Was craving some fish & chips and randomly stumbled upon this place on our scooter ride! We went for some quick bites and ended up feasting with their HH deal!! They have HH daily from 3 to close in their bar area with some stunning views We ordered almost everything off the menu and each dish was under $15 and so good

Been awhile since I have visited my friend and I were coming back from Everett and trying to figure out where to catch lunch when she said Chinooks I didn't hesitate to say yes. My go to is usually their Tombo Tuna Salad if it's on the menu for summer , or the blackened fish tacos. I had the tacos today. Their cannery bread is always so delicious comes out immediately warm herbed and buttery delicious. Tacos did not disappoint love the mango salsa. My friend got the halibut fish and chips but opted for a side of vegetable instead of fries. Which was beautiful asparagus yesterday afternoon. We both had a cocktail as it was a Friday that we took off. Staff as always was friendly attentive and always so helpful.

I've been to Chinook's several times and had good experiences, but this most recent time was GREAT! all due to our amazing server, Oliver. Our group of 4 came by boat for a Sunday brunch. We had quite a few modifications and extra requests and Oliver delivered above & beyond with a cheerful and fun attitude! Food and drinks were all great. We hope to be back soon and be served by Oliver again!

This place has so many windows, there is not a bad seat in the house! We got a table right at the window, and had a beautiful view of the docked boats. We started with a Bloody Mary and lemonade. They were both delicious. They serve a bread basket as soon as they bring drinks. We ordered oysters to start which were great! Fish n chips were a solid 8 out of 10 and the rock fish tacos were good, they had pineapples, mangos, and kiwi on them, different but good. We would definitely come back if we are ever in the area again

Went to Chinook's on a friend's recommendation. It was awesome! We had great views of the marina and excellent food. The fresh strawberry lemonade was excellent, the shrimp fettuccine was great, and the Caesar salad was to die for. The dressing was light, refreshing, and perfect! We got a side of lemon aioli to dip the calamari in too and that was great. If I went back, I would want to try their salmon dishes which seemed popular!! But, I was craving fettuccine and I ate every bite!

Hands down my favorite seafood restaurant in the Seattle area. This is a regular dinner location for me monthly. I've never had a bad dish, and the service is always top notch. Seasonal drinks and desserts add fun changes to the menu. All while enjoying a great view of the boats docked outside the large windows. This is a must try restaurant.

Oysters were the best!

Always a great dinner and service is excellent! Enjoyable views of the Port from inside the restaurant one of my h o to restaurants when in Seattle.

Chinook's is under the Anthony's umbrella of so many locations, and this is my favorite of all of them. As family members go, it's the laid back, cool and chill favorite aunt of the family. Very comfortable window seating with a nice view of the docks of Salmon Bay. The food is the usual Anthony fare with seasonal specialties, and it always seems to be made well. I hate to tip my hand and let the word out, but there is a dynamic duo that works the bar, and they are great at service. They've been there awhile, they are friendly, and they take care of us. They are pretty good at making the libations also.

Chinooks - Please change the profile picture for your restaurant here. No self-respecting institution should have Manhattan clam chowder as it's advertised dish.. especially when you serve the real stuff from New England. This spot is an oft-overlooked Seattle institution. Mostly because of the views, but the food is solid-teetering-on-great. Most places that are on the water in Seattle do not have great food and are just tourist traps. Fried food is definitely a good way to go here, I was slightly disappointed by the shrimp fettuccine. Mostly because of those tiny little baby shrimp. They're almost like the veal of shrimp. The reason you come here though, and I'm not even a big dessert guy, is the peach cobbler. I think this is just a seasonal thing, but it's a top 5 restaurant dessert I've had in my life. There's something about the phenomenal peach flavor, warm sweet bread, and cold ice cream all coming together in a perfect bite. You guys nailed this one. Come here to impress your parents, or your girlfriend, or your girlfriend's parents.

Is there handicap access? As much as I can recall there's a lot of stairs.

Yes, after you enter, there are stairs directly in front of you and a ramp to the left. There’s lots of seating and they will seat you to allow extra space.

