They have a lot of different hot sauce options which was very convenient! They don't have a spice level, so you can add whatever you need. Got the chicken satay, shrimp pad sew ee, crispy pork pad Thai, and sticky mango rice. The serving size is generous. The place is small they might not have seating room for you during busy lunch times. The staff is small, you will probably wait longer than you want for service. The food is legit. While I was there during lunch time it was non stop people coming to get take out. I had red curry with duck served with rice. I asked mild and it was just over mild but so good. It's in a small parking lot next to a tattoo shop and a tire shop, and my manager almost had second thoughts when we pulled in -- but I told him these are usually the best spots. Sure enough, I was right. The food was excellent. I ordered the duck noodles, level 10 spicy, and they were amazing. The duck was tender with zero bones, and the spice level was perfect. My manager got the fried rice and loved it -- and he's definitely not someone who normally eats anything "exotic." Only downside: it's in North Vegas, so about a 25-minute drive from the Strip. Needed a quick bite and this was close to my hotel. Small storefront with a very heavy door so it may feel locked but they were open. My server was friendly and attentive. The food came out very quickly but not too quick of you know what I mean? It was a perfect lunch portion with a spring roll a small salad and the green curry and rice. The curry had a hint of heat and was delicious. The sale was small but the dressing was a ginger one and was also a nice flavor. Narong's Thai Kitchen is a small Thai Restaurant located near Nellis Air Force Base. Some things here are better than other things. Last time we discovered that you want chicken over beef because the beef was very tough but prices are reasonable and portions are large. We started off by trying the scallion pancakes. They aren't actually pancakes and are puff pastry that was embellished with scallions. They were tasty but greasy. I tried the spicy basil eggplant with chicken. They gave me a very large portion but somehow forgot to add basil.....To me it tasted too salty and I couldn't eat much of it. I must note that my husband didn't agree that it was too salty. He can tolerate much more salt than me. But he thought that the chicken shouldn't be so hard. They must have had a different cook on today because last time the eggplant was amazing, delicious, and perfect. Today the eggplant had this incredibly hard skin that wasn't edible so the only thing I ate was what I could scrap out of the hard eggplant skin. My husband tried the Pad Prik King with Pork. He didn't care for the texture of the pork....He said usually the pork is crispy. He said this pork was hard and really needed to be cut with a knife that we don't have here. He also didn't like all the grease in the sauce and said it taste different that what he is used too. The. woman working there was somewhat disrespectful to me. She sat us in a small table by the portable air conditioner and I was freezing there and wanted to move. She said that we had to sit at that table so my husband and I switched seats. Cute little hole in the wall place tucked next a mechanic shop directly across from the base. We had the satay, coco shrimp and the green tofu curry. Fried appetizers were just ok. Curry was excellent. Had 7 on the heat level and it was kicking which I'm ok with. Vegetables were bright and fresh. Was hoping to get a couple things off the lunch menu but they don't do it on the weekends. Doesn't tell you that on the menu it's just a no. Only a few tables inside, but functional. Don't come in a hurry. Service is friendly and attentive but slow. I think the small kitchen gets bigger down by all the to go services they're listed on. Narong's Thai Kitchen is a yummy option for lunch. Convenient to Nellis, Narong's is located off of Craig Rd and tucked behind a car wash. Though small, the food is fresh and authentic. Even ordering as they opened they were already booked up. Here is what we ordered: 1. Panang Curry with Duck (special request): the curry has a lovely pepper taste. The bell peppers were a bit too big for me and the Thai basil is strong, The flavor is savory and the duck was phenomenal 2. Manasung Curry with Tofu: this curry was like a sweet peanut butter stew. I loved the peanuts and the tofu soaked in all that flavor 3. Pad See Ew with Tofu: the noodles werent extremely flavorful. Large pieces of Tofu so the protein was definitely abundant 4. Scallion Pancakes: this is NON traditional. Its like taking scallion pancakes and make it more like a roti bun. It was absolutely delicious and lovely dipped in both curries. Would recommend 5. Thai Garlic Rice: i loved the pieces of garlic, but its truly just plain rice. I originally thought I needed rice for the curries but