I really love Chipotle food but I'm not gonna lie, you people stress me out. When I order in person, I get a decent amount of protein; nothing crazy but ok. When I order through Door Dash, I've been cheated multiple times. Two or three pieces of chicken in a taco, the tiniest pinch of cheese, it's just ridiculous. It's like the employees paid for the food out of their own pockets. And I order it almost bare - just chicken, cheese and lettuce and they still go cheap on me because I'm not in the store to watch them. When I go into the store, which is a hassle for me, I see surly, unhappy servers and three full garbage cans overflowing with trash to the point it's on the floor. One time, I waited a half hour during a lunch rush, and when it was finally my turn to order, they said they didn't have any more soft shells so I'd have to order it online to get the shells from the other side of the store. I refused that nonsense and finally she walked across the room to get the soft shells. It was so unnecessary and not the way to earn customer loyalty, especially after standing in line for 30minutes! read more

I always run into someone here! Food is amazing!!! Service is pretty good. The only bad thing is the place where you get the fountain drinks not necessarily the fire and drinks, but the sauce that they provide you, it's messy like they don't clean it enough, it's pretty unsanitary so I don't use it all but if you are a sauce connoisseur, you will have to see if it is clean enough for your liking to connoisseur your sauce. read more

I had a pretty disappointing experience at the Chipotle in Brighton. My boyfriend and I went in yesterday, and the place was very messy--there weren't any clean tables available, so we had to wipe one down ourselves just to sit. I do want to say that I understand it was very busy, and I know how hard it can be to keep up with cleanliness during a rush like that. I also noticed that several staff members were clearly trying their best and working hard, which I definitely appreciated. However, what really made the experience frustrating was the service we received with our online order. We had placed it about 30 minutes before arriving, yet we were the last people served. Everyone who was in line after we got there received their food before us, which didn't make much sense. When we went up to ask about our order, the employee preparing it was very rude and dismissive. She was making snarky comments about other staff right in front of us, and when she saw our order--which was just a simple burrito and a bag of chips--she rolled her eyes and threw her hands up like we were a huge inconvenience. I completely understand that working during a rush can be overwhelming and frustrating, but all I ask is that employees don't take that out on customers--especially not in such an obvious way when we're standing right there. It made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Even after all of this, I stayed polite and even was kind enough to tell the rude employee, "no rush!!", but the overall experience left a bad impression. This chipotle used to be great but the last couple years it has gone majorly downhill. The place is always filthy; every table is dirty, trash overflowing and spilling into the floor, counters have soda stains and no silverware or napkins, etc. the workers are rude move so slow. I put in a mobile order and it took 15 minutes longer than my scheduled time. I don't know if they need new management or new employees, but I'm grossed out every time I go in there. Used to be my favorite fast food restaurant. When we went Saturday, every table was dirty. I asked if I could have a rag to clean the table and he told me to use a napkin. The floors were dirty with food. The tables were dirty. Chairs were dirty. I was given the very bottom of the barrel of meat and it couldn't have been 1 ounce. I read through a few reviews of this location and experienced zero of the issues other have had. I came in at a shift change. The girl who was making burritos was taking her apron off and a coworker was making her food for her shift. After waiting my turn, the the gal helped me. I got the last of the barbacoa in the pan. But i heard the guy in the back already say more was ready. We went on and finished out my burrito. The experience was pleasant. The burrito was great. Everything was cooked well. The service from the beautiful girl who helped me was with a smile. I have 0 complaints about this location. I just started working nearby, so ill check back after a couple other visits. read more

