The place is like stepping into the 90's. The furniture and decor is just like an old Chinese buffet. Everything is clean and well cared for and the tables are shiny and clean and the floors are thankfully uncarpeted!!! The food was almost sad looking as we were the only customers at 5pm on a Thursday. We received top notch service, we were their only customers. The buffet had all the choices but some were not very fresh looking. I was very surprised that the taste of the food was very good. My daughter enjoyed the peanut chicken, honey chicken . I also loved the honey chicken and have deemed it the best dish at this restaurant. The freshness of the General Cho's varied as I ate it but it had a great flavor. The shrimp with zucchini was yummy. Their hot and sour soup was not yummy and I will not be back even for the star. I did not dare try the cold foods because I had no idea how long they had been sitting there. The string beans were cold but did taste good... I just wished they were fresh and more hot and cooked. They tasted and felt like they were on the undercooked side. Someone else did arrive while we were finishing up. If you are looking for a very quiet and not busy place to eat this is the one. Be careful of the shrimp with zucchini though because I ate a bad piece of shrimp in the dish and it made my whole experience change. This is the best Chinese buffet I have ever eaten at. Very clean and nice people. All the food is kept full and hot. Lots of choices. One of my favorite items is the many flavors of ice cream. The appetizers were excellent as was everything else. I really can't say enough about the food. After you've eaten at so many bad Chinese buffets you hesitate and wonder should I even go. Though I don't agree with the General Tao Chicken comment. I had some off the buffet and it was exellent. I am afraid that people have become too use to processed food and expect General Tao Chicken to be store bought chicken nuggets covered in sauce. Just like the sweet & sour and the spicy chicken, it appears to be chef prepared, cut chicken breaded/floured and fried. The egg rolls also had a hand made appearance. I guess not what Americans expect, but a pleasant surprise and a delicious meal. The hot & Sour soup was also a delight as was the white rice - sticky as it should be, but also not the usual mass that feels like you are scooping clay or ice cream. I ordered General Tso's Chicken. It was disgusting to put it mildly. It was just fried flour covered in the Tso sauce. I could only eat about 3 bites and had to throw the rest away as it was inedible. This was my first time ordering from here but I'll never order again. Also the Spring roll was barely cooked and the crab rangoon was burnt. And the cost for duck sauce and homemade mustard was exorbitant. Have only been here since the pandemic and has all been to go. We have enjoyed just about everything we have tried and it is affordable. They are very quick typically 5-10 minutes for food for 1-2 people. The daily lunch/dinner specials are what I always order it's the entree, fried rice, egg roll, crab Rangoon (and soup if dinner) for a good price. I am not big on plain fried rice so I usually get white rice instead. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a typical Chinese takeout! read more

They post under each dish the time it needs to be replenished so I appreciate that for safety and customer satisfaction, biggest pet peeve is when inedible gross looking food is still sitting under a heat lamp for customers. I received an order of Gen Tso Chicken and white rice. I placed the rice on a plate then spooned over the chicken. When I tried to eat it I discovered the chicken was so tough I couldn't chew it. All of it was tough and not edible. So I had to dispose of all of it. I called the restaurant and they told me I could get a free order next time. So I called in a new order today with other items and asked for my free order of Gen Tso Chicken. When it arrived there was no rice. So I called the restaurant. They said that I had complained about the chicken and that was all they were going to replace with no rice. So, 2 meals in a row ruined. 11/19/14 My wife and I had eaten at the previous place and decided that a trip back was not worth it. today I took a wrong turn and drove by the place. It looked clean from the outside and had a sign declaring it was new. I had some time and was hungary so decided to check it out , as my wife and i both like Chinese food. 1. It was very CLEAN 2. The food looked fresh and tasty. Not food that has been sitting under a hot light for hours. (To be fair...I did get there at 11:30 AM) 3. The Variety was very good, not great, but everything you would expect for lunch I guess. 4. The food was GREAT and NOT greasy, and I mean everything. Service was quick and efficient and VERY reasonable. I think with tip I paid 7 or 8 dollars for 1. I asked about the evening and if it was a different menu. Her face actually lit up and she started telling me about the evening menu...I didn't understand everything, but she was obviously proud of the evening fare. 5. I was dressed VERY Casual and noticed the lunch crowd was mostly working guys. Sams tore down our favorite place....and we have been looking with no success. Looks like we found our new place. China buffet can't do math. All of the people in my group paid their bills up front, the lady up there ended up giving back to much change to someone. This person had already left so I had to cover there mistake with my own money. The worker chased me down in my car and made me come back in and pay for the mistake that she had made. They then realized that they had charged us 3 dollars more then the bill was instead of giving the money back the lady said "I think we are even". Even though her calculator said she owed me 3 dollars so after 20 minutes of arguing I decided it was not worth it and I left. I hope this place gets shut down.... cheap bastards. read more