We came on the earlier side and ended up waiting around 20 minutes before ordering. I got the dover and fries, and this was probably one of the best fish and chips dishes I have ever had! The fish was super duper thin and coated generously, and then topped with some seasoning mix that was so flavorful. The fries / potatoes were also insanely crispy and flavorful - the skins were the best part. I also really liked the tarter sauce that it came with! I can still remember how it all tastes. On a Saturday evening, we waited in line about 20 minutes and then were able to order and be sat. All the staff was very friendly. We tried the smoked salmon dip with chips, the fried chicken sandwich and the the black cod kasusuke. The crab rolls were sold out by the time we got there or we definitely would have tried those. The salmon dip was good, lots of dill, and the chips were crispy. The fried fish sandwich was light, which was nice for something fried, and the roll it was on was soft and warm. The black cod kasusuke was my favorite dish of the meal. The black cod was tender and fell apart, and it was seasoned so nice. It came with a spinach salad and rice which was also delicious. If I could give half stars, this would be pushing a 4.5. Nothing blew me away, but everything was fresh and enjoyable!

The hosts were great and flexible by means that we got here right before close and all that was left was wine and oysters from the adjacent restaurant but they let us relocate next door where they had more options in terms of food. So we ordered 2 dozen oysters (there was no advertised price), bottle of wine (62 bucks) clams, cheese, and another side dish, and a few beers. Food taste was great but very small portions for the money. I believe the steamed clams was like 30 something but barely a pound so we ordered another one. Thought the total bill for the 4 of us was going to be around $200 but was shocked to see a $510 dollar bill for some small apps and wine/beer. So when I woke up still craving shellfish, RockCreek was the call. It was the right one. A dozen oysters to start: Kumamoto and Shigoku. Clean -- no grit, no sand. Whatever they're doing back there, it's working. The brine was full and present in every shell, and the mignonette hit that rare sweet spot of light but actually seasoned. The Winter Old Fashioned? Get it. It was so delicious. Then came the crab Benedict. The side salad alone was worth writing home about -- big, buttery, peppery leaves draped in one of those feather-light vinaigrettes that sounds simple until you try to replicate it at home and realize you can't. But the real star of the entire plate was the potatoes. Crispy outside, genuinely fluffy inside, seasoned with conviction. A masterpiece is not too strong a word. Closed with a glass of pink wine. Was eyeing the bottle with the piglet on the label, but it was bottle-only -- a distinction I find increasingly arbitrary as a former server and bartender. One day that policy will be a relic. Not yet, apparently. Best brunch I've had in Seattle in two years. Highly recommend.

I had a tough time with this review. I wanted to love the place. The reviews were strong overall,…read morethe service was really good. Location is nice, setup was nice, effort of the team was really nice. The food was really mediocre. I hope it was just an off night. Honestly, we struggled with $60 a dozen for oysters. I have been to 2 and 3 star Michelin restaurants that didn't charge $5 an oyster. I'm okay with $40 knowing they are fresh and all of the details are going to be exceptionally curated, but I genuinely have never seen $60 and we live in LA and are from Boston. With that said, the Hamachi crudo was excellent and really well done. The sourdough bread, while really good with an herbed butter spread, was cold and it just seemed like a miss to not have warm bread when you are charging $10 for it. The Octopus appetizer was also excellent. Really tender and fresh, and a great combination of flavors with the olives and cannelinis and potatoes. The entrees were pretty disappointing overall. The blackened Ono was good, not great. Again, the inconsistency in the execution hurt it most. Flavors were good, but the grits were cold and the fish was lukewarm. The seabass was excellent, by far the best dish. The large amounts of basil and dill were maybe a bit much, but overall a really well done dish - broth was excellent, onions delicious, and fish was fresh and perfectly cooked -- crispy on outside, and super tender and lush inside. We would like to think the "short rib" was just an off-day miss. We were confused when asked if "medium-rare is okay" for a short rib. And while that might still be on us in terms of misunderstanding the dish and thinking it was a standard slow-cooked short rib -- when the dish came out, we didn't know what to do. We literally couldn't cut through the meat. While some was just the thick tendon that sometimes happen in a good piece of meat, most of the meat was really difficult to cut and super chewy on the palate. It bordered on "send it back", but I have done that maybe twice in my life. Overall flavor profiles were good, but it was pretty inedible and we just kind of let it go and shared the other entrees. The desserts were good, but certainly not really distinguishable and the entrees left a pretty sour mark. The wine list was fantastic - obviously, whomever built it has some Somm knowledge and the value was excellent. We really wanted to love this place -- and 3* is generous based on the experience/cost, but we will pragmatically look at it as an off night and let the opportunity to overcome it again at some point on another trip to the Seattle area based on its strong standing amongst Yelpers and overall consistently strong reviews.