We were headed to Qdoba but wanted to chipotle. It didn't show up on the map search. We jerked the car into the parking lot excited we found a chipotle. That's where the excitement ended. Worst visit to any chipotle, which is hard to beat today with how chipotles are being managed. We had to wait over 25 minutes to get chicken. They kept telling us it was because of online orders. This was even after we were told we wouldn't have to wait. They had no meat ready to serve to anyone walking in. The staff was fighting about and the manager had zero control over what was going on. She didn't explain what was going to the line of people - a hourly employee did. The restaurant was a mess! We planned to eat inside since we had a 2+ hr drive home, but there were no clean tables - this happens at every chipotle I goto nowadays. There wasn't any napkins, forks or other utensils and condiments available at the station. The speciality drinks were mostly empty and looked gross. There were at least 10 employees on the clock. "What's up?"........ This is how I was "greeted" while looking at the menu. After just a few seconds of absorbing how I was spoken to, surveying the grimey floor, finger print covered glass, filthy counters and overall appearance of the place - I turned around and walked out. Trying to get chipotle for dinner is a great way to remind yourself it's better to eat home. Why even be open until 11pm if you run out of your basic ingredients at 7, or earlier? No white rice, no shredded cheese, no black beans, no drinks other than fountain drinks. Watching the employees refill the bins of food was disgusting. Dumping new food into HOURS old, sat there drying out, bottom of the bin food? Really? Food stations are a MESS. Prep kitchen, a mess, dirty dishes from the whole day piled up on what is supposed to be a clean work station. I almost walked out based on that alone. Food safety and cleanliness were not present in this establishment. I watched as the employee scraped dried up queso that just slopped onto the order of food for the woman in front of me. She was also not happy about it. When I asked if the ingredients from the to go station could be used in my order he told me no, because then they'd "have to refund a customer if they ordered it and then it wasn't available", but are fine to watch me walk out of the store entirely without ordering anything. Apparently there's enough ingredients for online orders but screw the people that come into the store. The managers need to do better about ordering enough ingredients. Chipotle is bad. read more

I ordered a burrito with guacamole and chips. The burrito was horrible with chewy beef that I paid extra for, bland guacamole and about 15-20 chips in a paper bag. The whole meal was horrible. Absolutely horrible. The burrito was supposed to have salsa verde in it but I received a red sauce that made the entire burrito taste like smoke. I requested fajita veggies and got none. This chipotle location is the absolute worst here in Brighton, Michigan. Every single time I go there out of everything they wait till I get to the front line to say that they can't service you. Today about eight of us were in line and out of nowhere, they said that they could only take orders online and that there was only three of them and that was that. Everyone just walked out. I've encountered this at least four or five times on different occasions when I brought it up to the manager the response has been we've been understaffed for years. Absolute worst chipotle in Michigan. You're lucky if they even have half of their options to choose from. Just today I went there like an idiot giving it another try and the only thing they had for meat choice was steak that looked like it's been there since they first opened their location. The salsa half of the line was basically non existent and only had lettuce as an option, like I don't even know why you're even open if that's all you got. The sad part is how consistent this is too. I swear 9/10 they are out of over 90% of everything they are trying to sell yet have 7-8 clueless looking employees standing around staring at the ceiling like deer in headlights not knowing what to do probably because hell management doesn't even know what to do. Most of the time the managers are sitting around with their employees look even more clueless than them. Don't even get me started on how the inside is kept too. I have never and I mean never went into this location without there being trash literally everywhere. It looks like there was a good old fashioned food fight and the employees all joined in. Trash is filled to the brim and you're basically required to leave your trash on the tables and floor because since they are so busy staring at the ceiling they don't have enough time to take the trash out. Oh one last note, don't buy any drinks here unless you want to pay nearly $4 for a fountain drink and only have water as an option since I don't think any of them know how to actually replace the soda in the soda machine. If you do dare to get a drink expect for it to be as warm as bath water because apparently they don't also know how to ever fill the ice up in the soda machine. Seriously and I swear on god I've been here at least 10 times, yes I know I'm an idiot and should've stopped going a while ago but I have never once went where they had ice in the machine. I then asked the employee to fill ice in the machine because every time I come they never have it, he responds with "idk we don't know what's wrong with it". I respond with " I do, there's no ice in it so it work" they magically actually did something and surprisingly the ice started to come out, crazy. It's sad because I worked at the one by Great Lakes bake when I was in college before covid and my ass would've been fired if we kept our store looking like this one. I sent the following to Chipotle customer care and while corporate acknowledged my submission, I never heard back from the local establishment. I guess if they are too busy to clean, they are too busy to answer emails. Here is my review to Chipotle: I often order via the Chipotle App my orders are often wrong at pick up and need to be corrected. On my last visit while I waited for my order to be corrected I noticed how filthy the floor of the dining room was. Close this location down. Chipotle sent me targeted ads to try their catering for the holidays. We did their 10 person package which required 24 hours notice. I arrived at 5:30 and got in line because I needed a couple other things. The staff there stopped taking orders from the line for 30 mins. They didn't address the line for that time. They just kept making to go orders with two people on that line. There were 10 people in the regular line being ignored for 30 mins. Half the people left. Half the people switched and did online orders. After 30 mins I was finally dealt with. After I got my catering order I went to leave and decided to check my order. They left off my double order of fajita veggies. For a catering order. When I asked the cashier, she said we don't have those. They had this order for 27 hours. No call, no explanation. She was just hoping I didn't notice. The failures according to the other reviews have to be because of management. They are all corporate, so it's Chipotle's problem to fix. I've prob been to 50+ locations and this one was the worst. They should just close it. I tried to resolve this issue with their customer service. I was not happy with the result obviously. read more

