I had ordered the beef lo main from this place and while i was eating, i had a piece of metal wire in the noodles. I could've mistaken it for a piece of noodle! This is not right and when i called up the place the lady had some attitude about it and wasn't trying to help us get a new plate of food, instead they wanted to only refund it. Everything here from Atmosphere, to Dishes, to the Staff.... just amazing! The staff always greet you nicely and their always considerate. They do tend to get super busy and prices can spike (due to being Kosher) *No Complaints here The Chinese/Japanese cuisine is my favorite! China Bistro has always been my favorite Chinese restaurant in Florida. I went to their old location like every other weekend when it was open and I always left satisfied. Their old location was at The Shoppes at Waterways in Aventura. At the old location they had alcohol as well, which at the new one they do not, but it's okay. Each of the dishes are tasty in there own unique way. My personal fave is the Pokè Bowl. I love it! I can eat it every day and not get sick of it lmao Some other dishes they have which I love are Pad Thai, Veggie Spring Rolls, Hot & Sour Soup, Honey Chicken, and more. Great food, yet service could be a little more attentive. Unique twists on well-known Asian dishes, like Kung Pao Chicken Tacos, which included avocado and cucumber. The standard dishes we tried like Won Ton Soup and Pad Thai were also great, colorful, tasty, and hot. All the food was fresh, hot, attractively presented. Some of the best kosher Asian food I've had. For all the servers running around the small dining room, service came up a bit short. We waited about 10 minutes for menus at a table with no plates, utensils, until I went up and grabbed menus myself. My appetizer arrived about 5 minutes after those of the others at the table, but my entree came out just two minutes after my appetizer, before entrees of others at the table. At least the food stayed warm enough to enjoy it all. Timing of service could be better coordinated. A few people wanted just tap water, but it was served room temperature; we asked for ice but none was available. In a warm climate state like Florida, no ice in a restaurant? Seriously? And we waited so long for the check that we started joking that the food must be free. If they get the service tuned up, it will be worth a fifth star from me. Wonton soup was ok decent flavor. Chicken egg roll was fresh and really good. We had the tangerine beef was was supposed to be spicy but wasn't. Dish tasted good and was freshly made as was then cashew chicken. Service was attentive although woefully understaffed. Only reason this was 3 star vs 4 was due to the inability to serve the food properly. Was tough to enjoy the soup and egg roll brought out ten minutes AFTER the main course to a table so packed with food. Edamame appetizer was brought out last when we were more than halfway done. Will be back as the food was good and fresh. Hopefully the kitchen will figure out how to properly cook everything and have served timely. read more

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have received take out from this restaurant. In summary the food is very good, fresh and tasty. The portions sizes are very good for the value. We always have leftovers. We have had the spring rolls, the hot and sour soup, sushi salmon rolls, pad thai, beef and broccoli, chicken with eggplant and chicken with vegetables. Also, we have tried both the white and brown rice. The only negative thing I can say is that some of the dishes are on the salty side. And that is why I did not give this restaurant five stars. The decor is very simple, we have eaten inside on several occasions. The service can be good and bad at times, which depends on how busy the restaurant is. Parking is very tight and the lighting is not very good. Price is very good considering that kosher food is more expensive than other restaurants. read more

Been here a few times, service can be totally hit or miss. Our last visit was a huge miss - cold soup, over fried egg rolls, grade C sushi. The final crowning glory was the waiter telling me that credit card tips don't work even though that is how I tipped there before a good 6 times. I picked up a lot of food for my son's birthday last night. First off, the lady who picked up the phone was incredibly polite and helpful. She did receive a few calls while I was giving her my order. She very promptly put them in hold and continued working with me. She did not make me feel rushed at all. If you call for take out, be patient if you are put in hold, because when it is your turn they will give you their attention. I ordered a couple of the deluxe rolls ( fire and sunrise), Peking dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, honey chicken, Mongolian beef and chicken, stir fried veggies, lo mein. The food was excellent! Everything we had was really tasty. The honey chicken and sweet and sour were not heavily breaded loaded with gloopy sauce that you usually find at other Chinese restaurants. The dumplings were steamed and came with a delicious sweet dipping sauce. Everything was fantastic! Portions are very generous. I'm very pleased with China Bistro. read more

The food is amazing. We had chicken pad thai, salmon tempura, chicken wonton soup, chicken lo mein, and Mongolian duo..all was delicious. The workers are diligent and follow up regularly to ensure we have what we need. However, the way the young manager treats the employees is disgusting and unprofessional. We witnessed her yelling at a cook with her finger in his face to get out of the restaurant and pointing to the back. This took place in a full business with eating customers. I was floored. The employees worked hard, filled orders, and made delicious food all without having to be treated so poorly. read more

To avoid the crowd, I called in three orders for take-out. The food was (a) unsatisfactory (the Spouse), (b) "OK" (the son) and spicy (as I like it), but nothing to compare to SoHo in Aventura. China Bistro added an 18% gratuity -- for what? Handing me several boxes of take-out? Offer a bag to consolidate everything? Forget it. I can see a "forced" gratuity at a sit-down restaurant, but for TAKE OUT?? (A gratuity -- tip -- ought to be based on service, not automatically bundled into the bill.) I was looking forward to Mongolian chicken which I ordered to go. What I discovered upon opening the container at home was not Mongolian chicken. The protein (no longer capable of being called chicken) had been breaded and deep fried on some previous occasion. The food is standard kosher American style Chinese food, with some nice sushi dishes. Prior to the pandemic, I enjoy eating here and found the service to be good. Since the pandemic however, I have stopped going there. The wait staff does not wear masks properly, and customers coming in for takeout are not required to wear masks.
