Total and complete health and food safety violation! Decided to try this place for the first time and witnessed things that cannot be unseen! While dining in I observed cooks prepping food with no gloves or masks! Food handlers were absolutely glove free while digging hands into raw vegetables and noodles, touching bowls, plastic containers, cookware, utensils and other items all while cooking food. I even saw one guy scratching his back while grabbing food from containers and throwing it into bowls! By the time I realized the horrid and unsanitary food prep going on behind the scenes I had already start eating my food! If this is their practice with food handling in the sight of customers, I can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes! Customer service was awful. The young man servicing us did not ask if we'd like to dine in or takeout for lunch and therefore we weren't offered the option of having the egg drop soup which only comes with the lunch special if you decided to dine in. All the tables were dirty, and when I asked if we could sit at one, the young man nodded, went and got a dingy white towel and proceeded to clean a different table than the one we were going to sit at which was obviously filthy! To top it off, very small portions, and average food. We stayed and ate because we were hungry after a long road trip and didn't want to waste $18. If you don't mind bare hand food preparation, maskless cooks, mediocre food, and lackluster and indifferent customer service...go for it. Otherwise don't waste your time or money here. I stopped in for a to go order. The menu is extensive and prices reasonable. I ordered the crab rangoons and the seafood combo. The combo came with a carton of white rice. The container with the seafood and vegetables was packed tightly. The shrimp, crab and fish were tasty as were the vegetables. The food was enough for one dinner and two lunches. The staff were attentive to those dining in and very personable to those ordering or picking up phoned in requests. I kept putting off trying this place, I wish I wouldn't have. Tried for the first time today, hot, fresh, and delicious! Chicken chow mein exactly how I like it, tender chicken and larger noodles. Black pepper chicken, although not spicy, was fantastic. Appetizer combo, tender char su pork with a delicious dipping sauce! Veggie spring rolls, breaded shrimp was ok, nothing special. Went in on a whim after going out for the day. Ordered the "house chow mein" which states it comes with chicken, beef and shrimp. I received the dish with primarily noodles, barely any chicken and the beef and shrimp were non-existent. Thankfully the dish was under $10, but when the description states something and it's not what you expect when you get home and open it up, it's quite frustrating. read more

I've ordered a couple of times from China Bros and never had issues, but I ordered chopsuey with steamed white rice today and when I got home and opened it up, I thought the rice looked too soft and slightly yellow. I smelled it and it was indeed spoiled. I called them to let them know because maybe what if they didn't know and they just hung up on me and never called back. They had my number since I just called to order a few minutes before. Sad to say this will be my last time eating their food. Watch out and smell your rice! :P read more

Just had my first visit and definitely planning to return- awesome customer service and very laid back atmosphere. I appreciated being served crispy noodles and sauce as an appetizer. I feel like most of the places around here don't even offer them and I love to crumble some on top of my dinner plate. We started with the wonton soup, which is a massive shareable bowl with a good broth. For the main courses, we did orange chicken and beef chop suey. I loved the orange chicken with its lots of little crispy pieces and the flavorful sauce; the waiter offered a spicier sauce but I stuck with the default for now. Less successful for me was the beef chop suey. Though the sauce was fantastic and the beef abundant, I had selected it because it said it featured baby corn and water chestnuts among the veggies. There were only two pieces of each. I was willing to pick through all the zucchini, a vegetable I hate, for the promise of ones I love and I was disappointed they were so scarce. Customers beware!!! Absolutely disgusting make sure your food doesn't have bugs in it before you start eating. Yesterday I ordered quite a bit of food for my family and myself. In the middle of eating my daughter pulled out a giant black beetle In her spicy garlic and chicken. Absolutely disgusting literally we started throwing up right after because we were so grossed out. Through every single play out or a waste of money. When I called all they said is well we can make you a new plate absolutely disgusting and unacceptable I will be reporting them in to the health department. Stopped by this location for the first time 2/5. I enjoyed every bite from the first to the last. The noodles were soft and juicy, the rice was flavorful and not dry. The orange chicken was saucy. Service was pleasing, they asked if where were dinning in and sat us down, brought us egg drop soup while we where browsing the menu. read more

They definitely prioritized call in orders and did not go in order. We realized they gave 3 people who came in and ordered after us their food before ours. Absolutely ridiculous. Tried today and enjoyed 99% of it. The cashew chicken, moo goo chicken, orange chicken and crab ragoons were good. Chicken was very tender, lots of sauce & veggies. Lunch special is a lot of food and good price. Orange chicken was not spicy more sweet. Ragoons were on the sweet side. Didn't care for the honey walnut shrimp. Not worth the price of entree. I'm a big fan of the Center City pkwy location and was hoping this one would match it, but it still has a long ways to go to be as good as that location. The food took 20+ minutes to be ready after my brother (on the same table) had received his because of a "mix up". When it did arrive the rice was cold and the quality of the food was lacking. I must say off the bat that the food is good. but I do have a complaint. I ordered the family meal and it came with pork fried rice. I don't consume pork and was not allowed to change it. I understand no substitutions but I just wanted it without it. when I asked the guy at the register he immediately said that the manager was not there and that he couldn't approve that. I dont see how getting the rice without the pork was not allowed. the other thing is that it came with 2 egg rolls. I am not kidding you when I say these egg rolls were greasy. you could taste the grease as you bit the egg roll. but it was good. the crag ragons were more ragoon than anything else none the less what was in them was good. read more

My wife and I played the game of "being considerate" and leaving some left in the communal plates hoping the other would refuse. What ended up happening was an all-out race to eat everything in sight. I am now labeled a "jerk" and sleeping on the couch. Decided to try out this new place after passing by a few times. We went for the basics chow mein and veggie fried rice, but added the orange tofu and eggplant tofu. Truthfully, it's not that any of the food was bad, but that it just did not satisfy us at all. The portion sizes were solid which bumped this place up to a 2. The chowmein was pretty oily but did not have much flavor. The fried rice was just alright. The two tofu dishes also lacked in flavor. We got sat down pretty quickly, but ended up watching a huge line of people walk in and order food before we got a server ( also the cashier) to come take our order. We ordered General's chicken, Mongolian beef, Wonton soup and house fried rice, what we got was grease, grease, grease and more grease. The GF and I both got a headache after eating at this place. I love trying out new restaurants and I'm still glad I tried this one, but I don't recommend this place and I will never go back.
