Decided to check this place out. Happened to be in the area and wanted a sandwich. As soon as you walk in the place looks very neat and clean. Our server was pleasant, answering all our questions about the menu and made some suggestions. We went for the beach club, not toasted. Turkey, provolone, avocado spread, lettuce, cucumber and mayo. The sandwich was fresh, the veggies as well. Assembled very nicely. The Avacado spread was ok. It was more like a sauce and I wished it would have been more of a fresh avacado spread. Personally I felt like the avocado lacked consistency, and flavor. The bread was ok. It looks great. But I was hoping for a signature smell and taste. And it just tasted very plain to me. These sandwiches come in 8 in and 16 inch sizes. The 16 inch is perfect for 2 to share. I also tried their desserts. Their triple chocolate chip cookie is delicious! Their oatmeal cookie is really good. The nutmeg flavor really stands out in this cookie. If you love nutmeg this cookie is for you. The brownie was moist and chewy. Very nice! Tried their chips and they are kettle like chips. They are ok. The jalapeño one were my favorite! Only thing I think could be better would be the price. These small chips are priced at $3.19 each. The desserts are equally priced but if I had to choose I'd definitely go for the dessert. This place has plenty of parking. Restrooms are available and they have a rewards program. As far as fast food sub shops go, this is quick but lacking quality. I'd rate this below Jersey Mikes and Subway... Ambiance is very casual. Service at this location was fine, sandwich was up quick! I got the #16 Club Lulu (added provolone and yellow mustard) which was pretty basic. Bread and wasn't great, turkey was mediocre, lettuce and tomato were fresh. Though there is nothing bad with Jimmy John's, there was nothing too special either and if you're going to charge the same as your competitors your food should be as good. The exterior of their main French bread is just too tough & as you bite the sub it pushes the content out to creat a very unsatisfactory ratio of stuff in your mouth. Their seeded wheat is a great bread though. The main problem I have with Jimmy John's subs is simply how they aren't a comfortable eat at all. I've never had a sandwich from JJ's that had "one paper thin piece" of meat on it. And if you'd rather eat at Subway that's your choice. But why not write a review for Subway? I was first introduced to JJ's when I was in Dallas, Fort Worth on business. We had sandwiches from them one day and I was hooked. It was a much better product than Subway. Now don't get me wrong, I like Subway. But if I have a choice, I'm eating at JJ's. The meat is good. The bread is good (I recently discovered their sliced whole wheat, yum!). And something that is really crazy (I even noticed another yelper mention it), what's up with that mayonnaise? It's like crack! It's better than TJ's or Best Foods hands down. The price for a JJ's sandwich is fair. Even the price for the "Hunters Club" is like $8 and if you truly need a bigger sandwich than that then I'm scared of you. Seriously. Yesterday I went to this location and ordered their Chicken Caesar wrap and a bag of chips, saw they had barely any chips left only jalapeño which I passed on. I paid $10 cash and waited for my meal in which I was then told they had no more chicken for the wrap and if they wanted me to void the meal or get something else. I said if they could void and he said yes it'll be back on your card in 3 days. I left and came right back because I remembered I paid cash.
