    Hot Tea!
    Joseph D.

Food is cold, crappy and understocked. Host lady was condescending and unwelcoming. Best part of the meal was the hot tea. I should have known better than to trust a place who's name is just the generic "China Buffet" I give it 1.33 stars out of 5 Bon Appetit! =)

Bruh this food is bomb. First off im 99.99% vegan. I saw they had a paper menu other than the menu thats on the buffet so i just ordered from there! Everything was perfect despite the hosts weird vibe lol. She iight though. I aint tripping. Price and portions perfectttt. Food was hot, fresh, not salty. Didnt give utensils. Food was ready in legit 10 mins. I was worried but obv my experience was beyond my expectations. Cant wait to go back. Everything taste extremely clean no gmos, preservatives, artificial junk. Thanks bro!

China Buffet offers the basic selection of Chinese dishes (lo mein, rice, egg rolls, dumplings, beef, chicken, pork, seafood, vegetables), sushi, cold salads, snow crab legs (dinner only), pizza, stuffed mushrooms, potato, soups, desserts (ice cream, fruit, jello, pudding, cakes), and more. Soda is included in the price of the buffet. I stopped here for dinner on a Sunday night. Most of the food items on the buffet tasted fine with some foods (pizza, mussels) drying out from sitting around. The service here was good (refills on soda and used dishes cleared between buffet trips).

They said after a while they're going to do buffet dine in and I can't wait to dine in.

I rarely review but I had to for china buffet ... this place is unreal. Showed up at 7:30pm on a Wednesday night and the buffet looked incredibly fresh and steaming hot. The options were insane. Then the food... genuinely delicious. Very impressed and wish I lived closer so I could come regularly. I'm really confused about the bad reviews because this place rocked.

Always a lack of cocktail shrimp

Last few times food has been over cooked and cold. Gone down hill tremendously. This was our last try.

This is something I will no longer do. For about the last year and a half or so, IMHO, the restaurant has continually gone downhill. Where in years past the staff always made the customer feel very welcome, that feeling of being welcomed seems to have evaporated. I'm under the impression now, based on the last three visits, that the front woman running things just wants your order and then be done with it. She's not the same person from a few years ago. Last night I ordered what is called the "Seafood Wor Bar". The only items in the order that tasted anywhere like they should were the shrimp, and maybe the scallops, being on the small side, and not very plump at all; both tasted fairly well. The menu showed shrimp, scallops, crab and lobster. There was not one piece of lobster at all. And the crab was that fake crab you can buy in the grocery store made from a fish called the Pollock. Regarding the so-called crab, they were about the size of the first segment of one of your fingers_ maybe an inch long and about half an inch wide. For me the most epic thing regarding this so-called crab meat was the lack of taste; nothing like crab at all and very bland. Even the texture was way off. When chewing all I got was a mushiness. I never like thinking what I'm about to text, but I have to be honest here. Until they get the buffet up and running again, because right now it's menu only, there's no way I could recommend to anyone going to this restaurant. Also, as the name of the restaurant is still shown on the sign as "Oriental Buffet, All You Can Eat", I feel they should change the name of the restaurant and get rid of the all you can eat part of it. Three or four visits back, I asked the woman if I could order more without it costing me more because of the name of the restaurant, and she looked at me like I was an alien, and when I explained to her that at the bottom of the name it still says all you can eat, she explained that's only with buffet. I used to really look forward to and enjoy going to this restaurant, but not anymore. I doubt if I'll go until things get back to what I consider the old normal.

Looking for food in VT at 8:30pm on a Friday night in April shouldn't be difficult. But alas,…read moretonight it was very difficult. Saw this little gem on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It was 9pm and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff were courteous and attentive and our waitress was very sweet. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and it was delicious. The sesame chicken was beautifully plated, complete with an edible orchid. The kung pao chicken and pepper steak came as you would expect so my husband and I teased the waitress about why we didn't get special plates with edible flowers. She was cute. The food was delicious and the portions just the right size. My husband asked for his king pao extra spicy and it definitely was not- but it's ok cause then we didn't mind sharing with him. I had the pepper steak and it was tender and flavorful. Everything was really good. If we lived nearby, we'd make it our go-to Panasian spot!

Hot and Sour soup had just the right amount of spicy. The staff were happy and helpful and the restaurant was clean and cozy. Five stars!
