It was also a little confusing - they gave us one dim sum menu (and only one, even after we asked for a second one to look over; it wasn't super crowded and they could've spared one), but our waitress came by one time and only one time with a cart. So, was this place supposed to be cart service, or ordering a la carte (no pun intended)? It just made the decision process a little clunky. Of the dim sum I got, the pork shu mai was probably best. Standard, but not bad nor extraordinary. The chiar siu pork buns were tasty, but way too doughy. My friend got the shrimp Pad Thai. We had to check a couple times with the waitress to make sure that there was no non-seafood meats. Ultimately, he ordered it and he was impressed with just how much shrimp it came with. For a steamed shrimp and broccoli with the gravy used for egg foo young on the side with a pint of white rice. I gave the young man specific directions to make the broccoli tender. It took about 10mins to prepare the food. When I went to the counter to pick up my food my gut feeling said I was going to be disappointed. But I wanted to have faith that wouldn't be the case. When I arrived home I opened the container needless I was very disappointed. The broccoli wasn't as I requested. It was hard and the whole dish was luke warm. The gravy shook like jello. It was no pouring it out smoothly. The rice was okay. But this was $15 of my hard earned money. I wasn't going to leave a review. But it's hard to get restaurant establishments to acknowledge their lack luster food preparation habits and to satisfy their customers patronizing their business. I hope this review reaches them. And they go back to the drawing board and put out good hot food no matter what time of day it is. This establishment could also use a visual upgrade as well.

** 5 year update **…read more Contrary to the last review I wrote, nope. This place has seen the last of me!! This place is 2 towns away and not worth the drive these days. I parked on the back lot where I've always parked, and entered through the rear entrance. The walls and carpet are filthy, the bathrooms smell backed up, dining area was outdated, etc. Welp, on this visit, we ordered Shrimp & Broccoli Lunch Special, Sesame Chicken Lunch Special, and a Small Shrimp Toast order. It was so bad, I didn't take any pics. The Shrimp & Broccoli Lunch Special was less than average in preparation and taste. Kept me in the bathroom for 24 hours. The Shrimp Toast went straight in the trash. I took a small bite of each. I have no idea what the taste experienced was. I've been going for a month or two when in the mood and each time I try something new. I'm looking for flavors like I get back home and this is very close. The pickup price point is A+ for the location and the guy is always friendly when I go. They do really well with edits to their items and the serving sizes are generous and always lend to two meals. Oddly enough I tried their American Menu as featured and it was tasty for what it was if that makes sense. I usually read reviews before venturing somewhere but I was tired of the other spot we normally use and I'm happy to have tried it.
