Service is really nice and my order was made fresh on the spot, and it didn't take long ! I ordered the vegetable lo mein, it was delicious!!! You could really taste the flavor of the sauce, the noodles were tender, and the vegetables were savory. It wasn't too salty or anything, like most chinese restaurants. I know Chinese food in the south can be hit or miss. China Moon place is no exception. We ordered chicken and broccoli, shrimp loin mein and fried wings. Everything was overcooked and swimming in sauce and had a ton of salt. The broccoli had a bitter taste, shrimp were soft and the wings were too salty to eat. I think they drowned everything in salt to mask the fact the food was old. Our dog didn't want the leftovers. He sniffed it and rolled his eyes. Maybe I'm spoiled because I've eaten authentic chinese food. This nasty salty mess turned me off for a good while. read more

I'm obsessed with this place! Such good food and amazing service!!! I forgot to check my bag to make sure everything was there, I had a very large order and when I got home I realized there were no egg rolls. I called up and they were more than happy to have me come back and get more. I show up and they gave me EXTRA! How fricken nice is that! Mama loves some egg rolls! Good food. Very tasty. Pleasant and fast service. The owner speaks English clearly and is good at remembering returning customers. They do have a eat in small setting. They keep it clean. I normally order pick up. They don't deliver, which I would like to have that service available. Good portions and it's convenient for me since is only 5 minutes away for me. This is my go to Chinese takeout place. The egg rolls are crisp, but not greasy. The won-ton soup is great. It is exactly what I expect from a New York Chinese restaurant, only in Palm Bay. The service is fantastic. We once had an error in our takeout order and they drove the missing food out to us. The fresh spicy mustard costs a little extra (not the stuff in the plastic packets), but it is worth it if you like that "clear your nasal passages" kind of heat. The sweet and sour chicken is done just right and my wife loves their lo mein. This is a 5 star takeout place, but in all fairness to other restaurants, it does lack in the dine-in experience. Only four tables, one is almost always in use by the employees or their children. I find that charming for the takeout experience, but not so for dine-in. read more

Ordered 4 items on Saturday at 2 pm. Got home and had 1 ordered Item and 3 items we didn't order. We ordered 2 types of noodles and got full dinners instead. The food here is usually good but the order taker speaks poor English. Now they have this stupid window with a child's intercom and you can't understand what they're saying . Was very disappointed. So many told me they are awesome. I usually go to Lins Garden in Bayside but I figured I would cave and give China Moon a try today. The pepper steak was very chewy, the rice was ehhh, egg roll was gross and fortune cookie was very stale. All in all it was so disappointing and pretty tasteless. Guess I will be sticking to Lins as I know I always get good food there. Wish I didn't waste my money eating at China Moon. I was so craving chinese today so I am totally bummed at the outcome. =( Two thumbs down read more

One of the BEST take outs here in Palm Bay. Service always friendly and quick. Reasonable as compared to all the other take outs. Never a bad meal from China Moon. Only reason for 4 stars instead of five, parking. Parking is not very well done here as it shares the lot with others in plaza and yet still, idiots who come pick up their food will park illegally curbside. I never seen this more laziness than here in Palm Bay. Store owners should be discouraging this. Sorry. Just not the only one who feels this way. Otherwise, China Moon all the way. read more

They were busy when I entered and thought that was a good sign. Ordered the general tso's dinner combo with fried rice and an egg roll. Honestly...it was just alright. Definitely not the best general tso's I've ever had. A bit lacking in flavor and spice. The rice wasn't all that great either. Needed bean sprouts. The egg roll was good, but they cooked that way before they started my order and it was cold when I got it. All in all, it all could have been due to their rush, but I wasn't too pleased with my order. Good news was that the combo was only $7.75 (without tax). One of the cheaper gigs aroind that I've been to. Can't recommend this place from my first visit, but will give them another chance later on down the road. read more

Food is above average but the service has really been bothering me lately. FIVE TIMES in a row they have told us a half hour wait and we show up and have to wait at least an extra 25 minutes. If there was another decent chinese place i would go their instead. I'd be much happier if i was told 45 minutes and showed up to the food being ready. read more

China Moon is over the moon in taste.....it's all yummy. if nothing else...just order some of their lo mein......delish and nice portions! We just finished China Moon take out...lots left for lunch tomorrow.....try it you'll love it. ohhhh but for me their egg foo young is the star at the moon....the gravy is awwwwesssome! read more
