He stops and points at a table in the back, gesturing for me to squeeze between two customers. I choose to walk around a different way and the host is still gesturing for me to squeeze between to chairs when the host himself wouldn't even walk through. It was beyond strange. We sit down and have some time and order our drinks and my friend knows we need to order the rest of our meal at the same time. We order baked oysters and I ordered the special- lamb My friend orders the flounder with risotto because it never disappoints We ordered the cappuccino heath bar ice cream pie and that was incredible! May have been my favorite part of the meal We received the ice cream pie and not even a minute later, a server, who was different than our original server, put the check down. And not even 10 minutes later, he came to check if we had put down a credit card It was not even 10pm yet (mind you, they close at 11pm) I can understand if it was past closing and we were the only ones left but it wasn't even close and there were still other patrons. As we were wrapping up, you could feel them circling our table and staring us down. By the time we left, it wasn't even 10:30pm. Despite the good food, this left a sour taste in my mouth.

Absolutely. House-made syrups? Love that for them. Memorable coffee? Unfortunately, no. The maple latte was fine. The matcha was also fine. In fact, "fine" should probably be their slogan. Nothing was bad, but nothing made me want to cancel my other coffee plans either. 7/10. I'd stop in if I was already nearby and desperately caffeinated-adjacent, but I wouldn't cross town for it. The vibes carried harder than the beverages. The biggest compliment I can give is that the syrups are made in-house. Everything else was just kind of... there. Cute vibes, nice atmosphere, but my taste buds and caffeine addiction both left wanting a little more.

While I do see some staff in the back wearing hair nets it would be great if all who handled food did. The ambiance is your typical cafe style. Small and homey but well themed. The entrance to get in isn't stroller friendly but inside has an abundance of high chairs. Overall I am still a loyal customer and will be coming back minus the mishap. I love fresh made bread and good Chilean food and you will find it here.
