The place was fabulous for a Christmas lunch. So many choices and food was hot or cold appropriately. Staff was awesome, kept drinks filled and consistent on taking dirty dishes. The place was well clean, well lit and not too hot, cold or loud. The only thing that was concerning were the young kids getting food themselves. Hands in the ice cream, dropping jello on the ground. Parents, come on step it up. Anyone under 10 needs an adult to get the food. Really wish a staff member was scooping the ice cream. Otherwise totally worth the money. Loved it, would recommend it and will return.

It was clean and the food was decent. My friend didn't care for the Mongolian barbecue. The ice cream was really good. I also really enjoyed the chicken nuggets.

If I may be honest, I didn't expect to plan a birthday here. We called seven places and landed with this buffet which is down a few blocks from our home. I lived here for fairly 15 years, and it was our first time trying it that day! I understood why God made me waited for this long and that is to celebrate and experience it together. I loved the environment, and beautiful service that was conducted. That day was filled with love and blessings-- our guests enjoyed the food and hospitality. It was a beautiful memorable day for the birthday ‍

The ambiance was highly lacking and the food very mediocre, a lot of food that could and should of been cooked longer was obviously rushed. Right when you walk in you have to pay before you sit. I took my kids and the smaller one hardly ate anything.

Food was fresh and plenty full selection was typical one drawback was the place setting was plastic wear not very sturdy Place was clean and kept up

    Dirty tables

Hot food is cold. Server behind buffet is rude and polices your food selection. Manager is unaccomodating. Never returning. Waitstaff is very good. Stressfull after being co fronted with another guest who claimed to be an executive chef. Should find out about his restaurant, make sure to not patronize it.

This place has really good food but it could be more sanitary, I found a hair cooked in my shrimp and killed a roach crawling on my table and previously saw a roach crawling on the plates my sushi area!!!

Stopped here after a hike I couldn't bottom down the 1st plate very cold food and made me feel like nauseous and I eat a lot of food.

Just a heads-up, the service charge here is mandatory, and the tone of the notice was very poor. I was really shocked to receive this notice from a self-service buffet restaurant where I pay at the front and don't get extra services like drink refills or dish delivery.

The service was also very good and accommodating, especially since I came in with a party of 8. Here are my thoughts on the food: Spicy Beef Tripe - I actually really enjoyed this one. It was cold and had good flavors. (4/5) Shrimp Fried Rice - It was simple, but it was good. Nothing over the top, just a simple classic. (4/5) Pan Fried Dumpling - It was delicious, had good flavors, and was juicy. (4.5/5) Beef Udon - Another simple dish, but it was good. Nothing overly done, just a nice carb to have. (4/5) Beef Roll - Best thing they have for sure. Nice flavors and made perfectly. (5/5) Pan Fried Bao - Pretty good. It had juice inside, and the meat was tasty. (4.5/5) Popcorn Chicken - We got this one mild, and they basically didn't put any spice on it. TBH, it lacked flavor, and besides being pretty crispy, it definitely needed some spice. (3/5) Beef Noodle Soup - It was good and pretty traditional. (4/5) Overall, most of the food was good but not spectacular IMO. It's a solid place to eat if you're looking for pretty good food, and the price isn't too bad! Parking - Now this stings because this lot SUCKS. If you come during peak hours, just pray because it's a very popular lot with plenty of good restaurants, so it gets crowded. I ended up exiting and driving south to the first local street, where you can park and walk over.

OMG! If you're craving some REALLY good lobster and want to get your money's worth, Boston Lobster…read moreis definitely worth trying! I came here with a friend, just the two of us, and the portions were HUGE. We ordered a lobster that was around 3-4 pounds, and the lobster is priced per pound. I believe we had the Boston Lobster House Special, and we added the noodles for about $10 extra. Let me tell you and it did NOT disappoint. The lobster was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely mouthwatering. The noodles soaked up all that flavor from the lobster and seasoning, and everything together was just delicious. I kept wanting to eat even though I was already getting full! It is a little pricey, especially depending on the size of the lobster you choose, but they give you A LOT of food. There were only two of us, and we each had enough food left over to take home and have another full meal. Honestly, the amount we ordered could have easily fed four people. We also had the shrimp fried rice, which was delicious, and even the lemon iced tea was really good. I wanted to try more things, but there was absolutely no way, we already had so much food! This is definitely more of a family-style dining experience. In my opinion, this isn't your typical quick Chinese food spot or chain restaurant. The quality, freshness, portions, and overall experience put Boston Lobster on another level. I also loved the atmosphere. We sat near the live seafood tanks, so you can actually see the lobsters and other seafood in the tanks, which added to the experience. They also have their own private parking lot with two-hour parking, which is a huge plus. We didn't have reservations and were able to get seated, but I could definitely see this place getting crowded, so reservations may be helpful during busier times. For me, Boston Lobster is easily FIVE STARS. If you're in the Rosemead area looking for delicious Asian seafood and some seriously good lobster, I definitely recommend it. Just make sure you come HUNGRY!

It had lots of noodles and toppings: tripe, rare beef, tendon, meat balls, and brisket. Pho was really rich in flavor. I also loved that the sizzling pots kept the broth hot the whole time. Noodles were also very bouncy, loved the texture. Beef short ribs were also very tender and full of flavor. Although it was very busy during a Tuesday lunch hour, the waiters sat us asap. Okay so I'll be the first to admit -- this place has been sitting right under my nose for who knows…read morehow long and somehow I never made it in. Honestly? Embarrassing. Moving on. So yeah, it's another Vietnamese spot in Rosemead. And before you say anything -- yes, it's a pho review. Again. Look, I don't make the rules, I just eat the soup. This place does something a little different though. Their thing is the earth stone bowl -- basically a heated stone bowl that keeps your broth stupid hot while all your toppings come on the side in separate little dishes. Cool concept, very extra, I respect the commitment. But here's the thing -- it was hot outside. Like uncomfortably, aggressively, why-am-I-outside hot. So sweating over a volcanic bowl of soup wasn't exactly on my agenda. I went with the regular bowl, picked two types of beef and tendon, and called it a day. First sip of the broth and I genuinely had to put the spoon down for a second. Not in a dramatic way -- just in a "okay, this is actually really good" kind of way. It holds up against every other spot I've been to, no question. But what got me was the flavor -- there's something subtle going on in there that's hard to put your finger on but impossible to ignore. The kind of broth that just works and doesn't need to explain itself. The toppings were solid, but the tendon was lowkey the highlight. Soft, chewy, not rubbery -- exactly what you want. Some places fumble the tendon. These guys didn't. Iced tea on the side, Saturday afternoon, nothing else going on -- honestly doesn't get much better than that. Should've come here sooner. My loss.

Service was stellar - personal, but never intrusive. I liked that we were seated immediately and still given time for our late guests to arrive. Food arrived quickly once we ordered. They were gracious about splitting the tab afterwards, but could easily have asked whether we wanted separate checks since we were 3 unrelated sets of adults that arrived separately. So, what could have been better? The chafing spoons were too small and too few, leaving us to pull the chafing plate to the edge of the lazy Susan and scrape. My dinner plate was too small, so I made a bit of a mess while eating.
