We had seen a lot of signs about this place opening up and decided to give it a try! The staff was really friendly and welcoming. It looks like it would be fast food, but it is more of a mix of sit down and to go. They have a wide variety options to choose from. We ordered cashew chicken, but asked if they could make it with beef and they quickly agreed to the change. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff was very attentive. They even gave us some wet hot napkins before leaving to wipe our hands. All in all it is a great place to stop for a bite. I will definitely be returning again! read more

This restaurant is beyond clean. Which is always a plus in my book. I have ordered food from this location for delivery many times. My husband and I like the food from here. We actually have a place that is closer to where we live but we like this one so much better. I decided to add this review today on the heels of a bad experience at an unaffiliated Chinese food place. These guys at China Dragon greeted me with enthusiasm upon arrival. They were quick to offer water and complimentary wontons while I waited. The food came out so quick I didn't have time to finish them or this review. I recommend this spot. This is our family's local go-to place for Chinese food. We've been coming here since they first opened. It's a beautiful family owned restaurant with good food and good service. As soon as you sit down, they bring an appetizer of fried wonton noodles with sweet and sour sauce. We usually go there for lunch. Their lunch special consists of soup, rice, and on of 28 entree selections . Their Hot and Sour soup is great. Ordered for pickup. My husband and I finally found a place to get Singapore Noodles! But first, The person who took our order over the phone was very nice and answered all questions we had. We saw a few reviews that were negative but we wanted to try the place ourselves. We ordered and got Singapore noodles with chicken and Shrimp, Also got my husband's favorite, Orange Chicken and an order or Fish Fillet with vegetables. Instead of white, we ordered brown rice. This place is good but not a 4.5 good. This was the only reason I gave this place a try. I'd rate it a 3.5 out of 5. Service was quick and the food was good. I placed my order online and it was ready when I arrived. I got the lunch special with orange chicken friend rice and chow ming. The fortune cookie was stale but everything else was good. FRESH. FAST. FRIENDLY. I cannot express how much of an impact this place made on me. It has been a while since I've felt like a restaurant actually cares about their quality of food and most of all their service to their customers. This place had 5 stars all around. When I walked in I was immediately greeted, you can choose where to sit and they bring out menus along with silverware. Our drinks came out super fast and they gave us time to look over the menu and a snack of crispy wonton strips with sauce while we waited for our food. They have a variety of dishes on their menu that all are freshly cooked to order. Everything looks very clean inside and the servers are very attentive. I felt so welcomed and looked after the whole time I was there. I ordered the Mongolian beef with chow mein and man was I not disappointed. The beef was extra tender and had a really yummy flavor with just the right amount of spice and the chow mein was delicious as well. Everything tasted super fresh and wasn't super heavy like other places that drown their food in oil. I ended up ordering some chicken pan fried dumplings as well and oh my goodness they were amazing! My favorite was the sauce they came with it had just the right amount of acidity and spicy goodness. I felt like I was eating at a fancy restaurant with how welcoming the staff was. Like I said before it has been such a long time since I've felt like restaurant staff actually care about their customers and this place really shows it. Will definitely be eating here again. One of my favorite things from Chinese restaurants as egg drop soup. Sometimes called egg flower soup. When I ordered it I was really craving it and had to find a place that served it. I always look for egg drop soup that is yellow and the eggs are clearly visible inside the soup. I don't like it when it's white and has too many vegetables inside. I saw pictures on the reviews and on their menu of what the egg drop soup look like and I had to try it. It was definitely the kind of soup that I expected and I was very happy with my order. I can't really comment on the service or the ambience because I ordered it takeout and had it delivered to my house but the food was great. read more

We happen to be in the crossing shopping center next to the movie theater and saw this Chinese restaurant that we have never tried. We found them to be a GREAT find! Chinese food takeout is pretty much everywhere. However, China Dragon stood out. Tucked unassumingly in a prime location (movie theater, bookstore, parking), China Dragon looks modest with some seating (widely spaced, bright and clean area). It looks like your typical Chinese food place. What makes China Dragon a stand out is the generous portions of tasty food. My friend and I got the Sesame balls, Sesame chicken, Garlic eggplant and tofu, and Honey Walnut Shrimp. First off, ordering was easy and uncomplicated. We ordered for pickup on their website while getting gas 10 minutes away. We even had the option to request spice level and to omit certain things (ie: onions, scallions, other allergents) We had to wait a minute when we arrived, but that meant the food was made fresh on demand. They packaged everything perfectly--no spills, food still hot and NOT soggy! The sesame chicken were plump morsels of meat encased in a not too sweet sauce, sprinkled in a crunchy coating of sesame seeds. The eggplant tofu was soft in texture, not mushy and spiced just right with the occasional prickly vegetables. The honey walnut shrimp was the star of the show--sauce covered juicy shrimp curled shiny and steaming hot in a separate section of the container. The tasty crunchy candied walnuts were packaged away from the shrimp to ensure they stay crunchy. Why doesn't anyone thought to do this?! All the food, including the deep fried sesame balls (a two-bite ball of yummy delight), were not greasy and not over-salted. The seasoning was just right. The food was fresh. And even the complimentary almond and fortune cookies were just the right amount of crunch and flavor. The staff were all smiles in a way you can't help but smile back. :) There are a lot of takeout places. But China Dragon soared up to the top of my list. They offer great food, in a great location. Definitely worth checking out. And if you're waiting for your movie, why not grab a table and enjoy a great meal? I'm embarrassed to say I have no photos because we ate the food so fast. I usually can tell how good the servers are with how often they check to see if you need refills and they came and checked on us about 4 times. Food was ok. My wife had the kung pao shrimp, first bite I thought it was tasty, about 2 seconds later came the pao! Good flavor that builds into a mild heat, I enjoyed it, she ate it all! I had my favorite moo goo gai pan, the chicken was tasty and well cooked, it melted in my mouth. The mushrooms and vegetables were cooked well and not soggy, I enjoyed my meal. I'd seen a couple people post about China Dragon recently and decided to give it a try. The service was quick, easy and attentive. I had the curry chicken with half steamed rice and chow mein, it was really good. My mom had chicken with vegetables and half steamed rice/noodles as well. We were both impressed with the taste. It wasn't heavy...it was lite. After our meal they gave us a warm napkin to clean our hands. I'll be back again!! Come try it out! read more
