Let me start by saying I NEVER am one to leave a 1 star review and try to be positive about my experience.... one would think you can't go wrong with chipotle, however each of my experiences at this location continue to go down hill. Tonight which was a Sunday evening around 7pm, I had about 4 people in front of me and it took 25 minutes to get in and out of there. It was as if they don't prepare food after a certain time. All the rice was out, they were scraping the bottom of the container, the lettuce for salad looked as though it had gone bad. I waited for brown rice to finish and it came out watery and once I tasted my burrito bowl there was zero flavor in the beans and rice. I've been here a few times and found it pretty messy and they have run out of lettuce or other items before. And I understand it's a heavily populated area, but come on! Get it together. If you're in the area and wanted quick Mexican fast food I suggest tack time on the other side of the parking lot as they are always consistent and clean. read more

Worst customer service and very messy!! We've come here more than once as we love chipotle and this is the only one in Newcastle. Every time we come here though, the customer service is consistently horrible and the area where the food is kept is so sloppy. For example, today we saw meat in the queso. I came here yesterday for lunch. I was pleased to see that they finally loaded my burrito bowl as it should be. The other few times I've come here, the girls wouldn't put much of anything into the bowl, they would put about half of every item then what I've been use to. But yesterday, everything was great! Except for the guacamole, I usually order a side of it and this batch looked fake almost. It was a lighter green color, the taste was still good but it was almost like it was watered down or maybe previously frozen and the thawed? There seems to be an issue with to go orders made on the app. When you add bonuses like extra protein using your points it never shows up on the stores ticket. I reported this the first time via the app and Chipotle customer service took care of it. Thank you! When it happened again today I asked the store employee to double check my order. He said the order was made as the ticket specified. We both looked at the ticket and it did not specify double protein. A minute later he backtracks and nervously says there should be double protein. He opens up my burrito bowl and starts to dig around in my order using a fork. I asked again how would he know to add double protein if it wasn't on his order ticket? He couldn't answer and begrudgingly threw away the order and made a new one. Mistakes happen, most people are reasonable and never get worked up over it. But being dishonest when minutes earlier you acknowledged that the order was not made correctly. Look, I get the huge portions back in the early Chipotle days are gone. However, if you're going to charge me an extra $6.95 for double protein, all I'm asking is for that, nothing more. There is a different chipotle a little further from where I'm at. Upon checkout, I asked for a lid to cover my bowl and received a death stare from the cashier for asking such an innocent question. This was after I tipped, even though I received a thousand yard stare from one of the preppers a moment before. I realize we all have bad days, but my experience just to get food was really that bad. I've worked in food service. Also, my family members have their own restaurants and built their businesses on the golden rule. Running a restaurant is soooo hard which is why I rarely if ever post a negative review. I eat at Chipotle often and have never had this experienced a location anywhere near as dirty. It's 8.05 and there are not a lot of people here. There are no forks, no Diet Coke, no Lemonade. The tables are not clean, the restaurant floor is filthy as is the line were the food is being prepared. Won't come back to this location. read more

I looked to the right and saw them blasting out burritos but that those were for exclusively online orders. I couldn't order a burrito at Chipotle. My burrito was poorly assembled, basically falling apart and soaking wet. The tabletops were a mess and the garbage cans were overflowing. It looks like others have reported the same problems. When I lived on MI this was the more convenient Chipotle for me and needless to say I was there rather often! It was much easier to get to than the downtown Bellevue one and the parking situation was certainly a lot less chaotic. I had not been here in close to a year since I moved but was in the area and craving something that would keep me full for a bit. I arrived around 6:30pm and was shocked that they had a line out the door! Did I miss the memo to have a reunion here? Are they giving away free chips and guac?? Nope! Apparently this is the after school athlete hangout! I was impressed with the way the team was getting everyone through the line quickly, while still taking the time to ask how your day was going and ensuring your order was correct. That was awesome! I've been to other locations where their staff could not keep up with this volume of people. While it took me about 20 minutes to make it from the line outside to the check out it was still a pleasant experience! The staff at this location is friendly and the only downfall is that sometimes when you go at opening time they have stale chips (bleh). read more

