So glad we have a cheap and authentic Chinese restaurant in town. My family loves coming here. We usually order fried rice, stir fried noodles, fried calamari/squid, and egg drop soup. I'm not sure if the lady there is the owner or not, but she is so nice and accommodating. This place usually has a lot of Togo orders, so there's never a wait when you want to dine-in (pre-COVID). There are times when the dishes come out a tad bit too sweet or too salty so we do tell them to lower the sodium or sugar and they are happy to do so. Our bill usually comes out to be around $35 with all that I've mentioned above. And the portions are really big too! Come by for some yummy + cheap Chinese food. read more

I thought I'd try something different. Is that a good thing? Well, the HK crispy noodles were about the only things that were different. It's interesting that the only other Chinese restaurant in town is basically directly across the street, and back in the strip mall. There is a small parking lot but it's next to a side street, so there should be more parking available. The dining room is rather sparse and it's a bit tacky with the refrigerated units, etc. just out in the open. The tables seemed okay, and they had two family-style tables there, complete with lazy susan/turntable typically used by Chinese families at restaurants. Thankfully, I was able to sit on the east side of the dining room and the air conditioning was working well. The menu was pretty much what Americans would expect. The only real difference I saw was the inclusion of Hong Kong-style crispy noodles. Their seafood came down to prawns/shrimp and squid. I was hoping, hoping, hoping for fish. The lady reminded me that it was a small town. In any case, I got iced tea and the seafood variety of the crispy noodles. The dining room really wasn't busy but there were a few take out customers. The order took a while, which felt as though everything was cooked properly. If you've ever had birds nest pasta, you'd have a feeling that these crispy noodles were taken back to Italy by Marco Polo. There was a huge bed of crispy noodles with vegetables and prawns and squid. It was good. It still wasn't fish. Service was friendly and good. The bill came to just over $14.00, which wasn't awful, although they should have offered me a refill for my iced tea. read more

Rode in from Manteca based on reviews alone. The place must have gone downhill, I don't understand how it got so many stars. Called in an order to go, was over $70.00 for 3 plates and an appetizer. Extremely expensive. When I got there the place was a little dark, blinds were all closed. Asking for chili oil was a joke, had to wait an extra 5mins to get it. My first thought when trying the rice was it was brown rice. The beef was just terribly chewy, the broccoli covered in oil and grease. After a few bites I could feel the grease clinging all over my mouth and lips. No flavor and just too greasy. Had really high hopes based on reviews! On the plus side portions are on the bigger side. Disappointed. Spent $50 on food that was inedible. There was parchment paper cooked into our appetizer. All the meats had a jelly-like texture. I actually gagged after my first bite. I forgot to take a picture so excuse that, but I came in and got take out. I ordered the combination plate number 3 and waited a couple minutes. The staff was really nice and I felt comfortable being there. I took my food and while in my car I checked and the food looked amazing. My plate came with garlic chicken, fried rice, and some foil wrapped chicken. The great thing is that they even gave me some egg drop soup on the side. I got home and ate my food and wow was it good. Every single thing was delicious. The egg drop soup had amazing flavor, The fried rice was nice and savory, The garlic chicken not only smelled delicious but tasted amazing. The food is very good. The Honey walnut prawns are DELISH! Highly recommend them. Staff is very friendly. ONLY thing holding me back from giving them a full 5 stars is their Hot n Sour soup. There's plenty of bulk in it, but it's not hot and sour. They need to kick it up a couple of notches. Bulk is great, but taste is bland. Just not what one expects when taking a spoonful of hot n sour soup. My daughter couldn't finish hers, not because it was bad, but because her taste buds were expecting that blend of spicy heat and vinegar-ish sour taste. Was craving Chinese food on a Monday and with most Chinese restaurants closed mondays, my search led me here. The service was friendly, the food was made fast, however it was not very good. It's so hard to find good Chinese food so I really wanted to like this place. I ordered BBQ pork fried rice and chow mein, an order of pot stickers and beef with broccoli.. the fried rice was ok, pretty boring, just had onion and egg, had very little veggies I like all of the peas and carrots that fried rice normally always has. Id give it maybe a 3/10. The chow mein was not good. Tasted too much like garlic. I was not a fan of it... 2/10. The broccoli beef was the worst broccoli beef I've ever tried. I think they steam the broccoli first then cook it because it was so soggy/mushy and sadly just gross. The meat in the broccoli beef was very low quality meat... rubbery cheap meat not sure what kind they used. Id give that a 0/10. The pot stickers were probably the least terrible thing but I still was not a fan. Everyone has different preferences however, so some may not agree with me and may actually like it. Sadly, it's a no for me. Wouldn't recommend it nor will I be returning. read more

Oh my goodness. There is a young girl here who doesnt have a clue about what she is doing. They just served someone the wrong food. Then as they were eating it. They discovered it was wrong. They took the food from the people eating it and gave it to another table. And got caught doing it This is the worst thing ive ever seen. I really feel sorry for them. Three full tables walked out. The cook was bringing out food for people who werent here because the girl didnt tell them they left. More people are walking in. And they cant get it right. One table ate their food and waited almost an hour to pay. They kept telling them they would be right with them. This is so painfull to watch because ive been eating here for years and have never had a problem. This is a great place. They are just having the worst night ever read more