they each came with some. This place has very good thai food and is one of the few places that offer thai sausage (which is very delicious btw!) Sadly they barely answer their phone and yes there is an option to order through their actual website but the thai sausage isnt listed on there. I had a great experience eating here. I was visiting for work and stopped in at lunch for a pickup. Not being familiar with the area, I looked for a good place, and I ordered directly on Yelp. The prices are super affordable compared to other places these days. The order process was super easy, and then drove there. It shares a parking lot with a mechanic, so it was hard to find it and park, but once I did, it was quaint inside with a lot of customers, trying to keep up with their order volume. It took a minute to get my order, but it was already ready when i got there. Kitchen is super timely, but i supposed they were backed up due to the lunch rush. I took it to go. The portion size was great, it wasn't a huge portion, but large enough to eat the rest for a small dinner. I got the green curry, and it was a fantastic flavor. Ok, I literally picked up the food 45 minutes and I had to do a review the food was that legit. I ordered online and arrived at the estimated time. The waitress was friendly. My order was ready at my arrival so I was only in there for like 45 seconds. The food was piping hot and delicious! I ordered the pad Thai and it was bomb. Ordered delivery from here and it was great value for what you get. The portions are huge considering their prices are among the lowest I've seen in town. I was super full with my meal, and would imagine most others likely have leftovers after eating here. Food was prepared quickly and packaged very well. The food itself was great. Dishes were flavorful without being heavy on sauce, something that's hard to come by with a lot of Thai restaurants. They weren't quite the best in town for any of the dishes I ordered, but at the price point they're charging, I wouldn't hesitate to order from here again. The only thing to note is that I got a 7/10 spice level on my Crispy Pork Thai Basil and it was very much on the mild end. If you're into spice like myself, consider going higher on the spice level than you usually do. read more

So glad I found this tucked away deliciousness ... coming from the valley of fire state park heading back to Vegas and I was starving and not sure what I wanted to eat. It was close to rush hour so I wanted to make sure I was closer to Vegas before stopping. It's in a small shopping center near a car repair shop and very unassuming. If you like good authentic Thai food, this is it. For about a $1.50 I added broccoli to my shrimp fried rice, and I requested Thai spicy and it definitely met the mark. The portion was large and so were the shrimp. The spring rolls are also tasty and the veggies inside had a nice crisp like steamed vegetables. Another reviewer mentioned that this was in a bad neighborhood. I am not from Vegas so I don't know the good and the bad areas but the area seemed quiet. I still stand by this place! Haven't had Narong's in a while because I switched up my eating habits. However, today, was not the day to be cute. I was craving Thai and immediately thought of Narong's. You can taste the quality and love they put in their food. I ordered my go to Scallion Pancakes and a few new things I haven't tried before because I was feeling adventurous. The Scallion Pancakes are consistently delicious. I haven't found any places that makes them as fluffy as this place. The scallion flavor is so prominent but pairs well with the pastry. Pure deliciousness. I took a stab at the Mongolian Entree with chicken this go round and wasn't too disappointed. I would say the chicken was a bit dry for my liking but those vegetables were deliciousness! Nice and seasoned and perfectly cooked. I don't know what mushrooms they put in it but they were some of the tastiest mushrooms I've ever had. The carrots were nice and soft, I mean I can go on and on about the other vegetables. If I ever order the Mongolian Entree again I would just get it with vegetables, and extra vegetables on the side. I also tried two new desserts for the first time: Thai Coconut Ice Cream and Patongo. The Thai Coconut Ice Cream has been added to my must order list when I come here. The ice cream was so fresh with the coconut flavor, but not too much coconut. There were coconut shreds blended inside so you got some texture with it, and the caramel drizzle on top added a nice sweet touch. The Patongo paired well with the ice cream and tasted like an elevated funnel cake. I like how it was nice and flaky, sort of like the dough they use for the scallion pancakes. The caramel sauce that comes with the Patongo is so good and adds the perfect sweetness to this dessert. I will be back to try more items on their menu, rest assured! read more
