The staff seemed confused, and the manager seemed frustrated that we were making the reservation at the last minute. We ended up having a cocktail and enjoying the poached pear and arugula salad with some wagyu meatballs, which were all pretty tasty. While the restaurant is stunning and would be a lovely place to spend an evening, and the food and drinks were enjoyable, the overall experience makes me reluctant to return. I do hope the they improve their service so that future patrons feel more welcomed and less like a burden, as Topa has the potential to be a fantastic spot in Camarillo.
