Chicken teriyaki bowl with white rice and veggies- very good
Holly T.

Easy parking at this strip mall off of 1-40 and Charlotte near Nashville. We had been wanting to try this place and were very pleased! The taste of my teriyaki chicken white rice bowl with vegetables really hit the spot. There are extra sauces on the tables and since we dined in I added teriyaki sauce to my bowl for more flavor. They are friendly here when taking your order and the food came right out within minutes. Nice place for a quick but scrumptious meal!

The Egg Roll was long and crispy. It went well with the sweet & sour sauce.

Surprisingly good fast food teriyaki! I'm really glad I finally tried Teriyaki Madness. The food is good and there are more choices than just chicken and beef. You order at a counter and they bring you your food. Your teriyaki can come with a combination of vegetables (mixed or only broccoli), rice (white, brown, or fried), or noodles. I ordered a regular size Spicy Chicken Teriyaki "Yaki Style" combo meal with an egg roll and a fountain drink. Yaki Style basically means stir-fried with noodles and veggies. It was really good and the spice level was perfect. It was a large portion of size with lots of chicken, noodles, and veggies. There are a several tables inside the restaurant and there are some humorous signs on the walls. The egg roll was long and crisp. The filling was mostly vegetables and it went well with the sweet & sour sauce that was provided. The staff were nice and the fountain drinks have unlimited free refills. All in all, this was a good value for the money. I will most likely order the exact same thing next time. I really enjoyed it.

Pretty decent for casual fast food. I got the large combo with teriyaki chicken and spicy teriyaki tofu and fried rice. Fried rice was an additional cost of $1.50 I think and the vegetables came with it. It was super quick once I ordered it. The food was pretty good for a fast food meal. I liked the teriyaki sauce on the meats, well seasoned. They had lots of meat options and base like veggies and white rice as well. The staff was super nice teaching me how to use the rewards program.

So glad to have checked out this restaurant! The portion, the price, the flavor, and the service is what makes me want to support this business. I've tried the chicken katsu, the salmon, and the steak teriyaki. The katsu was fine - dark meat and heavy on black pepper, it was very flavorful - but not my favorite. The salmon was solid, and the teriyaki sauce on top was great, but maybe a little overcooked and meaty. The steak was thinly sliced and very tender! The white rice was perfectly cooked and the vegetables that come with the bowl were outstanding. I might come back just for those! While we waited, the cashier came back and started talking to us about the food. When we asked questions about some of the dishes, the chef? cook? manager? owner maybe? came out and gave us some insights: - All of their sauces are made in house! - The orange chicken is the only thing that comes frozen (but was also the favorite of the cashier, so no shame). - Their seasoning is heavy on garlic powder and black pepper (in a good way, but bring breath mints on your date) - All chicken dishes except the orange chicken is dark meat Some other things to know: PARKING & ACCESS - Teriyaki Madness is located in the strip mall to the left as you enter the Walmart/Lowes parking lot. There is ample parking and easy access to the main door! INTERIOR - The restaurant is pretty small, but interesting to look at and very clean! Music plays mostly in the front area by the counter, leaving the back end of the restaurant to feel private and pretty quiet if its not busy. The counter is directly in front of you as you walk in with the kitchen area directly behind it. Seating is available in that front space near the counter and around to the left toward the back. ORDERING - This is a counter-service restaurant where you order and pay at the counter (directly in front of you when you walk in) and they bring your food to your table when its ready. To order, you choose your size, your base (rice, noodles, etc), and your protein. All orders come with stir-fried vegetables. Drinks are self-service and located to the left of the counter around the corner. Options include Pepsi products (Pepsi Zero not diet though) and sweet or unsweet iced tea. UTENSILS - They have chopsticks and forks available. At our most recent visit, the offered us my new favorite utensil, a chopstick-fork hybrid I'm calling the chork (name under development). PACKAGING - All orders are packed in reusable to go containers, even if you're eating in the restaurant, and they encourage you to bring them home to wash and reuse. There is a trash can by the front door if you don't want to! SEATING - Most tables had moveable, wooden chairs. Toward the back there are a couple of booths available. There are some small round two-person tables, a hand-full of four-person tables, and a small bar across the front window. It would be difficult to fit a large group here if they were busy. RESTROOMS - Single-person, gendered bathrooms are available in the very back of the restaurant just past the booths. Restrooms are very spacious and clean.

