Delivery was fast. No flavor difference between the Orange chicken and the General tso chicken though. Chicken fried rice was great though.

I am stumped by the number of 5 star reviews on here. I tried it for the first time tonight and I was not impressed. Chicken and corn soup was ok. Egg rolls were ok at best and mushy. The General Tso's wasn't good at all. I did like the Mongolian Beef, but it was really salty. None of this food was terrible, I guess I just had really high expectations based on the reviews. The place was clean and the people were friendly. This isn't a bad business, I just don't think it is 5 star food. There are several better chinese restaurants within a few miles. My advice...even though the ratings don't reflect it, Chin Chin is much better for takeout. read more

After ordering here consistently for a couple of years, I have had the worst service ever tonight. At 6 p.m. I placed an order and was told it would take 30 to 45 minutes period after an hour I called to find out what happened and was told that they cancelled my order because they weren't going to get to it! They had already charged me for it, and they had never called me back to tell me they were canceling. So after waiting an hour I have no food nothing to feed my family no apology and I got hung up on when I ask to speak to the manager. I cannot believe a customer has ordered consistently every week like we do was treated so poorly. Now to see if I even get my money back from them read more

Bonus points for good delivery Chinese in Acworth...it has been a sore point for awhile if you lived in the 30101. As for the food,spot on mushoo pork, better than average crab Rangoon and nice little nuggets of fried General Tso made for a very nice delivery. Great location for me to pick up dinner on the way home and for us to get to on a Saturday night. Clean dining room and restrooms. Friendly staff. Moderately priced. Food served fresh (veggies are very fresh), hot, and best of all NOT overly-salted/MSGd. We've had a variety of dishes there and have loved them every time. Last time my wife had the combo chicken/ vegetables and I had combo Hunan beef/ vegetables. Loved it. My wife was not a big fan of the won-ton soup though, she thought it was bland (it was fine to me but to each her own). 10x better than any other Chinese food in a 20 mile radius (yes, we like some Chinese food and have tried them all). One of the very few Asian restaurants that I like in the South. Very large portions, quick service, and always delicious.

What a gem tucked away in this quaint little shopping center! My wife and I have dined her multiple times and always race about how delicious the food is! This place is great. There are so many average Chinese restaurants around this area where all you seem to get is "landfill". This place has real flavor (no MSG) where each dish has its own taste. 100A on the health score with a very clean and crisp kitchen. Prices are good too. If you choose to dine it is comfortable and the service is friendly and prompt. This is a new establishment (about 4 months old) and family run. They are really trying hard to distinguish themselves and I think and have succeeded - let's hope they keep this standard up as time goes on. Give it a try - you won't regret it. read more

Have been ordering from China Moon for years. Great take out service. Very good American style Chinese at a good price. Very quick delivery. Great lunch specials too. Around $6 for main dish, fried rice, egg roll and choice of soup. The dining room is nice but normally fairly empty in this college town. read more

Service was good, food was delicious! The spring rolls are excellent and the wonton chips are perfect with sweet and sour. Kids menu has variety which is a nice plus. They weren't too busy the few times we had gone in, so it was a pretty well balanced atmosphere. Prices are excellent for the serving sizes and will definitely keep us going back. read more

The won ton soup was incredibly bland and tasteless...the hot and sour soup was a bit better, with a nice flavor. I ordered the triple Szechuan and it was decent...the meat was very tender with little fat, and the portion was good. The spicy brown sauce was far from spicy (I even asked for extra spicy). I was the only person in the place but many came for their phone-in orders. All In all, it was ok but I've had far better Chinese...albeit not here as I'm an out of tower. read more

OMG a clean Chinese restaurant!!! When you first walk in the pleasant smell is wonderful. No dead fish smells or old garbage like some places. The booths are nice and clean and not all beat to hell and back. The staff super nice and prompt! No one yelling nor slinging stuff around in the kitchen. Oh and the door to the kitchen was clean. Okay, so now you know how clean they are. The food is good too. NOT fantastic, but good. It could use a little something and I am thinking less Americanism in the flavor. I really like authentic food that comes from a nasty smelly place that looks like it has been beat to hell and back called tasty china. That said, as a west Cobb snob I like finding places in my own hood. Range rovers, Benz and all. Chicken Lo Mein Delish! Szechuan Chicken "I asked for extra spicy" Not so great, didn't even sweat a drop, not full flavor, too Americanized. HIGHLY disappointed with their Moo Goo Gai Pan. I was in the mood for some chicken and veggies, but got a sea of colorless goo. I have had one dinner that is good from here, the Honey Garlic Chicken...I now know not to branch out and try new things...the Huan Beef a few weeks ago was also a disappointment. read more

