Food was piping hot, just was a bit too plain and bland tasting for me.

3 stars for the cleanliness, friendly staff, and piping hot food.. But the food itself just didn't do it for me. Rice was plain with nothing in it (seemed to be just rice with soy sauce) and the chicken seemed to be more bread batter than actual meat inside. Just didn't do it for me.

Just ordered for the first time. The special fried rice was literally soy sauce dumped on top white rice with meat on top. This is the WORST food ever. Just don't order from here. Tastes disgusting and I'm kind of amazed at how bad this experience is.

Very nice people at this fast food Chinese. Made it an effort to make a special meal for my son with an allergy. Good food cheap and quick.

We were seated immediately, which we appreciated because we were tired and hungry. Since we already have our favorite dishes at Cate Zone, we knew exactly what to order as soon as our server came by. Our go‑to appetizer is always the beef tripe -- non‑spicy -- and it never disappoints. We always enjoy it with a bowl of rice, and the combination is incredibly comforting and flavorful. We also ordered the crisp shrimp with egg yolk, which is my 6‑year‑old son's absolute favorite. It's unbelievably tasty -- rich, crispy, and just out‑of‑this‑world good. For our last dish, we tried the crisp sautéed pork for the first time. This one didn't quite hit the mark for us. The flavor leaned sweet and salty with no spice, and it didn't have the same wow factor as the crisp shrimp we love so much. Still, it was worth trying something new. All our dishes came with a bowl of hot, steaming white rice, and everything arrived at our table in under 10 minutes -- their speed is impressive. The portions were generous, and we left completely full with leftovers to take home. Cate Zone continues to be one of our favorite spots, and experiences like this are exactly why we keep coming back.

The food came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The popcorn chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned, the stir-fry was delicious, and the sizzling pepper beef was easily one of the highlights -- incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and there wasn't a single disappointing dish on the table. This was our first time trying ChiliSpot and it absolutely lived up to the recommendation. One of those places where you're already looking at the menu deciding what you want to try next time before you've even finished your meal. Fantastic food, great experience, and an easy 5 stars. We'll absolutely be back!

For two people, this is my go to order:…read more *Deep fried handmade tofu with special sauce (17.95) *Sautéed lamb with cumin (19.95) *Storm fish fillet (19.95) The lamb has enough of the "wetness" and vegetables to eat and mix with the rice. The lamb pieces used to be small but they are huge now! Appreciate the owners taking the feedback. I think they make the tofu in house. They are huge thick soft pieces with enough crispness on the outside. It's a good introduction to how seriously Chinese people take tofu and how in other countries they have a huge variety of tofu, vs the select few we have in the U.S. And I used to be partial to the spicy fried fish at cate zone, but chilispot has upgrade this dish a lot. It's perfectly crispy and hot!!! Even if you don't like fish, it's a great dish and also makes for great leftovers. I know the fried chicken is popular but I find the chicken pieces are too small. Even with two heavy eaters, we still have leftovers for another meal

The lady came by with the carts before my companions arrived but I wanted to wait to get anything going, Greetings all around and we were ready! The Dim Sum cart came around and my Dim Sum companion who knows her way around the cart, chose our options, ordered some noodles and Chinese broccoli. We prepped our sauce for dipping; soy, red vinegar, hot mustard, chili oil, try it you'll like it. Some pork, some shrimp, noodles, broccoli, bbq pork, all so good! I don't ever know exactly what we get but I try it all and it is all good. The second cart that comes by, I kept putting off and then by the time I was ready I was too full to get more. I typically order a large hot and sour soup along with a full order of Moo Goo Gai Pan. My food was ready in about 10 minutes, which was impressive considering there was a steady stream of customers coming in to pick up their orders. This is a no-frills, very basic spot with limited seating, so it's more geared toward takeout than dining in. That said, the food is consistently solid. The hot and sour soup stands out and is better than what I've had at most other Chinese restaurants, and the Moo Goo Gai Pan is always a reliable choice. I usually stop by a few times a year, and it continues to deliver a quick, satisfying meal.