Fantastic food. We over ordered but glad we got to try some different items. Definitely will order again.

It's been 3+ weeks and I haven't received any communication from this store after corporate contacted them. I haven't even received a refund after having literal melted plastic in my food. Embarrassing.

Great spot for healthy and quick food! Super good service and large portions. I got the spicy chicken, but the steak looked good too.

The answer is...the answer. Eric R. randomly selected Answer on a list of restaurants we scrolled…read morethrough to make a reservation for on our first night in Nashville this week. It is tucked in a neighborhood in the West End, and most people were surprised we found it or had heard of it as non-locals. It is a very popular spot. We arrived 20 minutes early and snagged the last parking spot in the lot behind the restaurant. Eric R. wanted to sit outside, so we were directed to wait at the bar until a table opened up. I got the cucumber sage yuzu spritz mocktail, and Eric R. got a local amber beer. Our table was ready within 10 or 15 minutes, so we migrated to it for dinner. Our server was helpful in providing recommendations. We started with three shareables: the mussels in lemongrass serrano beer broth and grilled bread, tempura long-stemmed artichokes on Calabrian chile mascarpone, and the lamb lollipops with pearled cous cous. I tasted the lamb, and it was heavenly, like melt-in-your-mouth tender but with a lot of caramelization. That was really Eric R.'s choice so I let him eat the majority of it. I really enjoyed the mussels and the artichokes! Everything was hot and delicious. I was sipping broth with a mussel shell when the bread ran out, and the host came out with more bread for us! It was so good. We asked to see a dessert menu. Eric R. had a tough choice between carrot cake and blondie with caramel ice cream, but was steered toward the blondie and did not regret it. I asked what the house made ice cream was for the day, and it was coconut matcha with a white chocolate shell topping. That sounded so perfect, and it was AMAZING. The evening was beautiful, the restaurant was lovely, the service was fantastic, and the food was delicious! That is the answer!

Answer has been on my list for happy hour! $6 drinks and snacks! They have a great happy hour with…read moresolid food and drink options. HEADS-UP the happy hour menu is bar-top only, so plan accordingly if you're going specifically for those deals. Limited seating available. Happy Hour & Spice Level I had the happy hour cocktail it was bourbon, lemon and honey. The food was flavorful overall, but I do wish the menu clearly noted which items are spicy. Most of the happy hour dishes seemed to have some kind of chili oil or heat element. That may be great for people who enjoy spice, but it would be helpful to know ahead of time, especially if you're sensitive to heat. For dessert, we always come back for the chocolate panna cotta with graham cracker crumble and burnt marshmallow, which was a nice sweet finish. This one is a must! To put this into next level I recommend adding the pretzel bites instead of graham cracker and a few salted flakes. We also tried the almond butter cornbread with blackberry, but I would avoid it. It was pretty dry and didn't have enough balance. The manager? Said it was a new item they were trying. I think it would be much better with ice cream or a salted caramel sauce to add moisture and richness. It was dry even when I mentioned it they didn't comp it we only had a bite and immediately decided it wasn't worth it. Final Thoughts Overall, Answer is a nice spot with a great happy hour, but clearer spice notes on the menu and a few tweaks to the dessert options would make the experience better. If you are seating by the bar it gets loud I wish the bartender doesn't just throw the drinks/plates so aggressively that it clanks. Also this place gets loud definitely not a lot for sound to absorb.