Hands down the worst food experience I've ever had in West Cobb. On literally two separate occasions, I entered the restaurant for "dine-in". On each occasion, only two tables were occupied. The remaining empty tables were unclean (old food, plates, napkins, etc.) and no one was in any hurry to clean those tables. Walked out both times. Will never return. read more

I have been to this restaurant multiple times over the last 4yrs. This is the first time in more than a yr. The experiences were good in the past. Tonight was terrible. As far has i could tell if you came in for take out you were taken care of quickly. The restaurant has a dozen or so tables. Tonight 3/4 were full with one person taking drink orders, food orders & running food. In addition he was getting to go orderes out. The to go orders were priority. Because we never saw him again after we recieved our food. No drink refills no ticket nothing. The cash register had 2 people at it one on the phone taking...... You guessed it to go orderes. The other standing doing nothing. Now for the food. The egg drop soup was bland. The Almond Fried Shrimp so salty i stopped eating it. The egg roll bland. After waiting for a check i finally went to the register. The guy doing nothing was getting my ticket. The waiter that couldn't be bother to show back up to our table took the ticket from him took my cc and handed it to the guy running the register. I paid and have never left a restaurant without tipping.... Until tonight. Terrible service. Terrible food. Wont be back. read more

I ordered delivery because my husband was sick and i just came home from work. Our budget it tight so this was going to be a treat. Let me tell you it wasnt! When i ordered they put me on hold for 15 minutes. We waited 2 hours and 45 minutes for our food!Then when we received it all of it was cold. The rice had no flavor at all. I ordered shrimp and broccoli and there was 4 shrimps in the whole order. The wontons with the order were so crushed up my husband had to throw them away because they would have made his soup mush. Excellent high quality food. Experienced chef. I was surprised to walk in and see the small but eclectic dining room. I noticed the duck sauce on the tables were of high quality, not the red syrup that you normally see. I eat out 3 x a week and go alll over metro Alana to do so. I have been in west Cobb 12 years and east Cobb 12 years...this place is a keeper! A new favorite and easy to get to. The lunch waitress is sweet and attentive. I saw the 1 star review...yeah my broccoli was crisp, but thats the proper way to serve it. It was perfect for reheating in my take out order. Went back for dinner, excellent again, but no beer or wine due to location. Take it out and enjoy with a good adult beverage! read more

This restaurant is your typical Chinese establishment. The portion sizes are very large; I always feel like I've been eating and eating, but my plate never seems to get empty! Definitely always have some to take home. Hot and sour soup, which is my absolute favorite, is a bit lacking. It's okay, but not spectacular, definitely a little bland. Standard fare, I usually get sesame chicken, my boyfriend really likes their lemon chicken. Pad thai noodles is also a good choice. Excellent appetizers, especially the crab rangoon and sesame donuts. I love their chicken wings! Have also ordered for delivery as well as take-out, both were easy and quick. It's rather small on the inside and they sometimes are so busy that service is a bit lacking (having to wait for drink refills and the like). I think they are understaffed. All-in-all, we have been pretty pleased with this one. We needed a new Chinese place since Chin Chin closed, and this one is close by and fits the bill. Ordered Sesame Chicken which was dry and tasteless, lo mein that again had no flavor and egg rolls that were flavorful but greasy. This was not what I was expecting and find this location to be inconsistent with their food. Hard to find good, consistent Chinese food in Acworth...I'll keep looking for the "right" location but this is not it. read more

My wife and I get take-out from this excellent West Cobb location on a frequent basis. My wife is gluten free and the cooks and owners understand how to handle and prepare food so that there is no gluten contact. She loves the Pad Thai noodles and I love many of their dishes. The Mongolia beef is great as is the General Tsoa's chicken is awesome. I also love their Hot n.Sour soup. read more