This location used to be insanely busy and now there's barely ever a customer in there. One time we headed over to Panda Express for food instead. They were so nice and we were thankful for that and explained the awful experiences we keep having at the Chipotle down from them. We stopped in for a lunch couple weeks ago. It was good food, but things seemed a tad messy at the counter. After check out, there was no ice in soda fountain. Asked for some, and they said ok. After 15 minutes asked again. "We can't do it at this time,"the staff stated. "It's our rush time." (Lunch.) One man was working on carry out orders on the left counter. One person at the till. Two people available to make orders on the order line. At least three people were prepping veggies in the back work area. No one was in line to give orders. No customers in line. I've tried to order from this chipotle multiple times in the past 18 months, and most times I order ahead, the store is "closed." it's closed per the employees working there, that are still there, and even when the hours online say they're open. I just placed an order today, had my card charged, but arrived at 6:40p to be told they closed at 4p? the one time i ordered in person, they were out of rice, lol. My wife and daughter had a long day at cheer. We ordered and paid for Chipotle via their app online. The money was taken from our account. My wife and daughter arrived at 7:40pm to pick it up. The stores hours are advertised to be open until 8:00pm. Upon arrival at the Brighton Chipotle store the lights were out and the door was locked. My wife knocked on the door, an employee came out and said they were closed. She asked for the manager who came out and said that they didn't have any food prepared. After explaining that she already ordered and paid. The manager said we can't hire workers and the online order is not managed by them. They said that they couldn't reimburse them the money, but they could corporate. Although monetarily it isn't a large sum of money. The totality of the circumstances definitely creates a civil tort and fringes on the line of criminal activity. read more

Oh Chipotle... your food is so good, but your service is so slooooow. This is the third or fourth time this has happened. Order my food online and get an estimate of how long it will take. The first time, I got there when the app suggested and I waited another half hour. Each time since, I've waited an extra 15 minutes before leaving home and still wait for my food. Yet, if I were to just go in and order, it's done quicker. Why haven't I learned? The area for food prep for order ahead is too small. They get a huge number of mobile orders and just can't keep up. Today there were two girls hustling to get orders done, about 4 cooking, and two others just kind of moseying around. No I don't know their process, but why not do a mobile order or two at the regular counter that is completely empty?? Today the two ladies putting the to-go orders together, were hustling. Usually I see one guy who has a clue and 2-3 others who have no clue and slow it all down. It's an easy fix. Move the slow ones. I never have an issues with food quality. I usually get carnitas or barbacoa and moth are very good. Their guacamole is mediocre. It has too much lime and not enough other seasoning in my opinion. Absolute trash. I have never had a positive experience at this location...multiple times I've walked up to the counter to order only for them to say they were only accepting online orders. The counter was set up with food, but they insisted I sit down and submit my order online...the tables were filthy and trash was overflowing.
