Solid 2 stars. The place is filthy and was last updated sometime in 1980. You order at the counter and then wait. Food is packaged in sick styrofoam and they only have plastic utensils. Egg foo young - totally adequate. General Tso's chicken - tiny chunks of dark meat deep fried with a mild sticky sauce. Fried dumplings - surprisingly good. Hot and sour soup - weird. The styrofoam was just so gross. Food was gross. The place is gross. No reason to go back. Just sucks there aren't any good Chinese restaurants in the area. read more

I think it's stand Chinese food. It's always super busy though and it's been a desert staple for a long time. The dinning room seats about 30-35 people if you're staying in. I usually get mine to go though... personally I've had better but Chinese food can be a very subjective opinion depending on how it's made and what you're in the mood for. Id recommend it in a pinch, or casual dining. Not fancy though. My favorite is the cashew chicken. read more

I've had a lot of Chinese food in my life, and I have to say that this was the absolute best I have ever had. The flavor was excellent, it didn't taste overly salted, huge chunks of chicken and vegetables in the almond chicken, and the portion was enormous. Only reason for the star is zero stars aren't available. Came here looking for some good fast Chinese food. Ignored the bad reviews, hoped for the best. Walked in saw three people eating inside and no line to order. Stood at the register ready to order, and waited, and waited annnnnd, yes waited for about 8 minutes while the lady filling orders totally ignored me. Then she got into a very dramatic argument with a guy who was helping to cook. She was pushing boxes back at him, yelling, opening boxes and pointing at the food inside the boxes. Finally, she walked over to me, masked to her eyes and just stared at me. I said that I'd like to place an order to go, a three item order as they advertise. Well...still without a word from her I started making my order. As I stated which items I would like, she shook her head and said, "only 1 item food". I said no, I want a three item order and pointed at the menu board. I started ordering again and again she stated "only good on 1 item order!" So then I said ok what can I get for the three item plate? She stated back "eggrolls are the third item!" What the heck does that even mean?! I just turned around and left. TRUST the bad reviews! For now, I'll review their takeout items: Crab Rangoon: $5.95 6 pieces of crispy wontons stuffed with the right amount of cream cheese/crab mix & served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. Orange Chicken: $12.25 Large portion of orange chicken, which was good but not the best I've ever had. There were a lot of small pieces of chicken which consisted mostly of a thick layer of batter. The big pieces were good but still had a lot of batter on them. Reminded me too much of Panda Express. Sautéed Vegetables: $7.95 A good mix of veggies in a salty, light cream-like sauce. Broccoli, cabbage, sweet peas, mushrooms, etc. Cooked and seasoned well. Chicken Fried Rice: $7.95 Them some of the tastiest chicken fried rice I've had since I had it overseas a few years ago. I could've just had this for my entire meal! Beef Pepper Steak: $12.25 Large portion of onions, red/green bell peppers and thin slices of flank steak. Cooked in a savory soy/garlic-like sauce. Some of the beef was too fatty for my liking but I'm just picky about red meat. My friend said this was her favorite dish. If you're hungry and don't want to empty the entire piggy bank, try this place out. The portions are enough to feed a small army, the food is served hot (even delivered 9 miles away!) and the prices are great. We ordered food to go: fried rice with chicken, orange chicken, garlic chicken and Kung Pao chicken. I stupidly did not check the bag before I left and the garlic chicken was missing, which was fully paid. We called the restaurant and spoke with the manager who said she took the order and bagged the food and was indignant that all was in the bag. It was not. We will never go there again and the food really wasn't that good. read more

We order from China Jo's a couple times a month. Today was awful. First off lady needs to get off bluetooth and pay attention. Ordered #65 Combo Plate, Large. Comes with Fried Rice and Lo Mein Noodles. $12.59. Got home and had White Rice and no noodles. Called and complained. Apparently she is still on her bluetooth. Not happy with this order and also left a tip. Watch your orders and prices. Charged $12.99 on the combo when the menu says 12.59. read more

Sent my daughter to pick up a $10, 3 item plate. The woman at the counter told her the 3rd item is egg rolls you don't get to choose 3rd item. I added a side of rice, I only got $2 change from a $20 and to top it all off the lady forgot to add the egg rolls!! So upset! Never again.. So I called to ask about the price & missing egg rolls. I used to go to other Chinese food restaurants until I found this one. I am always absolutely satisfied when going here. I have been getting the Pad Thai, Kung Pao Chicken, Shrimp in Lobster Sauce, and Sesame Chicken. Those are all my favorites until I venture across the rest of the menu.
