Great tasting and affordable chinese cuisine! China Wok Express is really the underdog when in comes to chinese food in my opinion. Delicious, cheap, and fast! They have a simple menu that ranges from 1 to 3 entree plates with a decent selection of entrees to choose from. Everytime I go here I tend to get the 1 entree and 1 side plate with fried rice and mushroom chicken. Oh man the mushroom chicken is delicious, so flavorful with chunks of mushrooms that burst with flavor, by far my favorite entree from this spot. Came in here for lunch and got the half fried rice and half noddles with sweet sour pork and pepper chicken. The price and food was not bad but the wait time is a bit nerve racking I was waiting for almost 20 mins for my simple order I get they were busy I see 3 cooks back there and 1 person up front getting orders and 1 person refilling the warmers, so just keep in mind to pack your patience when ordering if you get in and out thas a bonus, I'll try this place again. read more

How can people rate this place 5? The woman gave my order thru small window bcoz of covid. I got goosebumps & disgusted when I saw her nails!!!!! My goodness!!! Its really dirty!!!!! And she holds cash then go back to scooping your order yuck!!!!! No hygiene at all!!! Somebody needs to be in charge of handling food & other person handles the money. I walked in excited to try this place because it had good overall reviews. But as soon as we walked in the girl changed her face and didn't even greet us. She started being rude and didn't like when we asked if there was more orange chicken in the back. She said yes and took our plates to the back and told us to wait. As soon as someone else walks in she smiled and says hi. The girl then helps two customers as we wait and she walks towards the back and gets food of a counter with her hands and proceeds to eat it. She yells that our orange chicken is ready and we asked why she had taken my plates to the back and proceeded to give attitude. read more

Very generous portions! Avoid the Chow mien! The noodles lack any shred of flavor, and remind me of top ramen before the seasoning pack! The fried rice is delicious and tastes like what you would expect from a restaurant not a "fast food" place. The orange chicken and sesame chicken tasted exactly the same, but were very good. The Mongolian beef was also very good with excellent kick from the spices. For the same cost you will get just as good food from Panda Express, and at least there the food will look appetizing (see photos). read more

It's crazy how much they give you. The portions are off the charts for a price that is out of 2010. If the taste wasn't there I'd certainly knock it, but they were actually able to get the taste right or the price range. You can pay an extra $7 for your plate at Panda, for a better quality plate, but wow, if you want a lot of food for an honest price, this is a good place! read more

This place is better than Panda Express & slightly comparable to your typical Chinese restaurants. The server/cashier women is nice & so are the cooks. The selection of entrees aren't big but they have your typical selections. My husband loves pepper chicken & we came here 2 days in a row just to fill in his cravings. Superior food at a reasonably decent price! The lady in the front is always super nice and will give you a lot of food. They do not speak a ton of English but are very friendly folks. I went around 1245 on a Tuesday. All the food is freshly prepared and the walnut shrimp is cooked to order. The portion size is huge, I mean gigantic. I think I paid $7.59 for 2 items with 1/2 & 1/2 fried rice and lomein. This is the best Chinese food I've had in the area and highly recommend. read more

Don't expect every dish to be as you would expect, they claim to cook authentic food not americanized, decent portions and prices the food I order is good depending on the Cook- it's a hit or miss and they are nice some days but not always that's the one consistent thing that I would say about them..... China Wok Express is "okay" for Chinese fast food. Nothing special, but nothing terrible either. When I visited, the restaurant was clean and well lit, though their soda machine was out of order and they had literally no ice for my friend who wanted a cup of water. We came in and ordered party trays for a party that we were throwing. Their party trays are priced fairly because they literally pack the trays to the rim. They base their prices on "meats" "seafoods" (which is priced a bit more since its seafood- fish, shrimp, etc) and their large party trays for beef fried rice is only $18 and our tray was literally filled to the rim and more! We also came back the next day to order their entrees. For two entrees it was $5.95 with half fried rice and half chowmein, and let me tell you, they are definitely NOT stingy with their portions! They can barely even close the styrofoam boxes they packed our food in! Good choices overall, all the general Chinese foods you can get (and you can even get honey walnut shrimp! As a choice!) so I would definitely choose this place over any generic Panda Express. Food is fresh and the kitchen is just right there so you can see the food being cooked, rather it being tucked in the back or anything. The lady who worked the register is nice and helpful as far as explaining their party tray options, and even offered a freebie of sesame balls to or order. The only reason why I'm giving them 4 stars and not 5 is because the lady kinds steered us away from ordering a large tray of salt& pepper fish because she said it would use their whole supply and instead suggested only a half tray and said we couldn't pay our party orders in credit cause it cost too much to charge (49cents) which we didn't mind paying, but she requested us to come back on the day of pick up and oh full cash. This place was recommended to me & I can see why. I got an entree, soup, and a appetizer for $12 ($10 w/delivery charge), I have paid that for just the entree at other places. I was worried about having leftovers for later in the night & wanted to order a medium size but the woman on the phone kind of laughed & said "you want a small", now I see- it's enough for 3 meals for me. My only complaint is the Wonton Soup is a little salty, not a big deal. I will definitely order from here again. read more
