Location is in scratchy area with people looking in the trash bens and one guy peed on the building. Walked in have seating available yet no dine in. Cashier didn't greet us, spoke very low. Menu is on the wall however it doesn't show dinner options. Only daily specials that come with one entree and one egg row for $8.99. They have one family deal that cost $36.99 that comes with 2 egg rolls, 2 fried shrimps, 2 teriyaki chicken (probably wrapped in foil or on small Skewers) I think egg drop soup 2 entrees and either steam or fried rice. There is a menu at the cashier that has more options to choose from. We ordered orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, hot and sour soup, veggie chow mein and both steam and fried rice. We were told 25 minutes was more like 35/40 minutes . They said they would call us when the food was ready. Felt like you also were not able to wait inside for your food had to wait outside or somewhere else. Food was the worst Chinese food we have ever had the veggie chow mein was dry no flavor besides the veggies tasting rancid. Hot and sour soup was literally hot oil and green onions I never in my life seen hot and sour soup look and taste like that. There was nothing inside it besides green onion. The orange chicken was decent but super soggy and the sweet and sour pork was like eating clumps of snot. There was hardly any pork pieces as the batter was clumped together and it was like undercooked and chewy. The veggies also tasted rancid and especially the pineapple can junks tasted so bad I actually vomited. Everything was absolutely disgusting note to self if there is a sign in the Resturant that says, "all sales are final" take the hint that there aren't good. To bad there is a no star option because it was just bad. Save your money!

Surprised at how good this place was !!! The location is not what you expect from the outside it does not look appeasing at all we only found this place because there is a laundry Mat in the same lot and we had to wash a huge rug that didn't fit in our washer at home lol , we were starving ... we thought about grabbing Jamba Juice but then we're interested in trying this place out and soo happy we did we were looking for a good quick shrimp fried rice and here it is ... we ordered a shrimp fried rice extra fried

Hard to make a complete review on one visit, and one item. But the food I did receive was lacking in flavor. The sauce wasn't very sweet. And I'm not the greatest cook. But I've made Generals chicken at home, that tasted better. I might try a different menu item on the next visit. I try most places twice just to be fair.

This once was one of my favorite places to go for cashew chicken. We went in for dinner, ordered beef broccoli and cashew chicken. There was another party in there, we were told the wait would be 25 minutes. I figured their food was good before, ok it would be worth it. The lady that took our order was not very friendly. The seating area wasn't very clean. Our food that we got was def not the same recipe as it was before. The food was very mediocre. My cashew chicken had cauliflower and red bell peppers. I was thoroughly confused. Maybe I just came in on the wrong day.

This was a quick and hearty meal. The food was plentiful. The food was inexpensive. This is off the strip, but quick Chinese food.

I just move to Las Vegas from California so I would like to think I have a well rounded knowledge…read moreon asian cuisine. On social media I've been seen this restaurant "China Mama" been popping up when I browse my Instagram, so today I was set on having lunch at this establishment. When I walked through doors, I was fascinated at the interior design of the place, the walls, tables and lighting because it had an atmosphere of exclusivity in a foodie type of way however at the same time the staff and service was impeccable and very welcoming to newcomers. What I noticed when I sat down is the teapot, the plates and the menu, the reason why I mentioned those things is because in a typical chinese restaurant, you see a white/red plastic plate with a chinese design on the front of the plate with teapots and teacups that have some residue on them. Along with a sticky menu book that sounds like velcro when you pull the pages apart. Rest assured because the dining set at this restaurant is nothing like that and the level of detail the manager or owner put it in must be applauded because it displays that they care for their customers and uphold the highest level of sanitation. The plates and the teapot were immaculate and also the menu was colorful and clear where I didn't know what dish I wanted to pick because I was so astonished with how vibrant the menu was designed. For new restaurants I always conduct my version of a litmus test regarding food. For chinese restaurants I order fried rice and whatever special pork dish they have on hand to gauge the type of quality I can expect. I will say this, I've had homecook fried rice, traditional fried rice and my goodness is this fried rice really spot on when it comes to flavor, seasoning and cook temperature. I order the shrimp egg fried rice and everything was delicious from the star of the dish being the shrimp to the vegetables. The blend was so harmonious that I was silently eating and lost track of time due to it being cooked to perfection. Secondly, I ordered the twice cooked pork with spicy sauce and the tenderness of the pork was so heavenly I indulge in more after more, even when I was full, my body was pushing my hand to eat more because I subconsciously didn't want the sensation of the umami to fade. I have never had a pork dish like that in a chinese restaurant. It's a far drive from where I currently reside so ontop of the lunch I had I decided to order to dish for to go so I can have the experience again for dinner. I order the pan fried pork dumplings along with signature salted egg yolk prawns. As much as I want to encourage people to try the restaurants I share on reviews, I secretly want to keep this restaurant to myself and just keep it hidden so it dosent get packed in the near future where I have to fight over reservations. That being said, whomever is looking for the best pound for pound chinese restaurant in Las Vegas? CHINA MAMA is THE best hidden secret in this city. It was a wonderful experience and it will not be the last time I visit this extraordinary establishment. Update: I took my mom, brother and sister to try this restaurant that I have been endorsing. Let me tell you how the popularity of this restaurant skyrocketed. I got there at 11:30, put my name down for a wait list not even 5 minutes has passed and 4 more people came in to put their name down. After a 20 minute wait there was an additional 12 names that were on the wait list. Service was so fast, and the pan fried pork buns was informed to us that it would take 45 min to a hour to make, of course we ordered appetizer, entrées, to be served to us when it's ready, so in the mean time we can have some food in our belly before the pork buns but that gors to show how popular that food item is and how its taken off. The waiter that waited our table was so excellent that we tipped him 30%, he was amazing. He's chinese with black frame glassess.