I have found the staff friendly enough and the portions they serve are reasonable. Wow, once again, Chipotle DISAPPOINTS! Get this, first of all the employees are NOT customer focused, the "manager" working tonight (5/3/19) is the shittiest manager I have never experienced. (I'll explain his amazing "customer service skills later"). I say that because our two orders, that we ordered tonite were ALL screwed up. My husband and I got salads... I watched them put double chicken like we ordered and thought ok, they will get this right. WRONG! After noticing that they didn't put the salad dressing in the bag for both of our salads. So I asked the cashier, he went to go get some, there wasn't any so he asked if they were all out. A couple of the workers said yep. So I explained this happened a couple days ago but I had gotten all the way home to find out they were out. At that time we had called and talked to a guy and he said he would call us back and NEVER did! They didn't bother letting someone know when there is an online order? WTF is the point of putting ur telephone number? So then I asked if they could make some, he said it takes a long time and they were busy , after that I asked him why wouldn't they say something to me while they are making it and I'm right there in front of him. Especially since it's on my damn order receipt that he is reading, while making my food! The cashier then told me to hang on , he would see what he could do. I told him I wanted to talk to a manager and they did have a line and they were busy but NO MANAGER EVER came to see what was up. Shitty service for sure. But the best part is, after the cashier went and talked to a guy chopping up some chicken, he comes back and says would u like some guacamole and chips? That's the best u can do Chipotle? That's laughable, if I wanted guacamole and chips I would've bought it myself, I wanted my damn order to be correct. I said no, he then shrugged his shoulders and started ringing up the customer that was in line. I also asked if someone could make some and he said it takes a long time and they were short staffed and busy! No apology, no nothing. Just bullshit excuses! WTF Chipotle, get ur shit together, not sure if this is obvious but THIS location is a shit show! ALL the time! I was shocked! I left, got home, my husbands veggies were not completely cooked, my salad did not have sour cream, and my daughters meal did not have fruit because they were all out. Besides her quesadilla wasn't even warm enough to melt the cheese. So my conclusion here is two things, someone doesn't know how to read an order on a receipt and someone doesn't know how to cook the staples that chipotle has! Time to get it together boys! Process values, Telling customers they are not allowed to order something unless they place an online order for the exact same item they actually make. I used to not be able to order a quesadilla online for pick up because there was no option online, now, it's is the complete opposite; I can not order it at the counter but I can only order it online. The manager himself told me this right after an associate told me this. It does not make sense in 2021 to step backwards in customer service and efficiency especially when you are trying to maximize every foot in the door. This location in Factoria - Bellevue Washington on 3/29/21 at 4:15pm, whichever staff was working were all behind this notion with no obligation to maximize the order by making the order. I can image this causing loss for more than just my own order. Sounds like this is a direct order through all chipotle's from corporate, if it is, this might need to be re-evaluated especially when it comes to customer service training. This location specifically has a 2 star rating in direct correlation to the customer service as well. This may need to be put under the scope. read more

I ordered the new Asada bowl... in the picture it shows the bowl including guacamole, however once I ordered it, they said that's an extra cost. Seems like false advertising. The place was a disaster, dirty tables everywhere. Soda machine was out of syrup, no napkins and no toilet paper in the bathroom. I talked to the kid 'manager' and she is clueless about my order and then she prints out my order again from the register and passes it over to the other kids. Probably the worst Chipotle I've ever been to, where to start... Food is okay though they were running out of stuff and would just give you the tiny bit that's left instead of refilling. They burned the first cheese quesadilla I ordered and I had to remind them to take out the second one before they burned that one too. They were completely out of soda in the machine and didn't refill it when we asked. Everyone just had to give up on having soda that we paid for. There was a huge puddle in the middle of the restaurant that they put a caution sign on but didn't even try to mop up. Several DoorDash people were waiting forever for their order.
