Good selection of Chinese food to choose from at China Inn. This review is specifically for an online order. Great portion sizes, good flavor, good prices. Def worth exploring the menu.

Restaurant Menu

I've been ordering from this place for almost a decade and it's truly a hidden gem for go to Chinese food lunch and dinner specials. Old Skool Chinese food . We ordered the deliciously tangy and crispy Tangerine Chicken which is a must try. Crispy Chicken glazed over with a rich, deeply glossy carmelized sauce and I also requested the Chefs Special Fried Rice with Shrimp & Pork in addition to their Mongolian Beef with Green & White crunchy savory onions with a rich , oyster-sauced brown meat glaze wok-seared throughout . This place is the classic , hole-in-the-wall for authentic Old-Skool style Chinese food . Great flavors !

This is a hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. Great customer service with great food. I really enjoyed it.

Shrimp chow fun

First time trying this place. My husband said it's good so why not? Dinner menu to go: shrimp chow fun, Mongolian beef, tangerine chicken, chicken with snow peas and mixed vegetables. I must say, not bad at all. We steamed our own jasmine rice. To go portions was good enough to feed 6! I think this is better than Panda Express (to me is Americanized style) but not at the level such as Mayflower (Milpitas) or Dynasty (formerly at Cupertino). I'm stuffed!!!

Ordered the below food from here a couple of days back through Uber East 1. Vegetable Fried Rice 2. Kung Pao Tofu I am going to be strictly honest here. I was highly disappointed with the quality and quantity of Vegetable Fired rice. It was not cooked properly. I tasted terrible, literally no flavors at all. I had to add all the kinds of flavors (even salt) by myself to make it edible. It costs pretty high for such low standard tasteless food. Kung Pao Tofu was just ok. One thing is for sure, I am never ordering food from here ever again.

Everything smells great and I could see everything being prepped fresh in be kitchen. Promising first impression Ordered takeout. Crab Puffs, candied prawns and white rice. I was disappointed by the food quality.

Their honey walnut prawns.... Couldn't be consumed.

Food was subpar. The meat was greasy and rubbery and there was no flavor. You'd be better off going to Panda Express.

My wife and I consistently come to Cap't Loui for our beloved Friday date nights at least once a month. We are ALWAYS so impressed with the yummy food (we always get 2lbs shrimp/2lbs crawfish combo in Medium Cap't Loui sauce with garlic noodles, garlic bread, and Cajun fries). Wifey and I are stuffed after this but will cleanse our palate with complimentary popsicles in the freezer by the entrance. So yes, the seafood boil and food is absolutely phenomenal. But even MORE impressive is the generationally excellent customer service, in particular from Aung and Edward. They are true servant leaders and I noticed they take care of each and every patron as if they were family members or royalty. Between the delicious food and the brilliant customer service, you better bet your bottom dollar that my wife and I will continue having our traditional Friday night dates at Cap't Loui!!!!

4.5 Stars Rating (:…read more Been hearing about Cap't Loui for awhile now, but haven't tried it until now! I usually go to Cajun Bistro for seafood boil, but I find the quality of the seafood there to be inconsistent, which made me want to try a new place. I got the 4lb combo with crawfish (frozen, fresh is $5 extra), shrimp, and clams, including corn, sausages, and potatoes. We also got garlic noodles and a calamari basket with cajun fries. For seafood boil sauce, we opted for the cajun instead of lemon pepper. I wasn't sure if I would finish everything, but it was INHALED. I really like the seafood quality here, but sauce-wise, I prefer Cajun Bistro for the garlic butter sauce. Cap't Loui does not offer that sauce, but it was still delicious overall. Service is timely and our food came fast, so thats a big plus. Only complaint I have here is that I wish there was more sauce in the bowl. The bowl had too much food, so I couldn't dip or soak my seafood in the flavor.

You could taste the light sesame oil and it was very tender. Pork Backbone Stew (4/5) - lightly spicy, and flavorful. You could really taste the hint of sesame oil and perilla leaves. This was my first time trying this stew. Grilled Beef Short Ribs (4/5) - grilled to perfection and seasoned well. Seafood Pancake (5/5) - served with a soy chili dipping sauce. The pancake was crispy, crunchy, and filled with seafood. It was really good. I'd come back. Support your local business.

I was worried they would be close by the time I get there since they close at 5pm and it was 4:45pm when we got there. There is parking in the back that you can drive in and park. I told them I wanted 120 Pacific oysters and the worker brought it out right away. They were $120 but since I used my card to pay, they tacked on $5 to the price. I think you have to spend a certain amount to avoid the $5 credit card charge. They asked if I was ok with it and I told them it was fine and proceeded to pay. They have newspapers on the side that you can use to put in ur car so the water from the oysters doesn't get on the car carpet. The oysters were really good and tasted fresh. We ended up killing all 120 oysters last night. Highly recommend this place for oysters. I heard certain hours of the day, the place can be packed so be prepared just in case you can't park inside and have to find street parking.

We arrived around 6PM and were seated immediately. We came for the seafood don and both got the UME with an addition of the ochazuke set. For $26 + 4.5 for the set, I think it's really worth the price and you get a good amount of fresh fish. Each bite felt like I was transported to Japan and eating a Kaisendon. Although we had to wait for a bit for the dashi soup to arrive , it was a delicious end to our meal. So comforting and hearty.

Same quality but Bigger portions and better dashi, for about the same price? Sign me up. My girlfriend and I skated the potato salad appetizer - a delicious DIY experience that let you control the texture of your potato salad (though I feel I overmixed), and two take bowls which were MASSIVE - easily could have shared. The seafood was fresh, the portions generous, and maybe it's because I have a more Americanized palate, but the mixed seafood dashi was richer and paired much better than a mild seafood chazuke. Plus it came with shiso leaves and tempura crunchies so it was really no comparison. Overall this was a delicious meal that left me extremely full, unlike other seafood bowls that leave you just a little too hungry. Given the tastiness of their dashi, I'll def be back to try their udon. Also, as an added bonus, my dogs love the little dashi fish topper on their food they sell separately at the front. Love! --- Sweet: amazing dashi broth, delicious seafood bowls. Rare instance of a dinner living up to the hype Bitter: wish they had mini versions of their more deluxe bowls!!