The dining area is long and narrow with vaulted ceilings, very high end Chinese decor mixed with a modern contemporary vibe in the lighting and the furnishings. You turn down the lights and it's definitely a date night type of place. The service was phenomenal from beginning to end. Alex took care of us from walking in all the way to dessert He was witty, funny and took the extra time to explain the intricacies of the dishes we inquired about. The experience was phenomenal lead by him and backed up by the kitchen and the rest of the team. He talked us into the duck special which came with duck soup, salt-n-pepper duck and whole duck carved at the table by Alex. Duck Soup - Delicious and savory broth. The cuts were tender and delicious. The best I've had in a long time. Salt N Pepper Duck - A crispy duck dish I've never had before. Good times. Guo Bao Pork - Creative, delicious and I understand why this is a feature dish. Green Beans - Perfect veggie pairing for all this food. The portions were so generous and I had 3 containers of food to take home for dinner. I appreciated the birthday dessert at lunch to finish off the experience. Well, that was a fantastic first visit. It definitely won't be the last as I see a dinner visit in the near future. Cheers!

Our favorite dishes were the Sizzling Beef in Black Pepper Sauce, Braised Sea Bass Clay Pot, Chili Fish Soup, and Green Beans. The duck was decent, but a but gamier and less oily and juicy than most of us were used to. We had higher expectations for the Sliced Beef and Ox Tongue in chili sauce. This is a cold appetizer which was fine, but did not have the depth of spice or aromatics that we were hoping for. Unfortunately the crispy beef wasn't great in our opinion and reminded me personally of the meat quality at Panda Express. Maybe this dish was meant to cater more to the Western palate. Service was relatively quick, including our duck being sliced up. The interior is elaborately decorated which surprised me as the building appears to be quite simple from the outside. I would consider visiting again next time I'm in the Vegas area.

It is located in the Trop Plaza on Tropicana Ave and Decatur Blvd. Plenty of parking. Spacious inside with lots of seating. Our server was pleasant and amicable. He attended to us frequently throughout our dining. Other lady servers brought us our food timely. Thank you All! Menu offers quite a variety... reg dim sum, delicious dim sum, chef specialties, house specialties, super dim sum, vegan no-meat dim sum, congee, noodles, rice dishes, appetizers, entrees, lunch specials, and more. Prices of the dim sum vary from $5.98 and up. We chose a handful of dim sum and one Shrimp & Pork Wonton Egg Noodles. Overall, dim sum was decent. A few of them could have been better in preparation, flavor, and taste. Wonton noodles were tasty. *Bean Sauce Chicken Feet - skin was on the tougher side, could have been more tender, sauce was too thick, flavor was okay *Crispy Taro Pancake - top layer was crispy, but taro fell apart when picked up by chopsticks *Egg Tarts - light and flaky crust with soft, smooth & jiggly egg custard filling, amazingly good, definitely would get again, wished it came with 3 instead of 2, they are bigger than normal egg tarts, but still *Fried Pork Ball - just okay, nothing special *Golden Sand Lava - huge baked bun with lots of oozing sandy egg yolk, must get! *Shrimp Dumpling - full of shrimps in thin skin, tasty filling, good size, worth the price! *Shrimp & Pork Chives Dumpling - more chives than shrimp and pork, flavor was mediocre *Shrimp & Pork Shumai - surprisingly flavorful, but wished there was more shrimp than pork Glad we got a chance to try this place. I would return to try their other dim sum and lunch specials in future LV visits. Worth stopping by if you haven'ty already.
