I went yesterday to grab some dinner. It was around 7 pm. They were still really busy. I assumed it was really good. They are in between Starbucks and Baskin Robbins. I ordered cream cheese won tons and Mongolian beef. They are covid safe and have a window to order through and pick up. The cashier is a little aloof and I waited about 15 minutes. Got my food home and the won tons were really good. The Mongolian beef on the other hand wasn't. The rice was mushy and the beef was chewy. Also I've never had jalapeños in my Mongolian beef wtf?! No Thai peppers, just a ton of onion and jalapeño. Kind of off putting. I might try it again but order something else. The one item plate had a ton of rice and not much entree. If I do go back it would be to get the win tons. I also noticed while sitting and waiting a lot of people call in their orders. read more

Overall I can see why people come here, they give you an abundance of food. The orange chicken was pretty tasty, the mushroom chicken was pretty good, but the fried rice was a little different never seen fried rice w/o peas and carrots and no egg and part of the fried rice was over cooked and wheres the fortune cookie!!! read more

Overall, this place does the job. It's a simple set up for take out. My Go To here is the 2 item combo. I usually go half and half on the rice and chow mein. My entrees rotate between the broccoli beef, Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, and my favorite of theirs, salt and pepper fish. The beef dishes are very rich in flavor. The fish is great because I never really see this entree in any other Chinese place. I love fried fish and this one has very soft and flaky white fish in a tempura batter with peppers and onions. Every now and then, I'll pick up some Won Ton Soup, which is pretty good. One big thing to mention here is their portion sizes. They give you a huge helping of each item, so there's no doubt that you get the most for your buck here. They usually keep the food stocked up pretty well and if they need to cook more, it normally doesn't take very long. I'm usually in and out, which is exactly what you want from a place like this. Typically, I'm picking up food on my way home from work. This place is in the Save Mart parking lot right off the freeway exit and only a few minutes from my house. Stop over in Lathrop... We were coming from L.A. and was passing through Lathrop around dinner time when hunger struck our tummies so we took to the exit and found this Chinese restaurant. Actually, I just wanted ice-cream from an ice-cream shop. Walked in and checked out what's cookin'. The concept is like Panda Express style. The menu was simple with about 8 choices of dishes including favorites like beef broccoli, orange chicken, kung pao chicken, pepper chicken... kind of like Panda Express where most of their dishes are a variety of chicken. LoL! Daughter and I got the one entree plate which is one entree and one side, hubby had 2-entrees. The portions were huge. I chose fried rice and Mongolian Beef. The fried rice was a bit dry and the Mongolian Beef was 3/4 veggies... where's the beef?? Not complaining though because the price was right! A one entree plate was only $4.95, two entrees $5.95, three for just $7.59. These prices no longer exist anywhere in our area so it was nice to get a decent dinner for cheap still. Best Chinese food in the valley! Proportions are generous and they're constantly cooking more. I go here with my family and friends often and they never disappoint. The lady who serves is super kind and communicates well. It's a great place for a quick meal grab as well. A favorite in my household is the honey walnut shrimp - it's crispy but it's honestly the best way to be made. The place has a comforting vibe - just a mom and pop restaurant with great food. I wasn't that hungry so I didn't get a full order, just a small takeout container packed to the brim with chow mein and fried rice. These were the only veggie options and I was kindly allowed to choose half of each. The chow mein--and I am not usually a chow mein fancier--was some of the best I've had. In fact, it was addictive; I polished off the lot despite my resolution to save half. It had just the right balance of moisture, sweetness, salt, etc. I didn't need to add extra seasoning. We got the two item plate and a side of walnut shrimp. I ordered white rice with orange chicken and Mongolian beef. We really enjoyed the orange chicken! Saucy and pieces of orange peel gave it authentic flavor. Rice was nice and fluffy which is never expected. The walnut shrimp was super fresh and crispy and had a good flavor and tossed well. However it needed more walnuts and the sauce is more clear than white like mayo. The pricing was cheap too imo compare to others. However I am knocking off a star cause I asked the lady how spicy was the Mongolian beef was and she said not spicy at all. Mongolian beef is suppose to be spicy but I wanted to know scoville level. read more

I called and placed a large order for pickup. I was disappointed to find out that they do not offer Sweat & Sours Pork only Chicken not even Pork Fried Rice is offered. That right there loses one star. I'm on the hunt for a new Chinese place since my favorite place recently closed down and the other sold to family and is not the same. Anyways back to the order. I ordered 2 orders of Chicken Chow Mein, 1 order of General Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Orange Chicken, Sweat & Sour Chicken and Lemon Chicken. Portions were very large and generous. I got there he was making most of my items fresh but the Orange chicken and Broccoli Beef were taken from the steamer trays that sits out when people order meal plates. The Sweat & Sours sauce was not red like I prefer and did not have any white onions or bell peppers but still tasted OK. I had a hard time figuring out what order was the Sweat & Sour and General Chicken because they looked similar in color. The food tastes OK to good and you get large portions so I'll give this place 4 stars. I would order here again since they do give you large portions and it is good but not great. read more

Oh my gosh! The food was overflowing! We got 1 3-entree serving with half & half rice and chowmein and my hubby and I were stuffed to the brim and couldn't finish the 1 order. Maybe we had great timing. I noticed they cook in small batches and with a bit of a line, they keep cooking fresh batches after just a few servings because they put so much in 1 serving. Authentic Chinese taste. Ran by husband who was the cook and wife who was serving. There's no way they could serve so much if it wasn't that they run a tight shift. I ordered Salt & Pepper fish bites, House fried rice & house chow mein. Honestly. I'm legit upset we ate it all. The shrimp was soo juicy and flavorful as well as plentiful unlike Mose places. The bbq pork was just right sweet, and the chicken was juicy wit good flavor. My apologies for no photos this round. I'm gonna need to plate it for those next time around and I'll definitely drop the shots up for you guys. Aside from that.
