Have had take out several times now and will continue to enjoy their food in the future. The egg rolls are among the best I've ever had, and I've made my own from scratch before. The chow mien and moo shu are very good, as well as the chicken fried rice with big pieces of white meat. They are very busy on weekends which is evidence to their customer satisfaction. Ate dinner there yesterday. Nothing about it was good. The quality of the chicken was terrible on all three dishes. I'm not convinced that there was any real chicken in the Kung Pow. Sweet and sour chicken was 80% breading. Even the chicken fried rice was bad. Nothing was "authentic" Chinese. Service was also terrible. Felt that the waitress was "annoyed" the entire time. This was my second time here. I forgot how much I disliked it because we got carry out the first time and I didn't pick it up. I will never eat here again. I did not eat here, so my review is based solely on my analysis of the menu when I went in to look at it. I did not have any food, so my rating does not reflect food quality. I wanted to check out the menu before committing to eating here, so I went inside to look at it. It was lunchtime, so I was interested in any lunch specials that were offered, which most Chinese restaurants in the area offer. I saw some lunch specials and some combination plates, which were different. There were also full and half-sized dinners. I didn't necessarily want a lot of food, but I wanted soup, rice, and an egg roll with my meal. None of the menu options seemed to include all of these items so I asked the server to clarify. She said that nothing on the menu comes with all three items. Almost everything comes with rice, but only either soup or egg roll. I was surprised by this so chose not to eat lunch here. Of course I could have added an extra side, but I was displeased that no options of its menu included the three basic sides that one expects from a Chinese restaurant. read more

Stopped in on a whim. Googled Chinese restaurants near my location, and this one came up so we decided to give it a try. We will definitely return. Had to try several of our favorites, so we had vegetable soup, Crab Rangoon, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Beef and Broccoli, and General Tso's Chicken. Knew we would be taking leftovers home, and we were not disappointed. Food was piping hot, service was excellent, and prices very reasonable. Nice hidden little gem. Food is always fresh and tasty. They always do a good job on the carry outs as I would not be inclined to dine in there. I do suggest they up their white rice portions with each meal as I can't imagine Chinese food containers coming any smaller. Shrimp with lobster sauce was excellent and contained shrimp, roast pork and lots of krab. I like that they don't use the cheap styro containers. I ordered a combination plate and the rice was under the entree. Plenty of rice. I was very pleased with my meal. read more

I usually LOVE this place! But I just ordered take out from there and almost all the shrimp in my shrimp fried rice still had poop in them and the other half was way over cooked. Pretty good food for the price. Lunch items run $5-$7 and are available until 3:30. Includes choice of egg roll or soup. And soups are very good, hot and sour with chunky pork or clear chicken with 3 stuffed wontons. Or you can order just the egg rolls and soup for an even cheaper price -- very satisfying. The food is rather bland, and even the hot items are not very spicy. But overall, I would say very tasty for the price. Lots of fresh vegetables, however they use celery instead of Bok Choi. The place is clean and brightly lit. We were there about 3 and it was not crowded, which we generally regard with suspicion. However, there was a steady stream of customers coming in for takeouts -- maybe 10 in an hour. We made sure to take a takeout menu with us. read more

Ordered Cashew chicken; Disappointed that the chicken did not resemble chicken (seemed fatty/breaded). I called and talked to 'C N' and she explained it was chicken neck and some starch added. After some debate indicating my assumption it would be a combination of white (preferably) and dark meat - rather than mostly the skin from 'chicken neck, CN indicated they will do it with white meat upon request. Cheap. But not worth it. The wonton soup was the only decent thing. I got the sesame chicken combo. I thing they got confused with the sweet & sour chicken. I'm not sure what it was. My family and I have eaten here a few different times with motsly postivie reviews. The worse thing I have had here was the Kung Pao chicken. This dish had absolutely no taste, no heat nothing. The sesame chicken is good as is the general Tso although I wish there was more heat with this dish. My wife enjoys the fried rice and the lo mein has gotten good reviews from people that I have been with who have eaten it. Overall not a bad choice for americanized Chinese food. read more

I haven't eaten the food yet but am very displeased with the girl who answered the phone to take my order. She answered "China Town", no name or a "thank you for calling China Town", and when I said I would like to place a take out order she said" um hum" not knowing if this was a question or not I just placed my order, qt of chicken lo-mein, qt kung pao chicken, qt pepper steak, qt almond chicken, and a large hot and sour soup. She didn't say anything while I ordered or after, I had to ask her if she was still there. Then I had to please ask her to read the order back to me to make sure she wrote it down correctly. the I had t ask her if she needed a name for the order and how long it would take. She never even told me how much the order would cost! I hope the food leaves a better taste in my mouth than the ordering process. I am a first time customer and thus far am not impressed. read more

We came to China Town last night. We ordered 2 dinners of scallops with vegetables and asked for peapods instead of green peppers but when the order came there were no peapods. We also asked them if they were little scallops or big scallops, because if they were little scallops we would order something else. He showed using his hand the were large scallops, but when we opened our dinners they were little scallops. Very disappointing when you asked and explain you would order something else if they are the smaller scallops, but they lie to you. The brown rice was very tough and chewy... almost under cooked and we order brown rice all the time so we know it was not cooked thoroughly. Very disappointing they were not truthful about the scallops and did not add the peapods as requested especially as this one of the most expensive items on the menu and a special treat for us. This was our holiday dinner and made it a very disappointing meal. read more
