening near me I thought I'd have a go at it since the other places are bad. I was very pleasantly surprised! I ordered the NY Chow Mein and BBQ pork fried rice. It was made to order very quickly and turned out to be a large portion of each. It was delicious, just the way I like it too--large strips of white meat chicken, lots of vegetables in a white sauce that I haven't had in many years and love! The rice was good although I would've preferred a bit more pork and a lot less egg. Not a deal breaker, I'd order again. My only complaint was that NY chow mein is served with crispy noodles not soft cooked. I got home and there weren't any crispy noodles in my bag. I didn't want to go all the way back and let the food get cold. Not to mention the traffic, cost of gas to go back, possibly having to wait in line to get the noodles... I did get really mad about that. After all, the chow mein needed noodles. I took a star off for that reason. I feel like I should take 2 stars off because I was so mad and didn't enjoy the chow mein as much as I wanted to BUT, that said, it really was very good despite the lack of crunchy noodles I like to have with it. The woman at the register was nice. She could've smiled when she greeted me. Oh well. Clean place. Not many tables for eating in. Lunch and dinner specials seem reasonable but dine in only. With about enough room for a dozen people comfortably that makes dine in tricky. Not to mention that this is definitely NOT a restaurant like you would think of when dining out. This is a take out place with a few tables and no atmosphere and no service. Want something? Go ask for it between customers at the register. It would've been really nice if they set it up differently to accommodate both and make it more appealing to eat there. I'd take my family there for dinner specials if I felt it would be a good experience. So, we are forced to pay more, take home and hope that everything is in the order and what is ordered so we don't have to go back. Like my missing noodles that I didn't go back for while my dinner gets cold. Hopefully this location stays clean and the food fresh. I'd definitely go back for take out. Next time I'll ask for the noodles so I can enjoy my food even more. read more
