I went in store for a burrito bowl, watched them prepare it in front of me, then devoured 70% of it as soon as I left and found a mid sized beetle looking bug. I'm disgusted and will never eat chipotle again. I understand vegetables sometimes come with bugs, but they clearly are not washing them well enough and that leaves me concerned. I have been buying chipotle from this location for years at least a couple times a week until recently they got a new manager who is this lady that is very disrespectful and rude. I come here with my friends often after school and I am in high school and although we spent so much money here and always clean up after ourselves, she assumes that we won't clean up after ourselves and often refuses service or if she accepts service a bowl comes with sides of pico, and corn, and cheese but she refuses to give it to us even though that's what we paid for the workers they are fine. They just have to obey whatever their manager tells them to do which is honestly awful. She's the worst manager and most rude person I've ever met. I don't have an issue with this location. I have an issue with their manager, I think this place would be a much better food spot with her not in charge. read more

During a single visit to this store, I witnessed two deeply disturbing events. First, the food handler used the same gloves to handle food and the cash register, which was beyond unsettling. Second, I saw a different person in the kitchen rub his belly with his hands and then proceed to handle food containers. Food quality is okay. The Service and experience is very Beverly Hills. Employees are brown, but still look down on non-white/Arabic guests. From differential service to servings on your entree. I was scheduled for an interview, and they told me they didn't have time to interview me. After I traveled to the store, they said they didn't even know they had an interview scheduled. The Lady at the register was looking at me as if i ruined her day (it was scheduled at 10:20 and i was early) the gentleman didn't even wash his hands to shake my hand, as if Im some sort of oddity, then stated that he didn't have time and they were too busy while everyone watched me from the counter. It seems portion control and cost of goods has gone high up because for 15 dollars a bowl, I'd expect at least a decent amount of scoop of rice. Worst service imaginable. They stopped food prep and started announcing no corn and guac even though it was about an hour before closing. Tbere is a sign fhat says "mobile order pick up." But that's not where to go. You have to go to the back, past the bathrooms. I had to wait in line 10 minutes because nobody helped me while I patiently waited next to "mobile orders." There were only 4 people in front of me but the pace was very slow because they only had 1 worker taking orders while another appeared to be performing closing tasks. I work very nearby so I am kind of forced to come here sometimes. There are a lot of places here on S. Beverly to get a bite, but to be honest everything is overpriced and yucky lately. So today I decided to try their soft tacos. I did a simple order, just beans, guac and cheese with some pico de gallo on top. The clerk was up front about the fact that the guac would be chunky and I was cool with that. So I went back to my business and was surprised to received a whole half of avocado in one of the tacos and a quarter of an avocado in another taco. It was not just shoddy prep of the guacamole, the avocado was not even ripe. Like I could not even put a fork into the avocado. So I walked back and i was not really expecting a refund. I just wanted to let them know about it and to not serve it to others. Anyway they offered me a refund no problem and clerk went to get the supervisor. When I told him the issue he stated that the boss would never not let him serve guacamole even if the avocados were not ripe. All i could do was look aghast. And jeez this place is dirty on top of all that like other reviews say. The apathy of their management says a lot. But it has to start at the top. Why do they continue like this?
